Chapter Three

----- RHEA----- I fell asleep at some point, feeling exhausted. When I woke up, we were pulling up into an extremely long, winding drive way, lined with big trees, which you could not see through. It took us at least five minutes to reach the end of the driveway, and I barely held in a gasp, as I saw the beautiful sight before me. There was a huge fountain in the centre, in front of the humongous mansion. It was all a little overwhelming, and kind of intimidating. The fountain alone, had two mini fountains on either side of it, with the big one in the middle holding a statue. But the house, was the main event. The house was painted a cream color, and had stairs to either side, to make it to the front door. There was a big chandelier hanging from the ceiling, before the huge, beautiful double doors, which went into the house. From the outside, you can see that there were multiple balconies, in the front alone, which I'm sure gave a beautiful view of the beautiful driveway. There were already multiple SUVs parked out front, as Lukas parked the car. He slid out of the car gracefully, and came over to my side, opening the door for me, and holding his hand out. "Thank you." I mumbled, as I took his hand. After I was out, he got the bags from the car, and closed the door, tossing the keys to Blake, who mysteriously, had appeared behind us. I followed Lukas up the stairs, and to the door, marveling at the beauty of even the f*****g tiled floors. A man, who was dressed in a suit, pulled open the door, allowing us to step inside. I looked around the grand foyer, which stood out in its traditional beauty. There were grand staircases on either side, leading to the second floor, and there was a statue in the middle of the large room. There were also two arm chairs tucked into each side of the grand staircases, and a huge chandelier hung from the high ceiling. Although the house was very beautiful, there was a coldness to it. There wasn't any type of warmth to it, almost like it was a museum, more than a house. "Rhea, this is Henry. He's the head butler here. Anything you need, just ask him, and he'd give it to you. I have business to take care of." Lukas said gruffly, handing the bags off to Bennet, and stalking off. "Nice to meet you, Mr. Henry." I said, smiling at him.  I held my hand out for him to shake, and he shook his head, returning a small smile of his own. "Please Miss, Just call me Henry." He said, shaking my hand. "Then I insist on you calling me Rhea." "I don't think that is appropriate, Miss." He said politely. "Please?" I asked, giving him my best puppy dog eyes. He chuckled, before agreeing. "If you insist Rhea." I shot him a beaming smile, and he shook his head in amusement. "I'll be showing you to your room. If you want, I can give you a tour of the place later?" He offered. "That would be nice. Thank you." I said, sincerely. He turned, walking up one side of the grand staircase, and walked down long hallway, before making a right. I gasped, as there were large windows in the hall, overlooking the beautiful coast of Italy. I paused for a moment, mesmerised by the incredible view, only hoping that I would be able to get even a glimpse of this view from my room. I turned and followed Henry who had stopped for me to catch up. "Your room is on the east wing of the house, right across from Master Lukas'." My face scrunched when he called Lukas Master, but he ignored it. He stopped in front of a pair of double doors, opening it, and stepping aside, allowing me to go in first. He placed the bags by the door, before stepping out. "There's an intercom on the wall, please use it if you need any assistance from me." He said, before leaving. I spun around, my purse dropping from my hand, as I looked at the beautiful room. It was way bigger than my one back in Greece, and the size intimidated me a bit. The walls were painted a dark grey color, and there was a huge King size poster bed in the middle of it. Off to the right side, there were two doors that led to the bathroom and closet. On the left side though... My breath caught in my throat. On the left, there were huge floor to ceiling windows, which can open out, onto the huge balcony, where, I'm pretty sure, had more spectacular views like the one I passed in the hallway. There was a huge 85" TV on the wall, and a fireplace underneath it. There were also two arm chairs on either side of the bed. I picked up my handbag, resting it on the bed, before slowly sitting. All in all, from what I've seen of this room, it was f*****g amazing. I got up from the bed, walking to the first door on the right, and opened it. I was right about it being a bathroom, but goddamn. It was f*****g huge. The floors were black marble, and the countertops matched it. All the cabinets and cupboards were painted black. The shower was massive, with a fountain shower head, and nozzles in the wall that shoot out water also. There was a big jacuzzi tub too, with a huge bay window that showed the incredible view of the water and coast. There was also a 45'' flat screen on the wall, and there was a mini sitting area too. I shook my head, amazed at everything. I walked through the other door, and it connected to the biggest closet I have ever seen. My clothes had already been unpacked and it didn't even pick up half of the closet space. I looked around in awe, taking in the seating area, and vanity that it had in the room. It also had another spectacular view of the coast, and I just shook my head. I walked through the door which led back to the bedroom, and walked to the one door that was left. When I opened it, I was surprised to see that it was an office. There was a huge glass desk, and comfy looking leather chair, with two chairs in the front. Behind the leather chair, was once again, that spectacular view. The room was complete with a TV. I walked back out into the bedroom, once again stunned by this amazing place. I laid on the bed for a few minutes with my eyes closed, still feeling kind of tired. I then got up, and unzipped my boots, pulling them off, before pulling my sweater off, leaving me in my bra and jeans. I unbuttoned my jeans, and began pulling it down, when all of a sudden, the door flew open and Lukas stepped in. I screamed, trying to pull my jeans back up. "Jesus f*****g Christ! Can't you knock?!" I yelled, glaring at him. "My house, I do what the f**k I want." He said plainly, closing the door behind him. I rolled my eyes, and muttered some curse words under my breath. "What do you want?" I asked, folding my arms over my chest. His eyes darkened as it raked over my body, and a delicious heat flushed my skin. His eyes came back up to mine, and the look in them made me want to hide.  "Aren't you going to cover up?" His accent as thick as he spoke, and I felt a shiver go down my spine. "No. You came in here while I was undressing. What do you want?" He stalked over to me, and I backed away quickly, turning to run into the bathroom. My attempt was unsuccessful as he caught me, pushing me up against the wall. "You drive me f*****g crazy." He growled. "I can say the same thing." I mumbled. He gave me a wolffish grin, making me roll my eyes. "Can I help you?" I asked, attempting to push him away. "Yes. You can get on your knees and-" I cut him off immediately. "Get the f**k out." I said, pointing at the door behind him. He laughed, stepping away from me, and shoving his hands in his pockets. "I just came to see if you were up to getting a house tour." My eyes widened as I looked at him incredulously. "You want to show me around?" I asked. He rolled his eyes, huffing in annoyance. "You know what, never mind-" I cut him off once again. "Okay, yes you can give me a house tour." I fixed my jeans, and pulled back on my sweater, going into the closet to put on my nike slides. I walked back towards where he was standing with his phone. "Let's go." I mumbled. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- First of all, this house is so f*****g big. But I would not deny, that all around, there was some of the most beautiful views of Italy I have ever seen. The house had four floors, and we started from the first. He took me back to the entry way, off to the side, where there was a really grand, formal living room. The wall was painted the same sort of cream, champagne color as the foyer,  and was filled with classic looking furniture. There was a fire place on the wall, and a mantle over it with pictures of people that I did not really recognize. I knew better than to ask though. There was also a huge center table between the chairs, with a large center piece on it. Off to the side, there was a wall with book shelves, full of books, and a huge grand piano, on the other side of the room. I walked towards it, almost mesmerized by its beauty. I brushed my fingers across the keys, and looked toward Lukas. "Do you play?" I asked. "Not really, but it has been in my family for a long time, so I had to keep it." He shrugged. "May I?" I asked, gesturing towards the piano. "Sure." I sat on the bench, and he came and sat next to me. "What are you going to play?" He asked. I looked down at the keys, brushing my hands over them softly once again. "One of my favorites, you'll see." I started playing Runaway, by Kanye West, and began singing the lyrics with it. Runaway- Kanye West; " And I always find, yeah I always find somethin' wrong You been puttin' up wit' my s**t just way too long I'm so gifted at findin' what I don't like the most So I think it's time for us to have a toast Let's have a toast for the douche bags Let's have a toast for the assholes Let's have a toast for the scumbags Every one of them that I know Let's have a toast for the jerk offs That'll never take work off Baby, I got a plan Run away fast as you can..." As I played the last note, and sang the last word, I glanced at Lukas, finding that he was already looking at me. "What?" I mumbled, a blush spreading across my cheeks. "You're amazing..." He breathed. I looked away from him, my cheeks growing hotter. "Can you play another song for me?" He asked. "Sure. On one condition." I said. "What's that?"  "You have to sing it with me." I said, smiling mischievously. "No, I don't sing." "Oh c'mon, please?" I whined. "No, Rhea."  I leaned up to whisper in his ear. "Please?" I put my hand on his jean clad thigh, and heard him growl. "You're crossing over into dangerous territory, Rhea." "Please sing with me, Lukas." "Okay, fine." He rolled his eyes. "Thank you, now what is the next song?" I asked. "Angel, by The Weeknd." I started playing the instrumental, and then we we both started singing. Angel- The Weeknd; "Angel, oh oh oh oh Knew you were special from the moment I saw you, I saw you, yeah I said angel, oh oh oh oh I feel you're closer every time I call you, I call you Cause all I see are wings, I can see your wings But I know what I am and the life I live, yeah, the life I live And even though I sin, maybe we are born to live But I know time will tell if we're meant for this, yeah, if we're meant for this And if we're not I hope you find somebody I hope you find somebody I hope you find somebody I hope you find somebody to love..." As I hit the last note, my eyes locked on to Lukas', and we both began to lean in. Before our lips can touch though, I pulled back, looking away from bis hypnotizing eyes. "You're a really good singer. I don't know why you didn't want to sing." I said as I stood, and put some distance between Lukas and myself. "I just don't like it." He shrugged, standing also. I didn't say anything else, folding my arms over my chest and looking everywhere but at him. "Do you want to continue the tour?" He asked, and I nodded. We both walked out of the formal living room and down the hall, where he led me into another hallway, and stopped at the large double doors. "This is my office." He said, but didn't move to open the doors. I rose an eyebrow at him. "Can I see it?" I asked, folding my arms. "No. I don't want you in here, unless I tell you to come in." He said seriously. I nodded, even though I knew I'd be in there when I wanted. We walked back out into the main hall, continuing down it, and into a huge kitchen. It kept with the same classic, kind of vintage styling of the house, and I loved it. There was a huge island, that looked like it can sit an entire football team, and it was completed with a wide sink, and surprisingly, a bowl full of fresh fruits. All the appliances were modern and stainless steel. There was also a door leading to the backyard, and I couldn't wait to go see it, as I can already see the that amazing view. Right next to the kitchen, there was an informal living room, that had a recliner sectional, that looked so f*****g comfy to curl up on, and a huge 85'' flat screen TV. I could tell there were lots of floor to ceiling windows, but there were heavy drapes that made it impossible to see outside. He then led me outside, and I couldn't help the amazed gasp that escaped me as we did. The backyard was huge, and amazing. There's a huge infinity pool, and hot tub, that overlooked that amazing view that I have fallen in love with. In the pool, there were some lounge chairs on the steps. There was also this huge patio area with lots of chairs, tables, and lounge chairs, perfect for hosting parties. There was also an outside kitchen, and a f*****g bar, along with a pool house. I shook my head in my amazement. "This place is f*****g huge." I mumbled. "It has to be when there's at least 20-30 persons living here." He snorted. My eyes, shot up to his, and I'm pretty sure my jaw dropped. "Close your mouth before I put something in it." Lukas smirked. "You're a pig." I scoffed. "And why the f**k are so many people living here?" "Well, there's the guards all around the house, there's Blake, Apollo, Scar,  Carter, and Bennet and the other staff." "Holy fuck." I muttered. Lukas grabbed my chin, forcing me to look up into those beautiful, yet scary eyes. "Stop cursing. Words like that should not be coming out a pretty mouth like that." I yanked my face away from him, and rolled my eyes. "Go f**k yourself." I turned away from him, and only managed two steps, before I was grabbed and slammed into a hard chest. "What the f**k did I tell you, Rhea?" "I don't have to listen to you, Lukas." "Oh you don't huh?" He reached into his pocket, and before I knew it, he had a switch blade pressed into my throat. "You want to say that again, amore?" I felt the knife press harder against my throat, and I took deep breaths, trying not to move suddenly. "You're going to learn to f*****g listen to me Rhea, because I do not f*****g like repeating myself." He moved the blade away from me, and let me go, placing it in his pocket once again. He turned me to face him, and grabbed my hand, a cynical smile on his face, " Now, let's finish the tour."
