I can't believe we just did that!

We woke up the next morning bright and early, it was time to prep for Gringotts. I myself didn't have to put on a disguise since I would be portraying myself so I just sat back and watched as Hermione was playing around with new looks. Ron ended up with brown hair and no freckles which was perfect thought simple, if I hadn't watched him being transformed I wouldn't have recognized him. Harry's hair was changed to blonde and his eyes to blue and Hermione put a charm on his glasses to make them appear invisible. Last but not least Hermione used a pans reflection to change herself. She like Harry went blonde with blue eyes, they could pass as twins. I watched as she turned to me and smiled blushing a bit. "Well... how do I look?" She asked me. It took me quite sometime to respond, I simply didn't have the words to explain how beautiful she looked. Instantly I thought of her and my future, if we both survived he would have to propose to her. "You look amazing" I paused for a few moments to pull my thoughts together. "Ron you will be Marcus Flint, Harry you will be Adrian Pucey and Hermione you will be my girlfriend Astoria Greengrass" Hermione blushed at those words, they all nodded their heads in acknowledgement. I walked over to the bunk and pull my rucksack onto my lap before reaching my arm deep into the bag. I pulled out 3 sets of traveling robes and threw them over to them. "Put those on, if you want to impersonate a pure blood you are going to need to dress like a million galleons" I finished with a chuckle. I waited patiently for them to change before we walked outside and started undoing the enchantments and taking down the tent. I took Hermione's bag and put it inside my own before placing the shrinking charm on it and sticking it in my robes pockets. We grabbed hands before Hermione turned on the spot and we were sucked into nothingness. Once I opened my eyes I looked around, we were in Diagon Alley. Heading towards Gringotts I stopped and turned to them. "Do not talk or introduce yourself unless I gesture you too. If some one says something to you and its appropriate to do so nod your head." It took 49 steps to get to the front desk inside Gringotts from where we stood. With the three standing behind me as my flanks I cleared my throat to grab the goblins attention. "I wish to enter the vault of Bellatrix Lestrange." I said in my snobby voice I used so well. The goblins eyes flickered up and caught mine. "Identification?" He asked. I reached into my robes and grabbed my wand from my wand pocket and placed it before him. I watched as his long thin fingers picked it up and stared at it if he were studying it and then he let out a sigh. "Right this way Mr. Malfoy." he said as he grabbed a latern and headed towards the entrance to the underground vaults. I was on edge the entire time, how were we supposed to look for this horcrux with a goblin breathing down our necks. Maybe we could ask for a bit of privacy or maybe we can use the imperio curse on him or something. Those were my constant thoughts as we neared my Aunts vault. I watched as the goblin walked forward with the clankers to yeild the dragon and then even more so I watched as he placed his hand on the vault causing it to open. My eyes widened as I saw what was inside, not because it was a new sight to my eyes but because I just realized we would have to look through everything to find the horcrux. I walked close to the three and we moved inside the vault. "Don't touch anything, the items have the gemino curse on it which will cause anything touched by a foreign person to multiply." They nodded in understanding. 30 minutes was how long it took for us to sift through all the items in the vault with our eyes. I could see that the goblin was growing a bit suspiscious. He pressed his hand up against the wall and I thought nothing of it. "There!" I heard Harry say and I turned quickly to see him pointing at a cup that had the Hufflepuff insignia on it. Quickly I climbed the ladder to get to the shelf it was nesting on and plucked it before jumping down and landing on my feet. As we were heading out I heard yells and shouts, then suddenly the Goblin that had escorted us began shouting. "Theifs... theifs!" he said over and over again. I took Hermiones hand and we began running up the steps to the second floor of the vaults. I watched as the Goblin that had outed us was burnt to a crisp as the dragon decided it was going to breath fire. All around us the walls were exploding, chunks and masonry raining everywhere. "Great we are trapped!' I heard Ron yell. "Do you have any ideas Hermione?" Harry quickly asked her. "One" She panted. "But its seriously mad." Without a word Hermione ran out from behind the column and blasted the chains that held the dragon down and made a running leap onto its back. "Well come on then" She called to us. She was right this was mad but if it got me out of here. I was more afraid of Hermione getting caught then anything. She was a muggle born and the Dark Lord was killing them. I witnessed my muggle studies teacher die right before my eyes at his hand, I wasn't going to let that happen to her. Taking a deep breath I ran and jumped onto the back of the dragon and soon Harry and Ron followed. I guess the dragon sensed his freedom from the chains because he spread his wings and began to head towards the ceiling. I grabbed my arm tight around Hermione to make sure she wouldn't fall and closed my eyes. Once I smelled fresh air and no longer heard screams I opened them again. We were flying towards what looked to be a lake in the great distance. "I say we jump" Harry said as we flew over the lake, near shore. "When?" Ron asked. "Now" Harry answered letting go and plummeting below, we followed. I took in a large gulp of air seconds before I landed and then swam back to the surface. Looking around I was relieved when I saw Hermione inches behind Harry and Ron who were near the waters edge. Moving with a breast stroke I swam towards the shore. Pulling myself onto the dry land I flopped onto my back to relax for a brief moment. "I can't believe we just did that!" I exclaimed. It was nice doing something good for a change. "I need my bag" Hermione told me with a shaky voice. She was wet and cold and that alone made me uneasy. Pulling out my ruck sac I dug in it for hers and extracted it before stowing my on the ground. I winced as I went to hand her the bag of hers as I saw her red hands. I automatically looked at mine and they too were roughed up from the dragons hide. I opened her bag and used the summoning charm to get the essence of dittany. Upstoppering the bottle I applied a few drops to her hands then to Harry's, Rons and then lastly my own. After I put the dittany back in her bag I picked up mine and took out my tent. Using my wand I set it up and then brought a warm towel out and wrapped it around Hermione. "You guys go and get warm while I put up the enchantments" Immeadiately they headed inside and I began my work. 5 minutes later I joined them. They were sitting in the sitting room listening to the radio, the voice spoke of the most recent disappearances and deaths. "If you need to or want to take a shower their is a shower off the kitchen. Make yourselves like home." I finished before I headed into the kitchen to take out the food I had in my ruck for dinner. Hermione joined me a few moments later and she too began to help prep dinner until she all but drop kicked me out of the kitchen. Apparently she liked to do the cooking and said that I had helped enough for today. She gave me a hug before she nudged me away. I walked into the room and joined Ron and Harry who were looking at the horcrux and trying to decide the best way to kill it. They had one horcrux and no sword - it had mysteriously disappeared from the bag which had Harry Ron and Hermione all on edge. "What about fiendfire?" I asked as I took a seat in an open lounge chair. "Fiendfire, are you crazy!" Ron began apparently disgusted with my idea. "That is some serious dark magic and if you don't do it properly we could all be killed." I knew how to control it, my aunt Bella spent 5 months in my 6th year trying to teach me some dark magic along with occlumency. "Give me the cup" I told Harry. He hesitated but then handed it over. I got to my feet and walked out of the tent and close to the waters edge. Using a hovering charm I rose it to the air and out towards the center of the lake. Letting it go I quickly whipped around my wand and a giant flame serpeant came from the wand and went the distance before hitting the cup. Several things happened at one, a errie scream filled the air and it seemed like ghosts flew from it lastly Harry gasped and clutched at his chest before he buckled to the ground. Flicking my wand once I murmered a word and the flames died down before disappearing all together. I turned and ran to Harrys side and dropped on my knees to see if he was okay but he shrugged me off as if it was nothing. "Dinner is ready" Hermione called from inside the tent. The three of us trodded back into the tent towards the dining room where Hermione had a loaf of fresh bread, butterbeer and a lovely smelling vegetable stew awaiting us. Ron was the first one sitting and eating which was nothing new, he had a huge appetite which amused me. Harry took a seat beside Ron and I by Hermione and then we began our meal. Over the table we announced to Hermione that one more Horcrux was gone. The diary, the ring, the locket, and the cup. If I counted right we had to find 3 more before Voldemort would be mortal once more. I saw a bright light of a chance for a future with Hermione, that night I slept good. Free from the nightmares of Hermione's lifeless body in my arms.
