Chapter 2 “I went to the beach,” said Caleb. “The nude beach, actually.” Richard smiled. “And that made you happy?” “Yes, it did. I’d forgotten how happy the beach makes me. The fresh air. The feeling of the sun beating down on my bare flesh. The cool water. I enjoy walking along the beach, discovering what the sea has washed up. I found a starfish. I’d never seen one before.
