Hello guys, Sofie is here and this guy...*forcefully grabs Adam's shoulder*...is Adam, my best friend. "Hey, I'm currently in game right now!" Adam complains. "Whatever..." Anyway, let's us tell you guys about how we first met, yup that day in the subway. I am sure you guys want to know how Adam really is because I am sure you will never expect about it at all. "Ugh please, Sofie," the bronze guy interrupts. "I have changed, okay. Please don't embarrass me again, will you?" *laughs*...if you guys want to know, Adam used to be a crybaby guy. Yup, believe me. He always been bullied by other students and could not do nothing about it. "And for your information she's a very clumsy girl that time too," Hello, it was my first time taking that subway all alone, okay. People made mistakes sometimes. "Ugh...just forget it. I will always lose in whatever I said against you." Great, now you know. Be quite then and just play with your Xbox or whatever you called it. So the story started when.... Flashback [Adam Brodie] The alarm...ughh please someone turn it off for me. Just throw it away or even soak it into the water. I just....can not stand it anymore after been ringing for about 15 minutes already. "Adam~" Now what? A knock on the door? Oh please...I just want to sleep for a few minutes. "Wake up already. You're gonna be late for school." School? Nah...I am not feeling going today. That hell really makes me sick. "Adam, please wake up..." Man...how can I resist when she begs for me like that. I do not want my mom to be sad because of me. She practically begs for me to behind the door, with her soft voice so that I will change my mind about school. *sighs*...that is great. I sit straight on my single bed along with my eyes close, still in half sleep while a part of my mind thinking about my school day for today will be miserable like always. "Adam...Adam~," a 6 years old blond hair girl barges into my room with a beautiful smile curves in her lips. She looks so happy, jumping around my bed excitedly and will never going to stop until I wish 'Good Morning, little angel' to her. My vision is so blurry as I open my eyes, but I could still my cute little sister is staring at me, right in front of me. I have problem my eyes, which is short sightedness since the age of 7. Maybe my dad's genetic is so strong in me since he wore glasses too instead of my mom who had a perfect vision. But it is okay, as long as I can hide my face full with pimples though. "Adam??" Amelia, my sister waves her hand in front of my face to grab my attention back. "Are you okay, big brother?" I curve a smile for her while grabbing her and put her gently on my laps. "Yeah, I'm okay," then rest my chin on her shoulder. "I'm just so sleepy and lazy today." She giggles cutely, "Wakey-wakey, Adam. You have school remember?" Her small finger pokes my cheek. I sigh, "Okay...okay...I'll take shower now." I scoot away from my bed as soon as Amelia gets up from my laps. "Tell mom, I'll coming down in 10 minutes, or she might be scarier." She nods, as she understands me, "Be quick, okay? I want you to send me to school today....pleaseee," she says with her puppy eyes, pleading for me so I could agree with her. "Alright...alright," I pinch both of her chubby cheeks. "As you wish my princess," "Yeayy....Adam is the best!" She cheers happily then swiftly away from my room. "Mommy, daddy!!!" I grab my towel and put it around my neck, heading to the bathroom outside. The smile curves on my lips as hear Amelia'a excited voice downstairs, telling our parents that I will send her to school today. To be honest, I rarely send her to school myself since usually my dad or even my mom who were the one did that. So, that is way she being excited like that. I have an hour left before my school hour start so, I think I have time to send my little sister to her school. It is just two blocks from our house and the subway station just about 100 metres from there. Yup, need to be fast. I put on my striped sweatshirt along with a dark blue jeans and a pair of black grey Nike sneakers. I just ignore wet my messy hair then head to down stair with one strap bag hangs on my right shoulder. "Morning, mom, dad," I kiss on my mom's cheek and bump my dad's fist as he offers it to me; the thing that we always did that every day. "Morning, darling," my mom greets me back, fixing my wet messy hair a bit. "Why don't you dry it properly, Adam? You might get cold or something." I chuckle, "Nah...I'll be fine mom," then grabs a piece of bread and a small carton milk from the table. "Let's go Amy..." "Adam," my dad stops me from heading out of the kitchen. His glimmering grey eyes are looking into mine makes me wonder why. Wait did he know.... I guess not because I never tell my mom, to him or even anyone else. It was my problem, so I think I should handle it on my own. "Is everything alright, dad?" I ask, trying my best not to show something suspicious so he would not worry about me. "It's nothing," he quickly moves his eyes back to his newspaper. "Just want you to be more careful, alright buddy?" "O-oh..alright dad, I'll," I reply with a quick smile. "Come Amelia, we're gonna be late.." "Okay..." she gets up from the chair with the help of my mom. "Goodbye mommy, daddy. See you later." * [Sofea Emerson] I just can not believe myself that I need to take subway alone for today. How am I supposed to do it by myself? I do not know how. Usually my brother will accompany me. Thanks Zac, for sleeping like a log. Luckily for you, brother for finally graduate from high school....*sighs*. I walk by myself toward the subway nearby; the usually road which my brother and I always used and arrived at the station 10 minutes later. Anyway, I saw two siblings walking down the street; cute though, a brother who willing to send his little sister to school. Her brother so sweet though, just like my brother, Zac. But today, he really disappointed me. "Hey," a messy bronze hair guy approaches me at my sit in one of the wagon of the train. "You're sitting on my spot." He is wearing striped sweatshirt along with a pair of jeans and also a big ugly glasses, hiding his eyes with it. That guy has small pimples all over his face, I bet it must be painful. Poor guy. However, he is being rude to me. Can he just ask me properly? Ughh....like the spot has his name or something. Distant voice 1: I bet the Brodie boy has something for both of us. Distant voice 2: Yeah, I bet that too. He's from a rich family, but doesn't look rich at all. *laughs* "Quick!" The messy hair guy says to me. "They're coming...." he looks scared of something so sudden, making me wonder who are those person he meant earlier. "W-what?" I look at him in confused still not giving up my spot. "Why should I?" He turns to the direction with a cringe on his forehead. Seriously I do not get it what is he problem. This nerdy is so weird. Distant voice 2: But it will be more fun if there's a new person instead of that Four Eyes. He's boring, don't you get me man? There are two fat guys coming toward our direction, talking about something sounds like a 'bully' to me. The striped sweatshirt guy grabs my hand then pulls me away from that seat, "You'll thank me after this," he said as soon as takes a seat on that spot. "Just go, sit anywhere instead of this spot." Without I could even say anything, two fat guys come approach the messy hair guy in front of me. "Just go..." he instructs me. "Hello Brodie," the red hair guy steals his bag away from his shoulder while the other one is looking at me with his freaky smile. "What did you bring us today? Any food or money?" The bronze hair guy who called Brodie just focus his eyes down to the wagon floor instead of saying anything. This is the first time I watch the bullies in real life. I never seen one in my life before, and they are disgusting, picking a fight with someone who totally....well not the same level as theirs. That Brodie guy is thin and weak while they are fat just like the hippos. The red hair guy empty the Brodie one strand bag causing all of his stuffs scattered all over the floor and his carton milk rolls over near to my feet. "Seriously, you just brought this much money?" He looks at him in disbelief, taking out all of the money from the wallet. "You're beautiful," the freaky smile guy almost touch my face with his dirty hand, but luckily with my quick movement I swat his hand right away. "Don't touch me!" I shout, catching some of people attention in the wagon. However, none of them are willing to help us. "Hey!" The bronze hair guy finally stands back on his feet, facing the fat red hair guy who is just a bit taller than him. "Just leave her alone!" Both of the bullies burst out of laughter, "Whoa...that's so scary," then pushes him away, causing him to fall on the seat back. "So you want to act heroic in front of a girl, huh freak." "Stop it, fatty!" I shout to them, making them startled a bit with my loud voice. "She really does has a loud voice," one of them speaks out. "Small gorgeous girl, but has a loud voice. I love it," they takes several steps closer to me with weird eyes looking straight at me. I am not afraid at them at all. It is just well, smelly though. Yuck... "I said, don't disturb her!!!" The Brodie guy suddenly pushes the freaky smile guy away from me, causing him to fall hard on the ground. "How dare you, Four Eyes!" The big red hair guy grabs the bronze hair guy's shirt. "Who do you think you are, huh freak!" Then lands hard his fist on the poor guy's face, causing him to take a step back away. Uh-oh...this is bad. "I have a name!" I could see the red liquid come out from his mouth's corner as he turns back to us. "It's Adam and I'm tired for being bully by you guys!" "So what?" They ask arrogantly. "What are you going to do about that, freak?" Come on, Adam. Just tell them, stop them from bully you. Show them who you are even though I do not know you either. But I know, you are a good guy. You seem to be one. "Nothing..." the guy named Adam replies with an unexpected answer which makes me disappointed of him a bit. "Good," the red hair guy pokes his head. "Don't be such a hero and bring us more money or food next time." Adam crouches on the floor to pick back his stuffs which scattered around. He just remains silent not saying any words instead just putting back his stuffs on his bag. I feel sorry for him for being one for the bully victim. "This for your warning for pushing me like that, nerd!" The guy who has the freaky smile crushes the carton milk, causing it spread all over especially that guy who is currently crouching. His clothes, pants and even his face are full with the milk. "What the....that's it, I can't hold it much longer." I wipe my face from the splash of milk. I stop that smelly hippos from leaving us and I am planning to do something that nerdy would not do. "Aren't you ashamed picking on with someone beyond your level? He didn't do anything to you guys, why still bothering him? Take a look at him, I admit he's weak, a nerd and even has no sense of style....so just leave him alone you fatty dumb asses. Pick on someone who is way better than him." Unfortunately, that bullies only laugh with my words and walk away from the wagon as soon as the train stop at the unfamiliar destination. "Thanks for embarrassing me with that 'motivational' words..." the guy named Adam sarcastically thanks me. Is this the way he thanks me? What a very rude person. Now I feel regretted for defending him. He wipes the splash of the milk with his hands then slings his one strap bag on his right shoulder. His wound is still bleeding, it is not that bad actually. But if he did not take care of it well, his wound might getting infections. "Great, now I'm totally late for school," he mumbles to himself while walks towards the wagon automatic door. Great....I just helped a selfish-arrogant guy. I am so very late for school and might getting detention if I keep going. But wait a second! Melbourne Ave? This is not my school supposed to be. Ugh...what a very disaster day for you, Sophie. "Heyy!!!" Luckily the door still open or else, I do not know where this train will take me. To be honest, I never take subway all alone by myself. Usually, my brother was the one who will go with me. But that sleepy head....ugh. "Hey, that guy named Adam!!" I try to call that striped sweatshirt guy so he could stop he paces since he is the only one who I familiar with at this station. "What?" He stops all of sudden, causing me to bump against his back hard. "Oww..." My nose hurts, and I practically whine in pain in front of him as he turns to face me. "Why are you following me?" He asks, with his face seems to be sticky with the milk plus his clothes too, soaking wet. I know he is mad at me a bit because of my words. But hey, I was trying to help him though. "I...I-I don't know how to get to my school," God, why am I stuttering? "I think I took the wrong subway." He sighs, "Where are your school supposed to be?" "Parsons Blvd," I bite my lower lips, waiting for him to react whether mad, laugh, mocking me or whatever he want to. Because I know that I am a bit clumsy person, taking the wrong subway to go to my school which I know a bit far from here. However, he just remains silent and just stares me with his eyes hidden behind of the big glasses. "Why are you looking at me like that?" He shrugs, "I don't know maybe because you're so weird girl," then walks away from me. "Laters..." "Hey, don't leave me here,"I try to stop him even though he seems to quicken more his paces. But I follow him stubbornly. "Why should I stay here with you anyway?" He replies along with a sigh as we are now walking side by side. "I already thank you for helping me there even though you kind of embarrassed me." "Because you seem a like a nice person, Adam," I smile to him which make him stop in the middle of the paveway. "Well, what I said in that train technically the truth. You look weak, a nerd and whatsoever. But you do really have a kind heart. And I'm sorry for calling you that by the way." He seems not interested at all, "Oh okay then," still trying to get rid the sticky milk splash on his face. "Thank you so much for your help whatever your name is..." "It's Sofea," I tell him my name. "Oh come on, dude. I know you are not heading to school anyway." "What makes you think of that," he continues to walk, with me following him by his right side. "Of course with not in that clothes, with sticky milk on your face and it's kind of super late now," I answer him based on my observation about his current condition. "Could you please stop for a minute?" I feel so frustrated with hm so I walk in front of him, stopping him from walking away from me, again. "Why are you being rude with me since beginning?" He turns to me, looking straight into my eyes which I notice that he has a pair of beautiful grey eyes, "I know girls like you." I am about his chin level when we are standing closely to each other. "You want to pick on me too, right? It's impossible someone like you want to help me or even talk to me. You have another agenda for me right?" His words really pisses me a bit, but I know he just misunderstand of me. "I'm tired now from being bully like this," he adds with his eyes are now seem to be glimmer, as he is about to cry now. "I don't know how to face my parents anymore and always lied to them. My little sister....what if she stopped admiring me after knew that her brother is weak?" "Then it was all your faults, Adam," he looks in surprised with my words. His grey eyes grow bigger and seems like he tongue-tied. "Look, I'm trying to be nice to you and help you about this bully thingy. You said you are tired with that right? But you didn't do nothing to them, you didn't fight back. I thought you want to back then, but I was wrong." "First of all, didn't you see that guys were so big, two times size then us?" He asks while crossing his arms. "And yes, I didn't dare to fight back because I was afraid that I might getting beaten or something." "Yup, they were so big and smelly, ewwww...." I bet my face cringey as that two big fat guys flashes in my mind. He laughs, "Yeah, they kind of smelly. I agree with that." Awww....he's laughing and looks cute though. I see some progress between us so I could help him to overcome his bully problem. "Anyway, that was your problem," I add. "You're weak, coward, no sense of style, a nerd, ne-..." He cuts me in, "This is not helping at all," "Yes it is, of course," I insist. "Then do you have to call me that, it's kind of bit hurt, you know." I nod, "Yup, totally," my answer just gives him a cringe on his face. "I'm a straight forward person. So, I just tell anything that I saw with my own eyes." "You're totally a weirdo, Sofie," he rolls his eyes the continues to walk again. "Hey," I stop him again by grabbing his one strap bag. "Don't be like that. I'm just telling the truth. Plus, I really want to help you, Adam." "Fine," he sighs. "So change it, okay?" He shrugs, "I don't know, maybe, maybe not." I look at him in disbelief, I mean practically give him a glare that makes him swallow hard a little. "Ooo-okay..*clears throat*...I will," and yes, I managed to change his mind. "I'm Sofea Emerson by the way," I finally introduce myself to him along with a smile. "Adam, my name is Adam Brodie..." he shakes my hand as I offer it to him with a smile curves on his lips. "Anyways, aren't you going to school which seems...umm a little bit far from here?" I shakes my head once as a no, "Of course not. Are you? I bet you aren't either, right?" "Kind of." "So what are we going to do then?" We then give each other looks, "Let's hangout together!" To be continue...
