Everything was going downhill in Princess Venus Adelaide Fedora's life until she didn’t realize that she met her own demise.

She suddenly woke up and realized that she was back to the day when she was already married to her childhood best friend, who was involved in her death in her past life.

Princess Venus was confused since she had seen her own death right in front of her, but with the knowledge of her past experience, she was very sure that she wouldn’t pick the same path that she had taken to avoid her death and escape her marriage.

Along the way of choosing her new path, she met someone whom she never thought was part of the fallen kingdom where powerful warriors keep a highly dangerous secret: The bloodline of werewolves.

Chapter One - Reincarnated
“P-Please, don’t do this, just let me go,” Princess Venus was pleading with her knees on the ground, the sky was raging as if it was listening to the invisible raging voices of her heart.   She was forced to come here just to be tied to a tree, her gown was wet and filled with dirt and she could tell how horrible she looks right now even without a mirror to look at.   Princess Venus doesn’t know where to feel frustrated, the fact that her husband cheated on her, the way his mother mistreated her, her lady in waiting died, and now she’s probably going to meet her demise.   She had enough, she had received so much torment already that all she could think about was pleading to let her go.   Princess Marie Alicia mischievously laughed before kissing her husband intensely, who was standing right beside her, watching her as if she was nothing to him.   He responded to her with the same intensity and felt that her heart was too broken enough to burst out any more tears.   “What did I ever do to you two? What did I do to deserve this treatment?” She solemnly whispered, to which those two heard.   “You did nothing but think that you’re superior to everyone and just so you know? Prince Louis has been mine from the very beginning until you stepped in and took him away from me,” Marie Alicia hissed.   “Now that you lost everything, it would be best if you would just disappear, Princess Venus,” She sniggered.   These two were her childhood best friends and now they’re nothing but traitors to her, or better yet, pieces of trash piling up inside of this secluded forest with her.   She took one last glance at the gray skies and thought that if she had a chance to renew things all over again, she would gladly do it.   But that doesn’t happen here. This is reality, and her reality is to meet her demise by seeing the last two people who ruined her life.   “Till we see you again at your funeral, Princess Venus,” After Marie Alicia said those words, she stabbed a dagger into her chest and everything went blank.   She never thought that death would be that peaceful, it was silent as the only thing that she was hearing was the sound of dripping water somewhere.   Venus slowly opened her eyes and gasped after noticing that she was inside an empty place filled with silver sparkles. Aside from that, there was this huge mirror in the center that had gold metal embroidered on its corners.   It was glowing immensely as if it was asking her to enter that mirror, “W-What’s this all about? Is there where the next life takes me?” She thought before biting her lower lip.   She thought that after death, all of the memories she had of her past would be forgotten, but she was obviously wrong about that.   Venus clearly remembers everything, her pain, her trauma, her grief, and all of the sufferings she experienced after she married the man whom she loved.   She shook her head and tried to calm her mind, “At least everything is over here,” Venus whispered before entering the mirror as it immensely glowed.   A whirring sound reverberated throughout the surroundings as the sound of the ringing bells and cheers of numerous people were the only thing she heard that made her confused.   “What was that?” She curiously asked herself before opening her eyes and was astounded upon realizing where she was.   Princess Venus glanced around the corners of that specific royal church, the place she chose herself since women only get married once and she wanted everything to be grand.   All of the people she cared about were there; her parents, the king, and queen of the Kingdom Rose, and her lady in waiting, who looked so genuinely happy for her.   It was the day she got married to Prince Louis James Alberta, the heir of the Kingdom of Peony, and her husband from that day forward.   She looked at herself and realized that it was the exact wedding gown that she asked the finest tailors to make just for her on this special day back then when she was still…alive.   “Thank you, everyone!” That familiar voice was to be heard at her side. She slowly turned her head and there he was, the man whom she loved and also the one who planned her death.   She slowly backed away from him, which he noticed, so he gently turned his head at her before reaching out to her hands.   “Princess Venus, my wife, is everything alright? You look rather pale,” He worriedly asked, so she couldn’t believe what she was seeing and hearing.   “W-What date is it today?” She confusingly asked. A lot was going on in her mind, numerous questions that she wanted to be answered, but thankfully, she blurted that question out.   He amusingly laughed before kissing her forehead, “It’s the 18th of May 1982, the day we’re finally married, my beautiful wife,” Prince Louis sounded joyous while saying those words.   Princess Venus' eyes widened. Was she really back on the day that she was married? Why and how?    She didn't understand what was going on, but she just decided to go with the flow, “Are you certain that you’re really alright?” Prince Louis worriedly asked, so she flinched before nodding at him.   “Y-Yes, yes, of course, why wouldn't I be?” She pretended to smile, but deep inside she wanted to scream and run away from him.   But that is not any way to act like a princess and the new bride of one of the influential kingdoms around Flora.   ‘Venus, you have to stay calm,’ She reassured herself inside of her mind even though she was on the verge of vomiting.   She decided to go along with everything. She distinctly remembered what happened that day. How could she forget?   Venus was the most envied woman because she got to marry the man that she loved. No arranged marriages, it was just the two of them who decided to choose their fate.   Unfortunately, that didn’t go well in her past. This time, she wanted to make sure that nothing would happen the same way as before.   The party was almost over and she was sure that both she and Prince Louis would descend to their chambers to spend more time with each other and, of course, make love.   She also remembered what happened that night. It was a hot, new arousing experience for her as she witnessed how Prince Louis worshiped her body as if he was madly in love with her.   If she was the same person back then, she would fall even deeper for him. Venus would do anything for him.   But things are different now and whatever happens, she won’t be sleeping with this cheater, pretender, gaslighting, and egotistic prince.   “Excuse me, Princess Venus, are you alright?” She flinched after hearing that sweet voice, that voice was from the only woman who stood beside her even after death.   “H-Hanna,” She called out as she felt that she was tearing up. Despite that everyone was having fun, she was the only one who noticed that something was wrong.   She was not with Prince Louis because he was busy interacting with other dukes and nobles from the other kingdoms during their reception. Back then, she was just enduring all those business talks since they were just trying to gloat about their wealth and success.   It was tiring to hear them trying to be superior to one another, but she had to understand that this is a monarchy.   She was glad that her family wasn’t anything like that, since they kept their businesses inside of their kingdom.   “Princess, you look pale ever since the wedding concluded. Do you need something in particular?” Hanna politely asked, so she immediately reached out her hand and nodded.   “I do need to ask you a favor, Hanna, if that is alright with you,” She smiled at her, so the sweet girl just nodded.   “Anything you wish, Your Highness, is my command,” Hanna bowed to her, so she sighed in relief before whispering to her.   “I want to go home tonight. Could we do that? I feel a little sick and I don’t want to…contaminate Prince Louis with my sickness,” She informed her.   “Contaminate? Is your sickness that contagious, princess?” Hanna worriedly asked so she thought it was working.   “I-It is,” Venus pretended to cough, “Aside from that, I have numerous things that I forgot from our kingdom,”   Hanna just smiled at her before bowing her head, “I’ll get the carriage for you, Your Highness,”   Princess Venus leaned in to whisper in her ears, “I distinctly remember telling you not to call me that anymore, hm? How many times have you disobeyed me today?” She fooled around.   “Princess! We’re in public where most nobles and dukes could hear us. I must certainly behave,” Hanna panicked, which made her laugh graciously.   “Go ahead and call the carriage, I’ll tell my…husband that I have to go,” Venus informed her before internalizing her inner sickness that didn't exist in the first place.   Just muttering the word husband is already making her sick, but she has to be cautious, everything is so strange right now and she has to make sure that she’ll do what was right this time. Princess Venus casually approached him, so everyone bowed at the sight of her as she curtsied to them as well, “A pleasure to be around this circle, gentlemen, but may I borrow my husband for a moment?”  A lot of men adore Venus for her brightness and beauty, most of them envy Prince Louis for having such a perfect bride.   “You may, Your Highness,” The duke smiled before tapping Prince Louis's shoulders, “You’ll both have wonderful offspring, I can tell,”    ‘Offspring? Ha! We never had one in the past despite all of those making love that we did, maybe one of us is infertile,’ Venus muttered inside of her mind before shaking her head.   She thought she became improper after coming back from the past where her life was ruined because of this kingdom she got married into.   “Thank you, gentlemen,” She curtsied once more and took him somewhere private, telling him what she had to do for tonight.   “You’re leaving? On the night of our wedding? Are you that unwell?” Prince Louis sounded dismayed at his tone.   If she didn’t know any better, this prince just wanted to sleep with her tonight since they just got married. But not today, or ever. She’ll also think about avoiding affection from him without letting people know what she knows.   “I-I have to, I’m sorry, I didn’t want to ruin both of our evenings, but I have to stay away since I don’t want you to get sick,” She whispered solemnly while caressing his cheeks.   It’s part of the act, she has to stay concerned about him while she’s going through with all of the plans she had on her mind.   Prince Louis just sighed, he didn't want to let her go, but if she must, then she had to, “Alright, I’ll come to visit you there tomorrow to fetch you, is that a deal?” He whispered before planting a kiss on her lips.   He moved his lips against hers. She didn’t want to respond but she had to or he'd think that there was something wrong.   “It's such a shame I couldn't let you experience my love for tonight, but we’ll have more next time,” He playfully informed her.   Venus wanted to vomit, she experienced and regretted it, but she still couldn’t believe how someone could change so much after two months had passed.   All of her traumatic experiences happened in two straight months after their wedding, so she still had a lot of time to prepare, since after the wedding night, she had a blast for two weeks and things started changing drastically from then on. “Alright, thank you, Your Highness,” She bowed to him as he made the same gesture. Prince Louis even accompanied her in her carriage that would take her home. “Please have sweet dreams, my precious princess,” Prince Louis kissed the back of her hand, so she just nodded at him.   “Thank you, my husband, I’ll see you in the afternoon tomorrow,” She gave him a small smile.   After she said those words, the horses started neighing, taking her away from the kingdom she had to face soon enough.   The harsh wind that was entering the small window of their carriage somehow eased the tension she had been feeling a while ago.   “Princess, are you sure that everything’s alright?” Hanna asked, which made her look at her lady in waiting.   “You seemed relieved…and why are you shaking?!” She worriedly exclaimed as she reached out towards her hands.   Princess Venus' eyes widened as she felt numerous tears falling down her cheeks. She gasped for air and cupped her mouth as she realized that it wasn’t her physical body weeping but her wrecked soul from the past.   To be continued…
