What if someone went too far with revenge? So far that they couldn't go back and apologize for their mistakes. Slowly losing their ability to love or even the less have any kind of emotions. That's what happened to Erik, the king of werewolves.

"I am going to hurt you," he said calmly.

"I am going to make you bleed," he continued.

"Then I am going to let you heal," he whispered.

"And repeat the same again and again but I promise not to kill you...ever."

Prologue
The night was dreadfully cold. Thin sheets of tortuous clouds covered up the pitch-black sky, leaving the grey fog to move around freely, wrapping the dark castle in its smoky texture. Guards closed off the path to the castle, strictly forbidden to let anyone in because of the meeting that was held deep inside the old wooden walls. A small cry broke through the eerie silence. Sandra immediately looked down at her child who slowly started to burst out in tears because of the horrifying cold weather that froze her feet. However hard Sandra tried to keep her daughter warm, she only grew that much colder. A woollen sweater was wrapped around the newborn child. Initially, it was stitched for a boy but in the end a premature girl opened her eyes to the dark world of witches. She was born the day before yesterday, however, no one accepted her. She wasn't a witch or anything else, just a simple, deplorable human. She was marked as the unwanted child that was supposed to be shipped off to the orphanage in an abandoned and sluggish town somewhere in east England. But a horrific accident tore the ship into two, thousands of passengers drowned in the ice-cold sea. In time, the newborn child was saved by her mother who stood on the coast till dawn. Once she found her, she decided to run away from her family; they would either kill her child or maybe ship her again to another orphanage and she couldn't be that cruel towards her daughter once again. But who knew the meaning of cruelty. At first, she confidently carried her child through the cold weather, but she had fought with this for the past week and couldn't do so anymore. She started to feel anxious when she gazed at the castle in front of her. Her sweaty hands trembled as she pulled her child closer to her chest so she could feel the warmth from her body, but that didn't help at all. The child was violently shivering and continually thrashing her small limbs. "Shush...Thalia, I promise we will be out of here once we are done with our job." She whispered to her child. The child immediately stopped crying, instead she stared at her mother. Once Sandra noticed that Thalia was quietly looking in her eyes, she hurriedly jogged across the broken bridge, carefully making sure she didn't trip. When she reached the end of the bridge, she looked up to find herself standing in the land of werewolves but one howl took it all. Everyone sniffed the air to find the one and only scent of a witch. In minutes, the members had mindlinked the entire pack about this witch. A smile played around Sandra's cold lips when she thought about how illogical these people were. Her hands swirled around her body and in a swift second her scent was hidden. Now all she had was the scent of an unknown human she had murdered the previous night back in the deadly forest. Cheerfully, she strolled through a group of men and straight towards the golden gates of the castle. Shelter wasn't her only plan. She desired something more than protection from the cold. She craved his blood, and this was the only way to get her pale hands filled with the sweet crimson. Fake tears started to appear around her eyes. The drumming voice of heart begin to rise grabbing their attentions. Adrenaline pumped through her blood. With a few more sobs and tears she bolted towards the gate and was stopped by the guards. "Sorry, but no one can enter tonight." Both of them said together, one harsh voice overlapping the other. They both looked well built, muscles ripping through their uniforms. Both of them held enough strength to kill a witch. "But I-my daughter is dying. She won't be able to breathe in this cold anymore, her hands and feet are already freezing." She breathed. In response, they shook their heads, having no mercy for this woman or her daughter. However, when Sandra unwrapped her daughter from the thin sheets and unveiled her eyes to the cruel guards, they were lost, completely hypnotised by her sparkling blue eyes. She captured their attention in a moment by giggling and laughing in their faces. The merciless guards were easily wrapped around Thalia's little finger. A wicked smile appeared on Sandra's lips; she knew that she hadn't given birth to a normal human and she could assure that one day, the girl would be evil just like her mother. The guards easily let mother and child inside the castle, hoping they could see the little girl again, unaware that she would spend her entire life in this castle, not as a princess, but a prisoner. Sandra walked inside the old, stony castle. At first, all she could hear was a tiny creak from the wooden floor that echoed around the castle, but when she stumbled upon a young but an old man her heart flipped out of her chest. The king stood in front of her up straight with courage. Frightened, she bowed her head in submission, taking a small step back as the floor creaked with an irritating echo once again. She heaved out deep breaths, pulling her daughter closer to herself. She could hurt every being in this world but she wouldn't ever let anyone hurt her daughter. "Who are you and who the hell let you in?" Confused and shocked, the king yelled at the poor woman. His raucous and cold voice caused the child to burst out in tears. His cold character immediately changed into a soft one as he stole a glance to see the small child in the hands of the concealed women. Something was wrong but he couldn't figure it out. Instead, to get rid of this confusion, he mindlinked one of his trusted maids to come. "Alpha, you asked for me?" The maid sighed as she placed her hand on her chest trying to inhale some air. "Take her to the fire place,I will be back in a moment." The king commanded before walking away. Sandra sighed in relief. After so many years she was still afraid of him, like a cat feared a dog. "Come on." The maid said as she walked out of the room and into another one. Sandra followed her while restlessly controlling Thalia and her endless tears. Once they reached the fire place, she settled down on the brown sofa next to the fire. A few more minutes passed and the child started to cry loudly, conquering every single soul's attention. All the maids, butlers and guards started to collect around the room, trying to find out who held that beautiful voice. Tried and grumpy Erik walked out of his enormous room and towards the place where he heard her voice. He rubbed his eyes couple times before pushing everyone away, making his way to the child whose cries woke him up from his important sleep. The 12 year old boy stared at the girl in the strange woman's arms. Just like earlier, her eyes were captivating everyone's soul. He walked up to her and held his hands out. "Can I hold her?" He questioned knowing that no one ever denied the future king. Sandra glared at the boy, she couldn't give her daughter to anyone. "I promise I won't drop or hurt her." He vowed furiously. He wanted to hold her badly and by every second passing by he felt that he was going to be doubted, but finally Sandra trusted the boy and handled her daughter over him. He happily took her into his arms and jumped on the couch beside the women. For him, she weighted like nothing, but something was terribly wrong with the girl. She was shivering like a leaf. He caressed her cheeks trying to give her some warmth but it didn't work. "Why is she shivering? Tell her to stop it or else I will." Erik said as he looked at the girl's mother. "She is cold now but look in few minutes she will be fine just keep her covered." Sandra said as she fixed her daughter's sweater. Soon, she stopped shivering and was smiling and playing around with the boy. Everyone laughed when she giggled and everyone cried when she cried. Sandra was impatiently waiting for the king to be back. As the thought crossed her mind, he was standing by the door trying to figure out what was happening. "Everyone, go back to your rooms now." He ordered harshly and everyone soon left the fire place but Erik didn't move from his spot. Henry looked down at his son who was holding the child now, he was a little shocked because Erik was always disgusted by girls. "Hand the baby to her mother now because this is your sleeping time." Henry said as he kneeled down to his son and looked at the baby. Just like everyone he was captured by her blue eyes. Sandra stood up from the couch and walked to the table behind them. She grabbed a glass of water and pulled a sharp knife under her sleeves before scurrying back to the fire place, standing in front of the fire and trying to get some heat so she could control her heartbeat. "But, dad, she is pretty. I mean look at her eyes and then her skin. It's so soft and pure." Erik said, he placed his hand over her cheeks, trying to feel the smoothness of her skin whilst Henry got a little worried. He looked back to see the woman standing in front of the fire place, depressed. "Come on, go give it to Sam and go back to your room." Henry said to his son. Erik rolled his eyes and got up from the couch, he walked to the maid named Sam and handed the baby to her. Just as his hands slipped away from Thalia, she started to cry thinking about what's going to happen in the following minutes. Erik glanced at her one last time before turning around to see a horrific scene. He screamed loudly as the women stabbed a knife straight in his dad's heart, tearing it into pieces. Henry didn't make a single sound as he fell limp on the floor. Sandra looked at her hands to see his blood smeared around. A satisfying smile appeared on her lips but it didn't stay for much longer because the guards came rushing in from all sides. Her eyes widened in fear as she tried to escape them but there was no way except for the left window. She threw her knife into the wooden wall, diverting everyone's attention as she climbed up the wet window and jumped out of the castle. Within second she used a spell to cover herself up and run away from the town. Once she was deep in the forest, once she couldn't see anyone, once she couldn't hear anyone, she turned around to see the castle. She looked at her hands to see where her daughter went but she wasn't anywhere. She left her behind, she left her own daughter in middle of thousands of beasts. Back in the castle screams and cries broke down. Erik ran to his dad and placed a hand on his chest. All he felt was eerie silence. "Dad!!" He screamed one last time before falling down in his dad's arms. When he touched them, they were cold and hard as a rock. As the news spread, every single werewolf around the world was on their knees, bowing down to the one and only. The king had died after 400 years of ruling the world peacefully. As fate would have it, a few hours earlier, the king had just signed the papers to pass down his title and property to his son, Erik. When he came of age, he would be the king.
