Her Mate, His Luna

*Aliane's pov* I wake up to the hunger I feel; I am so hungry it's not even funny, but this is what I get for sleeping in till 12 O'clock.  I quickly get out of bed and decide to shower. I quickly wash my hair and body before spending a few minutes standing under the hot water. When I get out, I dry my body and then start to dry my long curly black hair. It reaches my waist, which is something I'm very proud of. I spent a lot of time growing out my hair. When I am done with my hair, I look in the mirror, and I stare at my reflection.  I'm 5'3, which is short, I know, but I pull it off because I have big emerald green eyes with long curly black hair and a  soft oval face. I have caramel skin and big full lips. I have an hourglass figure. In high school, I got a lot of attention from all of the guys because of my body, but I was and still am saving myself for my mate, so I would always brush them off. At the thought of a mate, my wolf started to howl and get excited. I got my wolf on my 16th birthday, that's when everyone gets their wolf, but you won't sense your mate until your 18. I haven't found my Mate yet, and it makes me sad, but I know he is out there. My older brother Kyne found his mate Reva last year when he was 20, so I have hope that I will find my mate even if it takes a while.  I go to my closet, get dressed in joggers and a hoodie, and go down for breakfast. When I get to the kitchen, I hear my mom barking orders at everyone. She was setting up for my birthday party tonight.  My mother used to be the Luna of the Blood Moon pack and my dad the alpha, but they stepped down three years ago when my brother turned 18, and he is now the alpha, and his mate is the luna. Everyone still respected my mother, though, and they were all too scared to tell her she was going overboard for this party. Then all of a sudden, I was snapped out of my thoughts by my mother... " Good morning Aliane!" "Good morning, mom."  "Hurry up and eat your breakfast, honey. I need to get you ready." "Alright ill be up in my room in 20 minutes. I'll meet you up there." I went to my spot at our dining table. My seat is right next to the luna on the table's right side, two seats away from the Alpha. Packs rely heavily on rank, and we all have to sit in places based on our rank. One of the Omegas came to bring me my breakfast; my plate was stacked to the brim. It had everything. It had turkey bacon, biscuits, eggs, sausage, pancakes, strawberries, blueberries, and a glass of sweet tea. Werewolves are constantly hungry and have a huge appetite, so I'm stuffing my face with all of this food. I eat like one of the males in my pack, which no one typically expects because I'm super small and skinny. I thank my werewolf genes and training for that. After about ten minutes, my food is completely gone, and I'm not hungry anymore, thankfully. An Omega came to take my plate. I thanked her before leaving the dining room. It's already almost one when I am about to head upstairs, which will definitely scare my mother. She seems to think I need seven hours for hair and makeup. I walked up to the top floor, which is the alphas family quarters. My brother and Reva live up here with me. My parents used to, but they moved to their own cabin on pack lands when they stepped down from their position. No one else is allowed to have quarters on this floor. Since this is the packhouse, my brother's Beta, Gamma, Delta, and Head Warrior's rooms are on the floor underneath us, and then the second and half of the first floor are for the rest of our pack. Not everyone lives in the packhouse, though. We have a village on our land that contains stores and cabins for the pack. We are the second-largest pack. We have a little over 430 wolves. The Lunar Moon Pack has the biggest pack, which has 600 wolves.      Once I reached my room, I saw my mom and sister-in-law Reva in there already set up. They had makeup out, three outfits, and hair products, and they had some other lady in there who looked like she does nails. I know she is from the pack, but I don't know her name. When I walked further into the room, both Reva and my mom ran to me and dragged me to my vanity chair.  " I am going to do your hair. Do you want it up or down?" Reva said " I would like it down, please, Reva," I said  "Aliane, close your eyes so I can do your make up." My mother said. I closed my eyes, and for the next three hours, I sat in the chair, and we all talked. While Reva was doing my hair, and my mother was doing my makeup, the nail artist, a pack member, Ella, did my nails. When they were done, I was so excited to get up and look finally, but they wouldn't let me look until I got my outfit on. I looked at my three choices. The first one was a floor-length body-fitting black dress. It was paired with an emerald neckless and black heels. The second outfit was an emerald green dress that stops just above the knees with simple diamond neckless earrings and silver heels. The third option was a white body-fitting floor-length dress with matching white heels and another simple diamond neckless inlaced with gold. I choose the second one. I went to get a dress, and when I came out of the bathroom, my mom started crying at the sight of me.  "Oh baby, your just so beautiful," she said, and Reva nodded in agreement holding back tears of her own. I went over to hug them.  "Thank you guys," I whispered in their ears.  Then I turned around and walked to the mirror. I gasp when I saw my reflection, I was stunning. The dress matched my eyes and made my skin-pop; the heels made me look taller, so now I was around 5'7, definitely different from my normal 5'3 hight. The neckless made me pop a little bit more as well. I had my makeup done really cute I had nude lipstick and brown eyeshadow done up into a smoky eye. If my mate wasn't here tonight, then he was really gonna miss out. At that thought, my wolf became restless and excited again. I really didn't know what was up with her today. She has been strange all day.  I turned around after my mom pulled me from my thoughts.  "What do you think, baby girl?"  "It's amazing. I can't even recognize myself. Thank you guys, you're amazing!" I said to the three of them. They were ready already somehow. I guess they got ready when I was changing. "Come on now the party has started," my mom said This shocked me because just a second ago it was 3:30, so I looked at my clock, and sure enough, it was 6' Oclock. So I just looked over at my mom and nodded. Then they walked off. I took a look at the mirror one last time and smiled; then I took a deep breath and went to exit my room.      Then my wolf begins to howl and chant.  "Mate, Mate, Mate" I stood there shocked  "What do you mean, mate? Is he here?"  "Mate, Mate, Mate" I opened my bedroom door, and then the scent of cinnamon and pine trees in a foggy morning hit me; it smelled so good. I started to fast walk down the stairs, and I could feel Brea taking over. I pushed her down, and when I finally got to the bottom of the steps, the scent was stronger.
