Uknown Anger

(Unknown P.O.V.) This sniveling excuse of a man, was the most annoying person I have ever had dealings with. I had made many deals with many kinds of beings in my life, but this man was beyond words. His ego could fill this castle four or five times over. I would not be here if I was not looking for something, more accurately someone. A new ally told me to find a Fairy of all things but a very particular one, no details of who she or he looked like all he would say is that this Fairy could help me adjust to the “changes” that I recently went through. All he said defiantly was: “You’ll know.” Helpful. I’ve been this moron's guest for over two months, and finally he agreed to let me see his Fairies. I had quiet enough of this mans company his treatment of his household staff was deplorable, which meant his treatment of his slaves would be worse. My expectations of most people were low but this human manged to have away of lower my expectations of people even more. He made small talk, most of which did not require my full attention. Things of general sales terms, as well as the wonderful living etc. I payed attention to the path he was leading me. I had memorized most of the castles layout in the first few hours of my arrival, however this was an area I had not been to. I wanted to know ever possible way in or out that I could use. The gray stone walls were thick but I could bash through them if needed. The path was down a winding stair case from the second story of the castle which meant this stair case went all the was to the fourth floor. There were small windows, not big enough for most people to use for escape. The two guards with us were basic trained I could tell that they had never seen a real fight, at least nothing more than a brawl between men. With us was also the Quartermaster, he however was a different story. He was average height for a human with dark hair but his eyes were blue, yet there was a darkness behind them that I knew well. He like pain, more accurately he enjoyed inflicting it on others. He got off to the screams of agony of others, a pleasure that I knew well but that seemed such a long time ago, almost a lifetime ago. We were going past a room that looked as if it was used as a common area, or at least it had been. It had recently been cleaned out, what was left in the room was barely usable and broken. This area reminded me of a dungeon, we rounded a corner and I realized this was the slaves quarters. At least my expectations were met, these rooms were not much better than cells. They were all under feed, for fairies they were dirty. As we walked down the corridor I looked at each one but none of them stood out to me. I was deep in thought that is when the moron spoke: “These are the Fairies I have available, My Lord. They are the finest in the area.” He said. “Hmm. I see.” I said. I could not think of anything else to say, that would not show my contempt for this person. His tone of voice was so annoying almost like finger nails on a chalk board. This short greasy, stocky man was trying to be a salesmen I knew that, it was something I even did. However people usually could not tell when I was trying to sell them something this i***t made it so obvious a child could spot it. A question in my mind is how is this man still alive. I had no answer. Something was odd about this situation I unsure as to what. We continued forward down the corridor on the left hand side was a large metal door. At first I did not pay much mind to it, we were close to the dungeon I assumed that was the door to the dungeon. As we came to it I heard the slightest sound come from behind it. “What was that sound?” I asked flatly. I knew he was going to play it off to be nothing ,maybe rats or something equally stupid. I knew that sound well it could only be made by a person moving in chains. “My Lord, I did not hear anything.” he said Almost beside himself. It as amusing to me really, how easily I could make people uncomfortable. “There was a sound in that cell block.” I stated. “Oh, it-it may have been a rat. That block doesn’t get used often. Only for extreme cases.” he answered the smell of fear was pouring from him. I noticed that he did not correct me in saying cell block, that means he views these as cells not chambers. My level of disgust for him rose. While he spoke I had let just enough of my Blood sight take over to see if it truly was a rat. I saw a heart beat it was not small enough to be a rat. The heart beat was very slow, that was concerning. “Open it!” I ordered. I do have to hand to him he had some nerve. Especially considering my reputation he actually gave ME some lip if I was already irritated I may have found it entertaining. “M-M-My Lord, there’s no one in there.” He stuttered. “I said. Open. It. NOW!” I growled. I let my displeasure be seen, as well as felt those standing close by stepped back. I wanted the door open at this moment he wanted to be stubborn that was something I was not going to let him do. If he did not comply I would open it myself. His fear was so high that I was sure he would comply. The Quartermaster did not wait for an order he did as I said which in a way surprised me, I did not expect that from someone with such a love of pain to be afraid but he was. He fumbled with the keys and opened the door. I took a torch from the wall and walked in, there was cells on both sides of the walk way. I looked in each one while walking by. It was evident that they had not been used in a while. As soon as I entered the cell block the stench of s**t and death filled my nose. It was a smell I knew well. I walked the corridor and came to the last cell on the right hand side of the corridor and I saw her. I knew, I just knew this was who I was looking for. She was skin and bones, her black hair was dull and matted. Seeing her like this upset me greatly, I did not have an answer as to why but it did, all I knew is that wanted to ripe the throat out of who ever did this. But why was I falling a part over a Fairy especially one that I did not know? None of this made sense to me. In my long life things made sense but this, this situation did not make any sense to me at all. She laid there with her hand over her eyes as if the light hurt her. I was past angry I was livid I could feel that my presence was reflecting this as well the guards back up out of fear. The only one who was not showing any sign of fear was Master Marcus. He showed no emotion about the situation that was in front of him. This struck me as odd. “My Lord she’s her for an act of disobedience.” Master Marcus said in a flat tone “Hmm. So starving to her to death is acceptable punishment for disobedience?” I asked coldly.
