Angel Crest, it was a small and peaceful town, due to it being protected by the Heavens. It was rumored to be protecting the Divine Sword, Divinity; it is promised to kill anything, including God himself. But only a Hybrid, both angel and demon, could wield its power without being destroyed. When Amethyst and Jasper both died in an accident, they were sent to Heaven and both were assigned to protect Divinity. Lucifer learned of Divinity's location, and battled Amethyst and Jasper. They fought savagely, giving everything; Jasper, making a very calculated decision, sneaks away with Divinity and escapes to Heaven. After Divinity was gone, Lucifer and Amethyst stopped fighting; he thinks of a plan and uses his power to put a love spell on Amethyst. Thinking that if he can't just steal the sword, he'll just have to create the Hybrid himself. Amethyst becomes pregnant with Alexandrea, and the further along she gets with carrying, the more Lucifer's spell fades. He had been injecting a mix of his and Amethyst's blood into Alexandrea's embryo for the whole pregnancy and once she went into labor, that's when his spell wore off completely.

While in labor she flies to Angel Crests lake, Lake Crystal, where the battle first started. She gives birth to Alexandrea on the dock and the baby's cries were like a siren for a war. Jasper came from Heaven with reinforcements as Lucifer came with fellow Greater Demons; The battle was brutal, some dying in process; Amethyst uses whatever strength she has, and casts Lucifer to Hell. With barely any life, she hands Alexandrea to Jasper and tells him to take care of her; with that she ascends to Heaven leaving Jasper holding his niece crying out for her mom.

I- DREA
"Thhankk yoouu, beaauutifuul." The regular slurs with a gravelly voice. He was in his mid-forties, with a beer belly and a five o'clock shadow. "It'ss ssoo niicce to seee yoourr faace evveryy Weednessdayy."         I roll my eyes as he talks, feeling little droplets of spit hit my arm. I look to see his wedding band on his finger as I set down his glass of whiskey and ice. I give a forced smile as I mutter through clenched teeth, "No problem."         He reaches out as I turn to walk away and I feel his fingers graze my side. I slap his hand away reflectively and warned, "Touch me again, and I will throw you out myself."         "God, yoouu sooundd liikke myy wiiffe." He says in a whiny tone, "Sshhe hassn't haad ssex witth mee inn moonntthss."         I scoff and ask incredulous, "Are you f*ucking kidding me?!.. You're at a bar in the middle of the week, cheating on your wife, and you demand that from her...? You're a pig!"         His face contorts into anger and I turn to walk away before he could say anything. I walk over to the bar to see Daxton making a cocktail for a woman in a skin-tight, cream colored silk dress, obviously trying to flirt with him; I snicker to myself in my head as she purses her lips slightly.         "You're totally not his type by the way." I tell her as he sets down the drink.         She turns to me with a mocking sneer and fires back, "What, and you are?"         I shrug. "If I had a p***s, sure."         Her confident expression disappears as she takes her drink from the counter, shooting daggers from her eyes, at me; I laugh as Dax gives me a 'really' look and I shrug. Dax has been my friend since I started this job; his six foot three inch frame towered over me and has a tattoo of a lion on his forearm; he has brown haired that was styled into a f*uckboy haircut, chestnut brown eyes that compliment his complexion, his jawline looked strong enough to cut diamonds, he had a scar on his right eyebrow and gauges.         "Why did you do that?" He asks with a small laugh in his voice.         "To save you." I say with a shrug and add, "Plus, it's fun."         He laughs as he shakes his head at me as I remember just seconds ago being felt up by a customer; I shudder as I feel how how grimey hands and I hug myself as I try to cover up as much skin as possible. Dax places a warm hand on my shoulder concerned and asks, "Was it a customer again?"         I nod and sigh. "Sometimes I wish I didn't have this job...but then I'd be homeless."         "You know I wouldn't let you sleep out on the street," he starts, "and I'm pretty sure Emily wouldn't mind supporting you."         "What about me?" I hear a familiar ringing voice question as they sit down beside me.         I look over to see my other friend, Emily, with a raised brow and a big smiled towards Dax and I. Emily and I have been inseparable since High School; with our feisty attitude and my wits combined, we held off all the bullies. She is five foot seven inches like me and has her nose pierced; she has curly red hair that makes her emerald green eyes pop, her pale skin held freckles on her cheekbones and the top of her full lips. Her work uniform was the same as mine; a red silk top styled like a corset, and black high waisted shorts to show off the legs.         "I was just telling Drea, that if she wanted to quit, we wouldn't let her be homeless." Dax explains.         Emily looks over at me and asks with a giggle, "Why would I kick you out of your apartment? I t was yours and Jaspers before we shared it."         I flinch at the mention of my Uncle, its been almost three years since he disappeared. After a week of searching Angel Crest and surrounding areas, the police declared them dead and that there was a very little chance he was still alive; not after what started coming to town at nightfall. But I never stopped believing he was alive; I just cant accept it, its like i can still feel apart of him with me.         I shake my head from the dark thoughts and hug Emily. "I don't know what I would do without you or Dax. You guys are all I have."         "Do you guys want to stay over at my place tonight?" Dax offers.         "We'll need to stop by our place to change first, but that sounds fun." Emily says with a smile.         I see something move out of the corner of my eye and I see our boss, Luke, come out of his office with an intoxicated woman clinging to his arm and drink in hand. Luke was probably six foot four inches and probably in his early thirties; his black hair was styled, his electric blue eyes were looking from face to face through the room, he had tan skin and stubble on his jaw. He wore a blood red suit with a gray silk button up with black dress shoes.         "Ladies and gentlemen!" He declares for attention with a booming voice. "It is now seven o'clock and The Devil's Lounge is now closed, please collect your belongings and get the hell out of my club. Get home safely and goodnight."         He goes back into the office with the woman laughing as the crowd starts to disburse. I sigh thankfully as I head to the back into the employee area with Dax and Emily close behind. I open my locker as the other employees file in and I grab my bag and jacket as Emily goes to her locker beside mine.         I just want to go home and change into comfortable clothes...         "We should hurry and get to Dax's before the eight o'clock curfew." Emily says as I close my locker and put on my jacket.         Dax, Emily, and I all walk outside to Emily's car. "Shotgun!" I exclaim as I start to fast walk to the car.         "Hey!" Dax shouts from behind me. "No fair, you got it last time!"         I stick my tongue out at him over my shoulder and say, "You have to call 'shotgun', its the rules."         He runs up to me and picks me up over his shoulder. "Let me have shotgun!" He yells playfully as he tries to torture me by spinning in circles.         "No!" I yell stubbornly.         "Rules are rules." I hear Emily say to Dax and she laughs.         "Give it up." He says still spinning, not giving up just yet.         At this point my head spinning in circles and I couldn't tell from up and down, but I am way too stubborn to give up my dibbed seat. "I'll never surrender!" I exclaim giggling.         Dax puts me down and I wobble from dizziness; he steadies me as I laugh and look up to see him chuckling. "Fine, you win."         "Yes!" I yell as I fist bump the air in victory. "I am undefeated!"         I turn towards the car as I hear him laugh as I eagerly get in the passenger seat. On the drive to our place, I looked at our little ghost town; the city has its street lights on and with the sun starting to get in setting position, it put a unsettling vibe on the evenings. The night Uncle Jasper disappeared, a dark entity was stalking this town. It was the same thing that took others too, people that had barely escaped with their life told everyone that whatever it was, it was invisible. Once we get to our apartment, Emily and I go inside to change and take off my makeup. I go into my room and hurriedly take off my revealing uniform to replace it with a pair of sweatpants and a t-shirt. I go over to my mirror and take off my makeup as I look at myself; my white hair tumbled down in curls, my violet eyes hung with exhaustion, my tanned skin was clear and my lips were coated in chapstick. I put my hair into a loose bun as I walk out of my room and call for Emily.         We quickly drive over to Dax's place with and make it with fifteen minutes to spare. We pile inside his one bedroom apartment and I sit down in the chair beside the window as I enjoy the sunset; once the sun was down I close the blinds and curtains and go sit on the couch beside Dax. I focus on the movie they were watching as my eyes start to sag.         I rest my head on his shoulder as my eyes close and he asks whispering with a chuckle in his breath, "Are you falling asleep on me?"         "Mhmm, deal with it m*ther f*ucker." I say smiling without opening my eyes.
