Female Alpha

I was just turned 14 when my parents died. A rival pack attacked us during a packparty and killed almost everybody. with a very small number of pack members I had to step in, and fulfilled my duties. As the youngest alpha during that time, I had a lot to learn. We had to win a lot of fights to gain some status again, but now, at 18 i already had achieved a higher status for my pack than my parents ever had achieved.    I was standing on the porch when i saw Taylor, my beta. “Taylor” I shouted.  Taylor quickly turned over to me and walked up on the porch. “Yes Alpha?” He looked at me with an inquiring look.  “Did you and the warriors check the border today? I have a feeling somebody is going to trespass today…” I look at him with worries in my eyes.  It's been a tough year. Rogers from all the world have been trying to take over the pack the past years. They think that we’re a easy target, because i'm a young female Alpha.  Taylor looked at me and answered: “We checked this morning, but we can go again if you want us to?” I gave him a little nod, and turned around to walk in to the house.    One hour later, Taylor and a bunch of my warriors dragged a female rouger in front of the house, but I had already smelled her, when she passed the borders. I quick walked out of the house and down to where they were holding the woman.  She was beaten up, but i could smell that it wasn't my men who did it. Taylor broke the silence: “She surrendered immediately when we found here, Alpha.”  I came closer to the woman laying in the grass, but still ready to fight at any moment. It could easily be a trick from one of the rival packs. It wouldn't surprise her, if someone send this woman to kill her. It would be the perfect disguise. But as I came closer she started to open her mouth trying to say something. I bended over to get my ear closer to her mouth.  “Are you the Alpha of the Moonlight pack, Everline Van Barclay?” she whispered.  I looked at her with suspicion in my eyes. “Yes, that’s me” “Would really like to join your pack” as she said the last word, she passed out.  I looked at Taylor. “Call Ginny and tell her to give her a shower. Just put her in the guest room on the first floor, and have two warriors watch her. When she wakes up, call me”    Ginny was Taylors mate. Both of them were 6 years older than me. Taylor was the son of my fathers beta, and was ordered to protect me during the attack that killed my parents. He and some other warriors took me to a tree cabin up in the mountain behind our packhouse. Ginny was hiding with some of the other more ordinary pack members further down the mountain.  I was lucky that they survived. Taylor became like a big brother, and he helped me learn how to act like a proper Alpha.    I was sitting behind my desk doing some paperwork, when I heard Taylor call in my head. I Walked upstairs and into the room where I asked Taylor to put the woman. She looked very different without all the blood in her face. She still had some bruises, but she looked a lot better. She looked at me with big eyes as i walked closer to the bed.  “Alpha” she stuttered looking down in a respectful bow.   “what’s your name rouger?” i asked looking down at her with narrow eyes.  “Tori, Alpha” she answered still looking down.  “What are you doing here, who send you?” I commanded to know as I walked even closer. I could feel the Alpha aura filling the room, making everybody unconsciously bow their heads “I came here because I no longer belong in a pack. My father betrayed the Alpha in our pack. The Alpha then killed my entire family. I was the only one who succeeded escaping. I came to you because i´w heard so many stories about the only female Alpha” She looked cautiously at me. “They say that your pack is amongst the strongest in American, some even say worldwide.”  I gave her a little smile. The past years really made us stronger. People from all over the world would come here to join my pack. I just had to sort out who were bad people and who were good.  “do you have any special skills?” I asked.  “I’m a good cook” she answered with eagerness in her eyes. “I used to cook all the meals in my old pack”  “Hmmm” I looked at Taylor, who gave me a small nod, indicating that he saw her as genuine person.  I turned around to look at the woman. “I guess Magda our pack cook could use an extra hand. Welcome to the pack Tori. You can stay in this room until you feel well, then Ginny will show you to your new house.” I gave her a warm smile, and walked out the door, down to the office to continue my paperwork. at me. “They say that your pack is amongst the strongest in American, some even say worldwide.”  I gave her a little smile. I could talk to her about everything.  We were sitting on the porch talking and drinking coffee, when a black SUV entered the borders. I jumped up mind calling Taylor, who then 10 seconds later stood by my side. We slowly walked down the porch together as the SUV came closer to the house. The car stopped and a man in a suit stepped out of the car. I quickly sniffed the air to find out if he came form a pack i knew. Quickly I realised that he came from the Royal Pack.  The Royal pack was one of the strongest packs in the world, if not the strongest.  The man came closer, and I could feel Taylor body getting stiff next to me. The man took out an envelope and gave it to me.  "Alpha George Royal, and his pack The Royal Pack, would like to invite you to the annual ball." I looked surprised at him, as he turned around and entered the car again. I looked at Taylor as the car drove away.  "I guess the know that I turned 18" I looked at him and laughed.  I remember my parents going to this ball. My mom alway looked so beautiful in her long ball gowns. I opened the envelope and looked at the formal invite. In 2 weeks I would be in a room full of Alphas and Lunas from all over the world.
