Who pulled the shower curtain?

Sebastian had left after waiting for an extra hour. The children on the other hand hadn't cried since they weren't yet aware I was going to be leaving the house for long. I pulled my phone out of my pocket and dialed Nikita, one of my two best friends. I waited patiently for her to answer, whilst lying on the bed and drumming my fingers against the blanket. "b***h!" She exclaimed immediately after answering the phone call. "I've been waiting for your phone call, what the hell?" She smiled enthusiastically. "Babe." I chuckled in delight. Lately, I'd been so caught up in my affairs to have time for my friends and I admittedly felt guilty about that part for the most of it. "So, guess who's in school right now?" I chuckled, turning to lie on my back. "Aww, I'm so proud of your ass. How have you been?" She called and cleared her throat. "Good for the most of it." I said. "Of course, you're a billionaire's wife, what else are we supposed to expect?" She teased. "Puh-lease." I rolled my eyes, sitting up in bed while drawing my knees up to my chest. "Money isn't happi..." "Shut the f**k up." She cut me off, laughing in a witch like manner. "Don't even come at me with that money isn't happiness stupid crap. I know you'd rather be sad in a pool with women massaging your back while you drink expensive wine, than sit lonely in your old house, trying to get rid of cobwebs, you bitch." She commented. I had to laugh along with her, "now that one I agree to." "Oh looks like I'll have to call you back, Dolby just got home baby." She sounded hasty. Dolby and Nikita were dating and their relationship was still as strong as ice. They literally lived together. "Okay honey, be careful with the love though." I teased her but her rushed actions didn't give her the time to appreciate my humour. "Bye!" She simply called back and cut me off. I heaved a sigh and shook my head, getting out of the bed to take a shower. I stood in my small closet. Sebastian had stayed long to assist me with unpacking. I got out of my clothes and looked towards the door. A small frown gained its entrance at the sight of the red paint that smeared a little part of it. I wrapped a towel around my breasts and made my way for the shower when I was suddenly stopped by the sound of my ringing phone. I took quick strides towards the bed to retrieve it and took my seat by the edge when I identified the caller to be Sebastian. "Ooh, seems like someone is missing their baby." I teased him, biting on my lower lip in a flirty manner. "Oh you can only assume how I feel, goodness, this is terrible." He grunted. "I miss you too, stop being such a drama queen." I said, falling flat to the bed on my back. "I feel like driving back to see you, this is terrible for me." He complained. I heard the slamming of doors and knitted my eyebrows. "What was that?" I inquired. "The kitchen cabinet, it's no big deal." He chuckled, "I'm making lunch." "You don't want to order something to eat?" I wondered with a smirk. "You know, I could order you if you'd let me though." He faked a Mexican accent and forced a "romantic" growl. "Keep dreaming baby." I smiled and stood to my feet, "I'm off to the bathroom to take a shower, I was thinking of taking a self tour around the school, what do you think?" "I think... you're naked right now. God, Gigi this is definitely hell for me to handle." He groaned in dissatisfaction. "Even the children aren't crying, what's wrong with you? Take a chill pill." I smiled. "But I do look hot though." I moaned, just to get him frustrated the more. "I'm literally driving there right away..." "Relax, just a few more days till it's Friday, first thing after classes, boom, I'll be in the mansion." I tried my best to sound comforting. "Oh alright." He sighed. "Aww, you're just too adorable to be true. Cheer up okay? I'm equally as unhappy as you are about this but mama needs education, hmm?" I said with a lot of hope. "I know. Just miss your presence, we should be arguing about why I shouldn't be eating chocolate right now, then end it with a kiss." He informed me. I frowned, "you're eating chocolate now?" "No, of course not." I could tell he was lying but chose to look past it. "I'll believe your words then." I nodded. "Okay sweetheart, please be good for mama. I'll facetime you and the kids tonight, hmm?" I assured him. "I'll be expecting. In the meantime, send me pictures of you in the shower?" He asked hopefully. "And risk getting them leaked? No thank you." I warned with a bit of enthusiasm. "No, you don't have to be naked. Just when you're done with your bathe and your skin's dripping wet, and then there's the towel wrapped around your skin, revealing a little, you know, the moments where you look like a lost puppy? That's my favourite." He spoke lustfully. "Bye Seb." I rolled my eyes with a grin and hung up before he had the chance to say more. I smiled after that, thinking about how great it was to be with him. I did miss him but I wanted to know how far this would go. I was soon in the tiny shower that separated my body from the world with nothing but a little curtain. I hated the bathroom already. I was so used to the luxury we called our bathroom with a bathtub the size of a pool. I tried to make it snappy and thought about home in the process. It was all too much to take in at once. I thought of Maya and Carlos and how they were going to sleep that night without my reading their favorite bedtime stories. Not that they really understood it but it felt nice to have listening ears like theirs and the love they showered me with was out of this world. To be a mother was so fulfilling. I wore a sad frown just thinking of it. Maybe I'd made a bad decision to stay after all. My thoughts were disrupted when the shower curtain was pulled away. I let out a loud shriek and turned to see who the intruder was. It was a blonde guy with a toothbrush in his mouth. This was a shared bathroom?
