Freshly showered and thoroughly satisfied the red headed witch and her vampire got dressed in her room, him putting on his dark denim pants, black shirt, boots and long leather jacket. Her in a simple green flowing top, a pair of jeans and her red converses, wet hair drying into waves. Will grabbed her jacket from the closet helping her into it before grabbing her weapons chest from under her bed, he began to hide daggers and other weapons on his body. Star had run down stairs to grab her bag, she tossed in a few of the bigger weapons, a broad sword, an ax and a few more daggers for good measure. Before strapping a sheath onto her back and a adding an ornately carved sword to it's sheath, you could never have to many sharp items when things get crazy. "We'll need to stop by the bookstore so I can add a sigil in case I need any of the spell books there." She started pulling her hair into a ponytail. "Sounds like a plan, Luv." He pulled her in to steal a quick kiss. "It's going to be ok, no matter what happens, I'll always keep you safe." The pair made there way outside, the moon was waning and the stars were bright. Will shifted allowing his demonic face to take shape, his gold eyes better equipped to see farther in the darkness, he helped Star with her black and green helmet pulling the visor up so she would be able to into the night clearer. He hoped on waiting as his witch climbed on behind him, making sure she was holding tightly onto him before taking off into the darkened streets, with a loud roar of his motorcycle. It was mostly empty with few signs of struggle as they passed store fronts, a few zombies here and there that they didn't stop to take care of. Will could sense others like himself, reviling in the death and chaos around them. They pulled up to a bookstore with occult items in the window as well, its peeling purple painted door a welcome sight for both of them. An older truck set outside of the store, windows rolled down. "Looks like the mutt made it." Will sighed face shifting back to normal, "I can smell him inside." Star took off her helmet hopping off the bike, glad that at least one of her friends was still alive. Will followed closely behind her as they entered the bookstore, Zane was sitting at the research table looking forlorn, hands pushing back his multicolored green and blue hair when her smell hit him. It was strawberries and sage, a smell he would always associate with all the good things in his life. It was his mate, his wolf started to get excited. His wolf just didn't understand that she couldn't be his mate, she was the leech's. Standing he looked over at the door, black painted finger nails scratching his chin. She was so beautiful that it made his chest tight, forcing air into his lungs he walked towards the pair ignoring the vampire's warning growl before Star reached over and hugged him, soothing his beast with her nearness. He could never let her, know how he felt. Star would hurt for him, she didn't know and he wasn't planning to tell her but her other mate knew. Will could tell by the way the wolf watched her always with wistful glances and pained eyes. "Zane, I'm so glad your ok. Is your pack ok?" He shook his head, an alpha in his own right. He had only joined the pack to be closer to her, knowing this allowed him to stay in the same town as her. "The alpha called everyone else to the pack house, I knew you and Will would probably be leaving soon and I'm going with you guys." Star gasped, "You're going rogue? But you need a pack, your wolf needs it." She was still so unaware that she and her blood sucker were who he considered his pack. "Yeah, fleabag you need to stay with your pack." Will smirked down at the shorter man, "I don't know how the other packs are doing or if treaties still hold and we'll be crossing through several of them to get to my sire's place." "It doesn't matter, you guys are my family and I'm going to protect Star no matter what it costs." He looked at the red headed witch, tears gleaming in her eyes at what she felt of his sacrifice towards his pack. "I can protect you during the day and Will can take night shifts." Both men looked at each other nodding in agreement. They would have an uneasy truce for her, both wanted her safe no matter what the cost. Star nodded accepting their fellow traveler, she pulled her back pack off her shoulders and whispered for the mixture she had put in there earlier. Pulling it out she walked over to the bookcase, drawing the same sigil on the wall she breathed a sigh of relief as it flashed to life, now she would have access to any of the books she might need. Loading the container back into her bag she smiled at Will and Zane, "Zane did you want to load up any of the weapons in your truck? Or any of the food in the break room?" Zane nodded heading over to the break room, "Good thinking Star, maybe we should head to a grocery store as well and load up the truck. We don't know how long we'll be on the road, Will you want to grab any weapons?" The blonde vampire nodded heading to the restricted area of the store to grab several swords, axes and a few ceremonial daggers. Arms loaded he headed to Zane's truck tossing them in as the wolf and witch loaded the truck with what snacks were in the break room. His mate and the wolf both stood side by side, same height and pale skin. The wolf was beautiful in his own way stocky shoulders, multi-colored hair, trim waist, compact body, muscles toned and tight from training for hours on end. His mate was lithe, graceful, red hair waving past her shoulders, a lite sprinkling of freckles gracing her alabaster skin that seemed to glow in the moon light. Both would be a sight to behold together, he growled thinking this; lust and possessiveness. "Be safe and please be careful." The witch pulled the wolf in for a hug, he held her breathing in her scent, letting it soothe his beast. She was safe and even if she wasn't his, that’s all that mattered. She watched him climb into the cab of his truck before making her way over to Will seated on his bike taking in the sight of them. "Ready to roll, Red?" He smirked at her, "There's miles to go." She nodded pulling on her helmet and securing her backpack, climbing on the motorcycle and wrapping her arms around his trim waist. The bike roared to life taking off down the street with the wolf following close behind them eyes wide at the destruction around them.
