A Gladiator...

A Warrior...

A Saviour...

Luella suddenly woke up in a strange, weird-looking, unfamiliar world without any memories about herself or how she even got there.

The people of that world suddenly started calling her as the Gladiator or the Savior of that world who'll save them from the future destruction that will be caused by the Ordeals as predicted millenniums ago.

Clueless, unskilled and no magical powers.

Could she really save them all?

ACT I- The Awakening
προφητεία In the Fall of eighteenth, five hundred years from now; The world of Phantasm shall crumble to the ground. A Female Gladiator with a tattoo on her back will rise as a champion against the great despair Ordeals shall bring forth liberating the sphere from sure perdition. -~* King Louis Ramesses' Me and my Palace swordsmen are walking in the aisle going to the Realm's Land of the Elves. We received information from the Elder Guardian of the Divine Profitéia that the Goblet of Agartha lit up by itself last night. We're not alarmed that the Goblet lit up by itself but because it lit up with violet flame. Violet flame signifies bad omen in the Realm. "Our King, only you can pass the portal to the Land of the Elves. We'll wait for your return here my King." My right hand Haji bowed in front of me and gave me the sphere of life to protect me from the poisonous air released by the elves in their land. I immediately took the sword from Haji's hands and entered the water-like texture of the portal. As I entered the Land of the Elves, the sword lit up and released a blinding light. "We were waiting for you our King." The Guardian Elves welcomed me in their Land as soon as I opened my eyes. The Elves' appearance is like human children except for their long pointy ears and galaxy-colored eyes. They all knelt in one knee before me as a sign of respect. "Where is the Elder Guardian? I believe she have something important to tell me." I asked the Elves. One Elf stood up, still bowing its head to avoid my eyes. It’s avoiding my eyes because the Elves’ eyes are one of the most dangerous things in this world. It has a curse that could kill an ordinary human being in a split second.   "Let me bring you to her, My King." The Elf said, offering its hand to me which I immediately received. The Elves also has the power to bring anyone anywhere just by touching their hands. As soon as I received the Elf's hand, I was immediately transported to the room of the Elder Guardian. "I see you're here King Ramesses." The Elder smiled at me. The Elder Guardian also looks like the Elves outside who welcomed me, except she's taller than all of them and her eyes are not deadly as theirs. She's powerful and she's the only one who can read the Prophecy of the Realm left by their ancestors thousands of years ago. "I believe you have something to divulge to me Elder Guardian." "Yes, I do have something to say to you but before that, can you sit down? I have like twenty chairs in this room my King." I rolled my eyes upward and sat in one of the Elder's chairs. She smiled at me and sat on the throne-like chair in front of me. The Elder Guardian opened the book and read it. My eyebrows furrowed when a few seconds have passed and she still haven’t spoke. "So... are you going to talk or—" "I'm reading the Profitéia, my King." My words were being cut off immediately. "You’ve read that already—” "Some words has been added to the Profetia. It changed, my King." The Elder Guardian said. My eyebrows furrowed in confusion. The book is blank but there are blinking lights in the page. She continued on reading the book and immediately closed it. The Elder was shaking. She looked at me. "What’s the problem, Elder?" "The violet flame... the bad omen... My King." The Elder faced me and fear was visible in her eyes. "What did that Profitéia say?" tanong ko sa kanya. "The Gladiator has awoken. She's here my King. Find her." My eyes widened. “The Gladiator is already here meaning...” "Yes my King. The Ordeals are coming anytime soon. Let's find her before that day comes, if we fail to find her, the Realm will crumble to the ground and everything will cease to exist." The Elder held my hands as if her life depends on it. "Find her." -- King Louis Ramesses' "Search the whole Realm for a woman that is not from here. Be it a kid or an old lady, as long as she has a dreamcatcher tattoo on her back, bring her to me." I commanded my soldiers, guards and swordsmen. They all nodded their head before exiting the Palace to look for the Gladiator. "Shall I go with them My King?" Haji asked me. I shook my head and looked up. "Let them find her. You go to the Lake of Fairies and fetch me water from the Holy Falls." I ordered to Haji. I noticed a change of Haji’s expression when I mentioned the word Holy Falls. "What is it Haji?" "Are you really getting better My King?" Haji asked. I smiled at him and slowly shook my head. "I'm getting worse. The curse inflicted upon me by the Ruler of the Leviathan cannot be cured. The water from the Holy Falls only eases the pain but it won't cure me." I said to Haji. Haji’s shoulder fell in disappointment. I've been fighting monsters from different places and survived. I was born to become a ruler and protector of this world that’s why I do that. But thirty years ago, I fought against the Ruler of Leviathan or the Sea Monster. I survived the fight against the sea monster but its blood entered my wound. Before it died it casted a Leviathan curse on me. Its blood entered my blood stream together with the curse that would rot my insides. I'm still alive but I'm rotting inside. The water of the Holy Falls eases the pain and heals my internal organs but it doesn't have the power to remove the curse inflicted upon me. The Elder Guardian and the Palace’s healers can't also find a cure. I've been hiding this sickness for three decades already but I know sooner or later, it'll show itself because the curse is continuously spreading in my body. Soon, it'll show itself outside and I wouldn't be able to hide it from anyone anymore. I smiled at Haji. "Go and fetch me some water now Haji-" "Louis." He called out my name. I smiled at him. "It's been so long since the last time you called me by my first name Haji." I said. Haji looked down. Haji is my childhood friend. Both of our parents died because of the Plague caused by the Alphas of the Dark. When I took the position of being the King of the Realm, Haji instantly became my right hand and he stopped calling me by my first name for it was the commandment of the higher deities. "I'll be punished for disrespecting you but Louis, I can try to find a cure-" "You've been trying to find a cure in secret Haji, I know. You've been trying for years but still, you still can’t find one." "Louis-" I cut off his words immediately. "I've given up Haji, it's also time for you to give up. Now, as your King I command you to go to the Lake of the Fairies and fetch me some water from the Holy Falls." Haji nodded his head and immediately left. I sighed. -- NOCTURNALBEAST
