My mom used to say "Love is like the wind, you can't see it but you can feel it.”

"Miss Gonzalez?" He said

I snapped out of my thoughts

"Are you listening" he said

"Yes I am" I said

"Oh you're here I have been looking everywhere for you , your parents just left" The principle said

"Oh Liam your here too, Miss Gonzalez this is Liam Mendoza he is our valedictorian and he will be showing you around”

“Really?" he asked

“Yes

Thanks Liam. okay I will leave you two" The principal said as she walked out

I looked at him

"Please call me Rhea" I said

"Okay" He asked

"This is our music room I guess you already know that" he said

"I think you will like this room more given that you know how to play the piano"

I smiled

he remembered

"Yeah I guess" I said

"You don't seem happy about it" he said

"Not really, I am happy" I said

"Do you often fake smiles?" He asked

How did he know

I looked at him

"Well my dad said "you will see a sparkle in the eyes that you don't get with a fake smile"

and your eye didn't sparkle" he said

"That sounds like a cartoon, especially when they see someone or something they like"I said

We both laughed

I felt good, it was nice to actually know someone who knows when your smile is real or fake

The bell rang

"We should get to class"he said

As we made our way down to the classroom,we passed through several classes the students started whispering to each other and I felt uncomfortable

"Why is everyone staring and whispering?"I asked

"Well what do you expect Miss Gonzalez is at our school, they will always have something to say"he said

I smiled

"Wow your smile was real this time" he said

"Really, so did my eyes sparkle?"

"Of course it did "

We both laughed

I was getting along with him

"Miss Gonzalez welcome" A teacher said

"Liam thanks for showing her around "

"Your welcome"

He turned to me and said

"See you in class "

Then he winked

I felt butterflies in my tummy and goosebumps everywhere on my skin

"Welcome miss Gonzalez to Cyprus academy"

My name is Miss Gloria Santos and you can call me miss Santos, come let's go in"

As I walked into the class everywhere became quiet

They were all staring at me

"Everybody let's welcome miss Rhea Gonzalez"

And then everybody said

"YOU'RE WELCOME MISS GONZALEZ"

I felt nervous

"Okay good job everyone, Chloe move to the back, let rhea sit in front so she can catch up"

"Okay miss Santos"

I sat down and I could feel everybody's eyes fixed on me but I was happy because I was in a real school

I was so nervous that I didn't realize that Liam was sitting beside me

"Okay everyone open your books to page 56, Liam share your book with Rhea"

"Okay ma'am"

"Here you go, if you can't catch up I can tutor if you like"

I smiled

"Yeah I would love that, thanks"

"Did you see the way she was all of her him"

"What do you mean?" who?

"Aren't you seeing it?" Miss Gonzalez obviously"

"Be quiet she's listening"

"Oh sorry Hennessy I didn't know you were listening"

"Whatever, I'm not into Liam anymore so she can do whatever she wants and stop talking trash"

It was a long period but, I got to share a book with Liam Mendoza and I think I have a crush on him.

Ring Ring

"Oh here goes the bell"

"All right students see you in our next class and make sure to submit your class work tomorrow morning"

"YES MISS SANTOS"

"So how was your class? Did you enjoy it ?” Liam asked

"Yes I did thanks for asking "I said

"HIIIIIIIIII Miss Gonzalez is an honor to meet you " my name is Chloe with a k, my father owns the de la Rosa company and I know your dad, he is a huge deal and my dad attended his birthday party and it was epic. How does it feel to be the chairman’s daughter?”

My dad is the chairman of almost all the companies, the companies are like branches of his own company, like the de la Rosa company is a branch of the Gonzalez company and I was lucky to be adopted by them.

"well normal I guess "I said

"Oh my god, can we be friends?" she said

"Yes of course "I said

"Why do you look so stiff? come on loosen up and enjoy the school, your acting as if it's your first time in a school"

I looked at her and then she got the hint it was my first time in a real school

"Oh my world" she said

"It is your first time in a real school, well you're in luck I don't have much friends because everyone thinks I am super active"

Yeah they were all right she was super super active

"Of course you are kind of super active but I like it, you get to show me around and you're my first friend oh I mean second"

"Second tsk tsk tsk who is the first?"

"I am the first "Liam said

"Khloe what are you doing there?"

"CJ come over here quickly"

"Miss Gonzalez meet CJ as in Christopher de la Cruz"

"hi I'm CJ it's nice meeting you miss Gonzalez"

"Hi Christopher, please don't call me miss Gonzalez, call me Rhea

"Okay rhea we are going to have a lot of fun"

I have a new friend, Khloe and Christopher, I like them a lot we talked throughout our recess and I got to know more about them, Christopher's mother owns a fashion line and Khloe's father owns a company and she is going to take over and we are the same age, 17 years

"OH MY GOD THE BOYZ ARE HERE!!!!!"

A girl shouted and everybody run out of their classes I was confused what's going on

“Omg it's the boyz" KHLOE SAID

"The boys "I said

"Yes Rhea, the three boyz" Christopher said

I looked over to Liam, he was resting his head, he didn't seem impressed about the boyz, I wondered why so I tapped him

"Who are the boyz?"I asked

"If you want to know go and see for yourself" Liam said

He sounded cold as if he didn't want anything to do with the boyz

"Come on rhea let's go "Khloe said

"Yeah come on I'm losing patience "Christopher said

I stood up and khloe pulled my hand, I looked back at Liam he was still resting his head, I felt concerned why isn't he interested in the boyz, did something happen I mean everybody both male and female are interested so why isn't he

We ran downstairs only to see three boys

"Omg guys Levi, Israel and Raphael they look so pretty"khloe said

“Levi father is working together with your dad so he is a huge deal too” CJ said

I didn't say anything, I watched as everyone was screaming, girls were blushing, It felt like they were in a boy band and the name of the boy band was the boyz, I didn't find anything Amusing about them I wasn't even focusing on them my mind was all of Liam

"hi Levi"

A girl approach him, her hair was dark and she braided it, she was on glasses and she had braces, she was pretty

"I got this for you"she said as she look down

Everybody became quiet, judging from their looks they did not like what was happening and it felt like they knew what was coming next

"what is this "Levi said

"It's it's a carrot cookie I I heard that carrot cake and and anything with carrots in it is your favorite" she stuttered

"hahahahahahahahah"he laughed

I asked myself why was he laughing someone did something so sweet for him and his laughing what a jerk

"Do you think I will accept this "he said rudely

"I I thought you would like it that's that's that's why I baked it"she stuttered

Before I could blink he picked up the cookie and crushed it in front of her and sprinkled the crumbs on her head

I thought it was wrong, I didn't like what I was seeing but everybody started laughing, this is bullying, I turned over to khloe and Christopher they were laughing.

"Khloe, Christopher why do you guys laughing? "

"I'm sorry Rhea, it is just funny"khloe said

"But it is wrong"I said

"But that's all we can do in as much as we want to stop him, we can't"

"and why is that?" I asked

"Levi's father is also the owner of this school, he built the school, Levi can take us out any time, if we wrong him then we're gone that's how powerful he is, this school is not under your father’s achievement Rhea in as much as Levi’s parents work together with yours this school is off limits to your father” Khloe said

"Yes Rhea "Christopher said

It didn't feel right, I had to act. I was about walking up to where Levi poured the cramps all over the girls head but khloe and Christopher stop me

"Oh my god Rhea where are you going come back, stop it you do not want to get on the wrong side of Levi"khloe said

"It doesn't matter whatever he's doing right now is called bullying and bullying is wrong and everyone in the school knows that but they still let him do whatever he wants"

"There's nothing we can do rhea like I said his father is the owner of this school Levi is not to be played with or joked with"

I didn't care about what she said I walked up to him and everybody's eyes were on me the whole school became quiet

I picked up the crumbs of cookies that he had he had crushed and sprinkled on a girl's head and I poured it on his face the whole school couldn't believe the eye

"what is she's doing oh my god"

"oh no she's a goner"

They all whispered and I Looked at him

"What do you think you're doing she baked you a cookie and all you could do is smash the cookie and sprinkle it on top of her head isn't that uncalled for"

He laughed as he was cleaning the crumbs of his face. why is he laughing, what he did was wrong, didn't he know that,where are the teachers why aren't they doing anything about this, is this school really like this

"Look here princess you should stay out of my way unless you want to get in trouble I can see your new here whatever your name is don't ever try this again"

Did he just threaten me who does he think he

"I'm not a princess who do you think you are, going around bullying students" I said

"Looks like you don't know who your messing with "Israel said

"And who am I messing with oh I'm sorry your father is the owner of the school I get that but imagine if your father knew you were bullying students isn't that bad for your father's reputation"I said

But the three of them Levi Israel and Raphael they started laughing and everybody joined them

"Aren’t you a fool what do you think you are, you are just a parasite so tell me who are you again, what's your name, where did you come from fill me in please"levi said

"Did you just call me a parasite?"I said

"yes I did you're not only your parasite but let me see what do you look like um"

He started snapping his fingers to remember what he wanted to say

"oh right I remember a b****"

"WHAT!! DID YOU JUST SAY?

"I said a b****"

I was so angry that I slapped him so hard that I could see my hand prints on his face

Everybody in the school gasped

"Oh my god what did she just do"

"he is going to kill her"

They all whispered to themselves

“You have no right to call me a b****, I was trying to keep my cool because our parents work together” I said

"What did you just do"Raphael said

"I slapped him is anything wrong with that "I said

"ooooooohhhh you're in big trouble now "Israel said

Levi who was still recovering from the slap, I think he was shocked he turned and he looked into my eyes, his eyes filled with rage as he looked at me, he raised his hand to hit me back and I shot my eye tight but after a second I didn't feel anything, I thought a slap supposed to take less than a second, I open my eyes and I saw Liam holding levi hands was he protecting me, I thought he wasn't concerned about them what is he doing here

"That's enough Levi" Liam said still holding Levi's hand.
