Bane clung to my wrists pinning me against the wall. His green eyes blazed with need. "I hate what you do to me." He said in a raspy low voice sending shivers down my spine. He leaned into me pressing his hard body against me.

"I want you in the worst way, and I hate that I can't control it..."

He made me feel like a little rabbit trapped between the wall and engulfed by my vulnerability, knowing he could either spare me or kill me...

Chapter 1
My heart pounded. I could hear the rush of blood drumming in my ears. I ran as fast as I could. My lungs ached from the amount of air I sucked in. I had to run faster or I would end up in his jaws. I quickly glanced behind me. He was right on my tail. I could almost feel the singeing heat of his breath. The sight of his sharp white fangs aroused a primal fear within me. Run. I couldn't even scream, no one would hear me. My legs burned, I tripped and hit my arm on a boulder. No. I scrambled to get up, but a heavy force pushed me back down. He was crushing my chest. I couldn't breathe. "Please. Let me go." I strained against his force, pushing the air out of my lungs. He snarled in my ear then bite my arm. I screamed, then punched him on the snout. He whimpered, backed away only to return with fury raging in his red eyes. "Let me go Bane! Please!" I pleaded but it only seemed to anger him more. He lunged at me, grabbed my hair with his jaws and started to drag me on the ground. "Please it hurts! Stop!" My eye's burned from the pain. I clenched my arm as he dragged me on the ground. Leaves and dirt invaded my mouth. He dragged me all the way back to the entrance of the castle. I tried to fight against his jaws clenching my hair. "I hate you! I hate you!" I screamed as I pounded my fists on his head. His growl was like thunder, a warning before the storm. He finally let go of me. I laid there in the dirt before the castle gates. I sobbed into the dirt turning it to mud. I slowly glanced up at Bane. He shifted back to his human form. His menacing forest green eyes ripped through me to my very core. He grabbed me by the throat. I struggled against his grip. "I told you before not to test me." His thick black eyebrows narrowed at me, His voice was full of spite. He let go, I fell to the ground. My chest hurt and every part of me ached. "Test me again, I dare you." His deep smokey voice growled at me. He grabbed my arm pulling me into the gates to the castle's entrance. I tried to run away again. I had tried twice now but nothing seemed to work. He always caught scent of my trail. "You never listen do you?" He said but I didn't reply. He tugged me In front of him holding my hands above my head. "Do you?!" His voice was venomous. "No." I said in a tiny voice. I didn't look at him. I held my head down. I knew what he wanted. They took me from my home. My mother, father and little brother. The smell of baked honey rolls on the window seal and my brother's annoyingly high pitched laugh. Gone. My eye's started to burn again, I wanted to cry, but not because Bane had hurt me. No. I wanted to cry, to grieve. "You are not to go near this entrance do you understand me?" He said. I nodded in reply. "Look at me." He demanded. I glanced up at his piercing eyes. The day I met him was the day my world turned upside down. "Yes." I said. He grunted in frustration and left me in the entrance. I stood up, holding my bleeding shoulder. I looked down at the puddle of muddy water that showed my reflection. You could probably mistake me for a brunette, now that he dragged me through the dirt and grim. Only one strand of my hair revealed it's true color. It shined among the muddy filth. My face was covered in dirt. My hazel eye's were the only thing that stood out. "Ewe, mamma look at the ugly moon castor." A child passing by said. "Come on, leave her on the ground were she belongs. Moon Castors belong in the dirt." She spat in reply as they walked away. My toes clenched the dirt below me. I was the only survivor of my Coven. I could still smell the burning houses filled with Moon flowers all around me. I lost everything... My heart wrenched with pain every time I thought about them. "Come moon girl. Bane wants you cleaned and dressed for tonight's celebration." My stomach turned. I thought I had timed my running away perfectly to avoid this. The 'celebration' wasn't a celebration at all...Bane and his pack were celebrating the new territory they claimed. The one they burned to the ground with no one else alive but me. My Coven's land, now apart of their growing territory. Nothing could compare to the hatred that festered in my heart. I had to survive, I wanted nothing more than to steal back the land they took from us...me. This type of loneliness was unreal. It was like I was the only shining star in the black blanket of the night. "I won't ask again." Bane's second in command growled. I slowly made my way up to him. He grabbed my wrist "Come on, I have better things to do the babysit." He pulled me into the castle whipping me around the corners until we came to the bathing room. This castle was different in some areas and this was one of them. The bathing area was a hot spring, I never knew where it came from or how they built it. Finn opened the door. A rush of hot steam filled the air. My skin was riddled with goosebumps. "Take off those filthy rags." Finn's face scrunched up in disgust. His long brown hair was tied back exposing his copper, round eyes. I took off my clothes and handed them to him. He snatched them from me and pushed me into the room then shut the door. I slowly began to step into the hot water. The burning sensation actually felt good on my skin. I let the hot water wash away all the unpleasantness of the day. I dunked myself in, washing off the dirt and grim. The hot spring had mirrors on its stone walls, which I found to be odd. I stared back at my reflection, I barely recognized the girl who had just been man handled. Well, more like wolf handled... Her eye's were the same hazel color, but cat-like shaped. She had a round face and thin, platinum blonde, arched eyebrows. Her button nose showed a hint of pink, compared to her porcelain skin. I turned away from the reflection feeling my chest tighten. I use to dress in silky flowing dresses and wore my very own, handmade perfumes. My mother would braid my hair dressing it with Moon flowers. I could still remember our wood cabin. The smell of fresh air and pine. I especially loved the smell of pine after it rained. I bite my lip, trying to hold back the lump in my throat that threatened to rip me apart. I never thought in a million years my life would end up this way. A slave to an Alpha who killed my family. I winced at the stinging sensation on my shoulder bringing that very realization to life. Before this, I was training to become the head of my Coven. Part of me wanted to just sink into the hot water and let it envelope me but the other part screamed for survival and resurrection. I was the only Moon Castor left. I would not let my family down. I turned to my reflection. It angered me to see myself like this. I could no longer hold in the festering anger that was building in the pit of my stomach. I let out a piercing scream and shattered the mirrors that surrounded me...
