For some the magical creatures have been around since the dawn of time; while for other, magical creatures made their debut to the world in 1989 during the invasion of the Panama. Accidentally of course. The Confederate Army defeated the Union Army at Chancellorsville and continued to advance north towards Pennsylvania. Calling an emergency battle strategy, General Meade met with his top command to discuss their next step and what little hope they actually had to win the battle. Overhearing the discussion while passing back Clara came to Meade with fable of the wolf people that lived within the forest surrounding Gettysburg. Clara Barton was the head nurse for General Meade’s Command since the Battle of Cedar Mountain, some of the soldiers often rumored that she was a witch while others would say she was blessed by the gods with the gift of healing. Nonetheless Clara always had a magically way of bringing union soldiers back from the brink of death, often healing with minimal scaring. Hearing the tales of the hombre-lobo (werewolves) growing up in Spain, Meade and Clara devised a diversion to seek out help. Meade ordered his troops to follow and steer General Lee’s Army towards the Potomac giving them an opportunity to break away. Adventuring out into the woods they sought out the wolves. Clara prayed to the moon goddess to help guide them and convince them to join the fight. Clara and Meade found the wolves, or should I say the wolves found them. As they entered deeper into the woods Meade noticed Large paw prints that were scattered around them, that they were being tracked and followed by extremely large wolves. They were three the size of the average dog and weight about 200-300 pounds.  Meade stopped and set down his g*n as he caught a wolf out of the corner of his eye. "I seek you out for help. As you know we are in the middle of a war. A war to help free those people, who just like you, want to be accepted. People who want to have the freedom to walk among us and not be judged. Help my solider and I win this battle, and I promise to help protect this land, never to allow hunters into it. Let this land be your kinds sanctuary, protect from the outside world. " They stood there in silence for what felt like a century.  "What makes you think you will win this war? It seems you would have me sacrifice my packs lives to help save yours." A man walked out in only trousers. He was tall about 6'0 foot with long black hair that fell around his broad shoulders. His body was well formed and his muscles showed clearly from a distance. "My name is General Meade and this is my head nurse Clara Barton. We are apart of President Lincoln's Union Army. We bring you no harm." "My name is Jacob Jones, the Alpha of the Ukiuq Pack. We want no part in your wars. Please leave our land or we will be forced to kill you." He turned his back to the General and his nurse. A dozen wolves emerged from the forest into sight. They were bend down ready to dash after them by the slightest command.  "6,000." Clara yelled.  "Excuse me?" The Alpha questioned as he and the General turned towards Clara, who stood there almost shaking from fright.  "6,000 men and boys have died already from this war. While hundreds of thousands more men, women, and children are set to die if we do not win. How many of your kind are includes in those numbers? We may never know but I believe it will be hundreds. We are asking for you, not to sacrifice your people for us, but rather stand with us. Help us bring this war to an end and bring peace to America. The NEW land, the new world, the new us, together as one. " Clara's hand slid down gripping onto the Generals as wolves circled around them.  "This is your last warning. LEAVE NOW!" He turned back again turning into his wolf and running back from where he came. They walked back to their camp in silence while Clara prayed to the moon goddess to grant her prayers. The battle started at dawn the next morning. Fog soaked the meadow as the soldiers stood in line shaking from the cold and fear. Yet there were no signs of the wolves that Meade and Clara met the night before. As the fog lifted it was substituted for smoke from the guns and cannons. Screams could be heard for miles as the causality rate rose by the dozens from both sides.  As the sun set on the second day Clara ran back into the woods searching for the wolves she had encounter a few days prior. She stood in the spot she found them last, screaming her pleads into the darkness.  "Alpha Jones, I've come to make a deal with you. Please hear me out." She begged into the darkness. Slowly raising her lantern in her hand she searched for any signs of the wolves. "Please." "And what is your proposal." Jones growled a foot behind her making her jump, almost dropping her lantern. His pale blue eyes flickered in the light. He had a hard look on his face but a curious smile settled on his lips. "Me." "You? What about you, dear child?" "I have been blessed with the ability to heal people, depending on how far they have gone to the other side. I have the knowledge for birth and illness. If your people help my people I will come serve you and your kind for the rest of my days." "We have rapid healing abilities and have doctors of our own kind. We do not need you." He started to walk away when Clara grabbed his arm to stopping him. A vision flashed between them of a man and women getting married. The vision brought the feeling of love and passion outwards to them. Clara let her hand drop letting the Alpha walk away.  As the battle start again the next morning the men lines themselves up into a formation. Clara set up her supplies filling her pockets and sleeves with as much as she could. When the  bullets began to fly again, barking, growling and screams ripped through the camp. Clara ran out just in time to see 3 dozen wolves advancing from behind the confederate army, tearing them down one by one. General Meade ordered for a forward advance engulfing the confederate army in a deadly mauling. Clara went missing from the camp that afternoon, never to be seen or heard from again.   Gettysburg was won on the third day, losing nearly 3,200 men while nearly 5,000 men died from the Confederate side. When Meade was praised for his victory of Gettysburg, he praised the wolf pack that assisted the Union, ultimately recreating the first alliance among the wolves the United States. As the present became history the wolves faded back into hiding while keeping their alliance with the US military secret, letting the rumors stir into folklore and bedtime stories. That was until the invasion on Panama. The US was asked to assist in protecting the Canal against Manuel Noriega, the current Panama Dictator, who was known to work for the CIA as well as other organizations within the US. One day in December Noriega ordered for a roundup of American soldiers for public execution that would take place that night. Undenounced to the Americans, 10 of the soldiers went out into the town that night to drink and riminess about their journey.  Noriega's g**g eventually stumbled upon the American's when a fight broke up. One of Noriega's men started live streaming the attacked when one of the American soldier's transformed into his wolf.  The wolf massacred the terrorist g**g that started the fight, saving 6 of his men in the process. That was until Noriega himself walked into the bar and shot the wolf, slitting his throat on live stream.   The Wolf Nation came to light the next day, sending nearly 3,000 warriors into the Battle with Operation Just Cause. Warning that any harm that would come to another wolf by a human’s hand would end in the same fate as those in Panama, with unconditional bloodshed. The Wolf Nation became more open and involved throughout the United States and its military thereafter. Eventually opening their lifestyle and territories to those qualified to work on it, they used their wisdom and guidance to help advancements in medicine and in the peace of the nation. Human families were allowed to grow up beside the Hybrids. Humans could interact and attend the same schools as their counterparts; date, claim, and marry them. Laws and regulations with passed throughout the Wolf Elders and those in US power. The Wolves could charge, claim, and issue their own punishment as they saw fit for their kind. Claiming the mated humans only at will with permission to change the on the next New Moon. Hayden Allister’s parents were one of the first to be offered a job in their wolf territory. Her Mother was offered the Chief Attending position for the Medical Bay on Crescent Lunar Pack Estate, while her Father was offered the Battalion Chief position for the new fire station they were building in the Estate's neighborhoods that the new wolf houses were going up. Falling on hard times, both her parents could not disregard the astonishing pay raises and the benefits that came with it, including onsite housing, onsite private schooling, childcare, and full health benefits, all included into their contract. Just to better the contract more, the Territory Alpha offered for them both to pick and build their teams and to achieve the best potential possible from them. The Allister family moved two weeks later into their new home, Hayden was only six years old at the time and had no ability to comprehend how much her parent’s decision would forever change her future.
