FLYING IN THE HEIGHTS

CHAPTER-1. (1) A tragic start It was a sunny day while the passengers were waiting for boarding and the aircraft was fueling up. capt.viranshu Singh was seeing the flight plan and getting the flight routine It was a direct flight from Washington DC to Las Vegas. capt.viranshu Singh was one of the most experienced and respected pilots also one of the most old pilots in the aviation. He was going to complete his journey with his co.pilot Timothy Jameson who was one of the new recruits.he was young full of attitude he didn't like to be corrected. at sharp 12:55 the boarding started and people were boarding.there were 128 people on board that day The safety instructions were given to the passengers. When everyone boarded then there was an announcement from the pilot." Hello ladies and gentle men this is the captain speaking today's journey will be completed in 2:15 hrs the weather is quiet good our cree is going to take your full care so relax back and enjoy the journey thankyou". The plane was ready to take off The engines started and soon after the plane was running on the runway and took off in the air ."mommy look we are in the sky" shouted a little kid looking out of the window in an excitement. "Yes son" replied the women seated .soon after the food cart came the women asked " excuse me can I get a cold coffee a coke and some cookies that would be all " the flight attendant nodded with a smile "sure" " meanwhile" in the cabin capt.viranshu Singh started a conversation with his co.pilot .Timothy Jameson "so where do you live " asked capt.viranshu Singh. Timothy replied " well iam from Los Angeles " . " and you oh wait I don't even need to ask you must be from India how did you even become a pilot like did you even get proper education" insulted Timothy . Capt.viranshu with a look of disappointment on his face with a sigh ignored him. It was 2:30 when an turbulence hit the plane passengers were scared." A Strom hits the plane capt. viranshu handled the situation pretty smartly unlike his Co.pilot. Timothy who was panicking and shouting " we are gonna die I don't wanna die like this oh my god". capt.viranshu told him to keep calm and stay focus on controls . The airport of las Vegas was not far away . Until they found out that the landing gear was not working. Co.pilot.timothy contacted the atc and said " this is flight 17896 our front landing gear is not working asking permission gor wheelie landing over " there was a reply from atc "flight 17896 you are all clear I repeat you are all clear over ". " copy that " said co.pilot. Timothy the flight was landed on its back tyres while keeping front one in air thankfully the plane landed with zero casualties and the people were soon rescued on the spot . Co.pilot.timothy raised his hand towards capt.viranshu Singh and said " captain iam sorry for my foolishness but now I know why you're the most respected pilot in the aviation " both of the shook hands Capt.viranshu Singh was awarded for saving the lives of the people in the plane. The next day his friends peers juniors organised a part for him . Because it was his last day in USA he had a flight scheduled from USA to Dubai to India so he had to leave for Dubai in the evening. After the party he left his hotel room and boarded a flight as a passenger .finally relaxed and all chill thinking about his wife dipika and son Arjun as he was thinking of them a joy of Happiness hit him and he smiled as he thought of them. The flight landed at the Dubai airport viranshu took a cab to his hotel and when he reached the hotel the hotel manager asked for his id and said " sir are you capt.viranshu Singh " "Yes" replied viranshu " great can we have a selfie " asked the hotel manager "yeah sure " replied viranshu after the selfie he got his room key and he walked to his room and as he got in he was tired after a long day do he got a massage and slept on the bed When he woke up next day he had 12 missed calls from his wife dipika . He was worried that what happned he called back immediately his wife picked up the phone . Dipika-"hello viranshu ". Viranshu-"hello dipika what happened is everything all right is everything okay". Dipika-"yes no worries everything is all right arjun (who was viranshu's son and currently 12 years old ) was asking that could he talk to you he called you 12 times but you didn't pick up". ( as dipika was talking to viranshu arjun snatched the phone from dipikas hand. Arjun-"dad where were you i called you 12 times anyways when are you coming back do you know tomorrow is my birthday ". Viranshu-" iam totally dorry for not picking up the phone well ill be back by today evening don't worry ". Arjun- " and did you get the gifts ". Viranshu-" yes don't worry i got everything ". Arjun-" cool iam just waiting for your arrival captain we are going to have a lot fun dad ". Viranshu-" yes we would buddy now i have to go so if you allow may i go Arjun - "you are dismissed (arjun chuckles) bye dad see you in evening". Viranshu- " bye son " Viranshu hangs up the phone and gets ready for work .viranshu looks at his watch and says " i have some of the time why don't i grab a coffee ". Viranshu grabs his id and luggage walks out of the hotel while sipping on a hot chocolate coffee that he got from the cafeteria . He takes a taxi to the airport . When he reaches the airport he checks in as a pilot and gets the flight routine and safety instructions . Mr aditya ( who was viranshu's step brother and arjuns uncle .) Was guiding capt.viranshu through the instructions and protocols. Mr aditya-" capt.viranshu the aircraft you'll be flying will be flight 15876 probably one of the old flights . Thos would be your and flight 15876's last journey after this you both would be retired are you clear any questions. Capt.viranshu-"actually yes can we run a quick check on the plane so that no part would be left unchecked cause this is my last flight and i don't want any problem . Mr aditya -"our crew is currently working on checking the plane but ill tell them to be more precise Capt.viranshu- " thanks brother ". Mr aditya and capt.viranshu shook hand " iam gonna miss you brother " said mr aditya Capt.viranshu left gor his flight it was a grand ceremony were two water fountains were two water sprayers were ran The opposite of each other which created a gate type structue by which the aircraft went through it to the runway and took off with its wings spread in the air like a free bird (this ceremony is done when a new plane gets its first flight or an old plane or pilot gets its last flight and then retire) . Capt.viranshu-" hello dubai a really good morning " . ATC-"good morning captain the weather is quite good no stroms expected have a great flight" . Capt viranshu -" thankyou have a great day". But little did the pilots there was something waiting ahead . Capt.viranshu in cabin Capt.viranshu-"Catherine (who was one of the co.pilots of captain viranshu) could you check the pressure on the engines ". Catherine-"everything seems right wait captain we have high pressure on the plane engines the right one and the left one" Capt.viranshu -"i told them i want no problem . We are about to reach delhi airport i guss that much pressure will be fine till we reach the delhi airport ". And then suddenly the right engiene catches on fire . And the landing gear doesn't work . It was a cold and dark night the stars were shining like night lamps in the dark . It was all going well in ATC delhi mr rajesh who was one of the workers of the atc was sitting in the office having a cup of tea Mr rajesh-"just the right things i need just now " . (Sipping on his cup of tea ). Jaswant-"yes it is ". Mr rajesh-" what a silent day i wish everyday went like this". Jaswant-"yes thats true well how's your family sir Mr rajesh-" they're fine yesterday was my daughter's Birthday she was really happy when we went to her favorite water park ". Mr rajesh-" well how's your family Jaswant ". Jaswant-" they're all right haven't met them in a while ill probably take leave and meet the my wife and my daughter" Mr rajesh -"oh then you must take a leave ill make someone look after your work ". Suddenly the silence was broken by a chatter on the radio Capt.viranshu-" hello this is flight 15876 we have an engine down and our landing gear is not working over" Mr rajesh-" flight 15876 how many souls you have on board" Capt.viranshu-"we have 128 souls on board over ". Mr rajesh-" copy that " Capt.viranshu - " we need permission for emergency landing on water " (soon after the second engine blasted ) Capt.viranshu -"we have both of our engines down we are goning to crash i repet................... Mr rajesh-" flight 15876 do you copy i repeat do you copy" Capt.viranshu-" we............th.............cr...........h.... Jaswant-" sir we have lost connection " And within the blink of an eye flight 15876 crashes on atc delhi . And there was a big explosion. The next moment mr rajesh finds himself unconscious on a strecher being carried away . And then he goes in coma. Days past months passed years past . Mr rajesh opens his eye Dr nikita singh-" oh you're finally awake okay we just need some .... nurse ( shouted dr nikita ) Mr rajesh -" where sm i what's the day today who are you ". Dr nikita singh -" iam dr nikita singh and todays date is 15of april 2019 and this place is a hospital ". Mr rajesh -"(with a suprise on his face ) 2019".
