Bill is a wizard, rainfall thrills and energizes him. Dressed in his jogging outfit, his hoodie covering his face and shedding his head from the raindrop. Then he saw her, stranded on the road. She called out to him for help. Bill was dumbstruck the moment he got closer to her. She is the most beautiful woman he had ever saw.

"Is something wrong with your car?" He asked her.

"Yes I have a flat tire." She told him, shivering from the rain

Bill looked at her closely. She's a very beautiful woman. Tall, slim and has an honey colored hair, tied in a ponytail.

He felt a tightening in his stomach and jerked himself from the erotic thought.

"Lets wait it out in the car." She told him, shaking from the coldness of the rain, her cloths wet. Bill gingerly entered the car with her. He moved in his seat as he pulled his hoodie tighter to hide his glowing white eye. They touched as she tried to switch on the car light and he felt an electric tingly sensation from where they touched.

Not thinking straight, he pulled her in his arms and kissed her lips passionately, thrusting his tongue in her mouth claiming her. She was shocked by his action, about to push him away. He's a stranger. She thought. To her surprise, a moan escaped her mouth and she kissed him feeling dazed from desire. She loves the feel of his lips on her, seeking, pleasing and pleasuring.

She opened her mouth wider to give him access

"Ouch..." She moaned louder, moving deeper in his arms.

A loud moan erupted from the stranger's mouth which made her wanted more of him. But before she could explore his broad chest, he suddenly pulled away from her....

Prologue: The Awakening
Bill Connor left the window and walked farther into the room. Tired of the thoughts that kept his mind in a fuss, Bill sat on the couch. Though restless, a thrill of excitement shot through his body from thinking of her. He combed his fingers through his hair and sighed aloud as he thought back to the day he met her. “I will never forget that day.” It was a year after returning from business school. It was on a rainy day; he remembered, it was like yesterday. She is the only woman that makes his heart skip a beat, the woman of his dream. He met Kathleen Hoffman while jogging in the rain 10 years ago. It was a day he would never forget. Bill sank deeper in the couch as he thought of the passionate kiss they shared on that day, the day he met and lost her. It was shocking when he saw her with his younger brother, a few minutes later, after their passionate kiss. Bill closed his eyes as the pain of seeing her with his brother brought back a bitter memory. He can’t forget how all his hope dashed away. He had wished to see her again and claim her but all his expectations to claim her seeped out of him the same day he met her. “Why did you have to come to my life just to leave immediately?” Bill remembered the day he discovered Kathleen is his brother’s girlfriend. It saddened him and he knew he didn’t have a chance with her. “How can I let you know I was the one you kissed on that rainy day?” When Bill walked into the room and saw Kathleen Hoffman wrapped in the arms of his brother, he froze. He peered closer to see if his eyes weren’t playing tricks on him. Upon confirming it was the woman he met and kissed in the rain, Bill’s heart skipped a beat and he felt dazed. Walking closer to where she stood, Bill remembered how she looked at him, it was as if she had never met him before. She didn’t even spare him a second glance as she chatted away with his brother. "I almost had an heartache since the incident!" "It causes me heartbreak till this very moment." Bill never blames Kathleen for how she treated him because he knew it wasn’t her fault but his. “I wish you recognize me, Kathleen.” “How I wish...” That day, Bill’s heart shattered into a million pieces, he couldn’t bear seeing Kathleen with his brother. Though, it was tough to leave home again; he left for abroad and didn’t look back for ten years. Ten years of loneliness and heartbreak but the thought of losing her to his brother drove him away. Bill couldn’t handle the pain and suffering he felt being close to her but couldn’t touch her. He couldn’t handle his unstable state of mind. His restlessness and his sense of loss broke him and made his powers unstable. Thinking back, he missed his family and friends when he left home. 10 years later Bill came back to town matured, and experienced. Now, he could control his powers. His love for her brought him back home after 10 years of hurting. 10 years of learning how to control his powerful magic so it wouldn’t hurt anyone around him. He is ready to claim the woman of his dream. Ten years of waiting, wanting, desiring, and loneliness had taught him to be strong. Bill thought, his silence filled the room like a fog in the field. The thought of Kathleen Hoffman rushed back to his mind and caused his heart to skip a beat. He ache for her again. ************** It all started when he was eight years old, the day Bill became a powerful wizard. He's the third son in Connor’s family. When his grandfather died, the power awakened in him shocks his family. The enormous amount of power that oozes from Bill dazed everyone. As strong as his grandfather Elijah Connor, the most powerful wizard in his time died, he awakened. Elijah’s death meant passing his power to either his son or any of his grandsons. .The afternoon Elijah Connor gave up the ghost, Bill was eight years old, a cheerful boy loved by everyone. They chose him because of his pure heart. That day, Bill and his brothers were playing in the garden. In split a second, the weather changed from the warm sunny afternoon. Without warning, it turned to a hot weather, excruciating and intense. It looks as if the sun itself had cracked down upon the face of the earth. The intense burning heat affected the slim body of Bill. He shook with convulsion while his body glimmers with unexpected, strange water. Bill shook from the intense power that took over his body and couldn't control himself. At that moment, his powers awakened in him, and with his awakening, a star formed on the right- side of Bill’s chest. It is a symbol of his awakening into a dominant power. After a moment of silence, a golden yellow light like fire enveloped Bill. It illuminated and caused all the surrounding light around him to combust. He remained the sole light that illuminated the place. Frightened, his brothers stared. They were in shock as they looked on. Unable to see in the glowing light, they closed their eyes to shut out the blinding light. No one could withstand the light and no one could look at what was going on around them. “What the heck is that noise?” Victoria Connor looked out through the thin window curtain. Shocked by the happenings in the garden, the bowl in her hand fell from her hands. She rushed out of the kitchen to the living room. Outside, she met Andrew who also heard the commotion outside the house. “Did you hear that, dear?” At moment, another loud sound shook the house. The two of them rushed out to see what happened. As stepped out the back door, they witness their son floating in midair. "Holy crab!" "What the heck is happening?" Bill kept midair as if he was sleeping on his bed. His hairs stood on his head, and light flowed through him. It glow around him like a fluorescent. Andrew Connor stopped in his track. As he stared, he fell on his knees, and a loud sob escaped his mouth. “He’s gone...” “He’s gone.” He muttered, repeating the words, and hot tears flowed from his eyes. He wept like a child. Victoria Connor went closer to her husband’s side, she placed her hand on his shoulder and comforted him. “Calm down Andrew.” “Everything is going to be okay.” “No Victoria, everything isn’t alright.” Victoria looked at her husband for a second and sensed his pain. Short of words at what was happening around them, she moved closer to Andrew and embraced him. She needed to be strong for her family. “For now, we have a son to think of, Andrew.” "Please, pull yourself together." She told him and went silent for a moment but after awhile, she spoke again. “What do we do about Bill dear?” Andrew looked into her eyes. Still in shock of what happened to his son, his eyes glittered with unshed tears, he looked on, not seeing her. He felt lost and helpless at that moment. Andrew knew this day would come, but dreaded the thought of what would happen when his dad passed on. He never prepared himself for what would happen because he never prays for his dad to die. “He’s dead, Victoria,” he muttered with a sad look on his face. Victoria sank on the ground beside her husband, still holding his shoulder. She looked from her husband to her son. Bill lay unconscious midair. The surrounding light changes color as it illuminated round him in a globe-like shape. “Will my baby ever be the same again?” At the thought of her children, she remembered her other children. She panicked, and searched the intense glowing light for her children. After searching for a while, she spotted them huddled together in a corner in the garden. Victoria searched Andrew’s face to be sure he was fine, then rushed to where her children were to hug them. “It’s okay dear. Bill will be fine.” Immediately, Derrick her youngest son cried, and fell onon her arms. She held him closer to comfort him. Several minutes later, the light around Bill vanished and lowered him on the grass as though he was on his bed. Everyone rushed to his side, forgetting the strangeness of what happened to him. After making sure he is fine, Andrew shook him to wake him up. “Are you all right, Bill?” “Stand up dear. Are you ok?” Bill stirred and turned to the other side to face away from them, he wanted to go back to sleep. It was as though nothing happened to him. “Oh, leave me. I want to sleep.” After a moment of stillness, he rolled to their side. He adjusted himself to go back to sleep when he saw the eyes on him. He popped open his eyelids. Wide-eyed, he sat up, shocked at the surrounding mess, then stared at his brothers in annoyance. “You pranked me?” “What am I doing on the floor?” He shouted, and rose on his feet, about to chase after his brothers when their laughter stopped him. They laughed at him for the lost look on his face. “How could you think what happened to you was a prank?” Ricky stared at him, amazed Bill remembered nothing. This angered Bill who thought his brothers pranked him. It annoyed him more when they laughed at his face. At that point, he felt a wave of anger and desire to rip his brothers apart. His anger grew and he couldn’t control himself. Immediately, his eyes changed to white and fireballs shot out of his hands as he pursued his brothers. "What!" As soon as the fire shot out of his hands, Bill stopped in his track and gazed at his hands. Then he looked up to search the faces of his brothers who hid behind their mother. “Who did this to me?” “What is this?” Bill asked as he searched his brothers’ faces. At that moment, his anger rose again, and he felt a rush of furious fire that forced itself to burst out of him. Victoria’s scream jolted him. It shook him out of the powerful aura and feelings that overtook him. The feelings disappeared and left him empty. Tired, he slumped to the ground. Moving fast before he could hit the ground, Andrew caught his son in his arms and carried him inside the house. Victoria and the rest of the family trotted along. As soon as they entered the house, they heard the deafening sound of the telephone. Victoria rushed to pick it up, before she could answer the call, Bill stirred in his father’s arms and raised his head up. He looked towards where his mother stood, the telephone cord in her right hand, and grinned. “Tell gramma hello mom.” “And, I love her.” As soon as he said the words, he fell back in his father’s arms and dozed off. Wide-eyed, Victoria answered the call. She knew before she answered the call who the caller was. “Hello, Rose.” “How are you doing?” She held her breath and answered the call and waited. A long silence filled the room as she waited for a response in the other end of the line. After a while, Victoria heard a tiny sob from the other end of the line and prepared herself for what to come. “He’s dead Vicky. Elijah has died.” Rose Connor sob intensified. Victoria felt shattered and sorry for her mother-in-law. She has always envied the love and affection her parents- in- law shared. The two of them were happily in love with each other, Victoria knew it would be tough on the kind-hearted woman. “Am so sorry Rose, please accept our condolences.” “We would have called you earlier when we knew but we have our hands full over here.” “Bill inherited Elijah’s gift, Rose!” Victoria’s voice shook with tremor as she spoke to her mother-in-law. Rose sighed and was quiet for a while, she understood immediately what Victoria meant. Though happy with the choice of the moon goddess, her heart aches for the little boy. She knows of the great power he now has. "Oh, my boy!" "He's awakened into a mighty power!" Her thoughts were awry as she thought of how the boy would handle the power, bigger than him. Rose finally spoke, her voice held a strength that amazed Victoria. “Bill! I knew there was more to the boy.” “I thought it would be Andrew.” “Exactly my thought Rose.” “Bill is still a child!" "He's just eight years old!" "How would he handle so much power?” Rose was silent, and a long sigh filled the line as the older woman thought the matter over in her head. “He would be alright Victoria. But he would need you all right now.” “He needs all the support and care to see him through this,” Rose added. “Please make sure you give him a lot of water to drink and make him shower at every interval to calm him.” “I will fly to New York as soon as I can to help guide him on how he can control his abilities.” Rose kept rambling on until his son collected the phone from Victoria’s hand and spoke to his mom. “Hey, mom.” “How are you holding up?” Andrew asked, his voice cracked a little, but he tried to be strong for his mother. “Stay put mom. I will come over first thing in the morning to oversee important matters.” “Also, I would like to be by your side at this moment.” “You need us more than we need you right now.” He finished his words, and tears seeped down his cheeks. Andrew’s voice shook as he said his goodbyes and hung up. After replacing the receiver, Andrew carried his son on the couch. He walked up the stairs to Bill's bedroom.
