Two            Brynjar flew back to Drangar as fast he could. He wanted to get Eira back to where the snow never came and the ground was filled with green grass and dandelions. The weather was a mixture of summer with warm rain. He knew she would like it there. That was the home of the dragon bloods.            "We're almost there." Brynjar told Eira.          Eira nodded her head, almost dozing off in his arms. Brynjar felt her grip loosen around his neck and he looked down at her. Her eyes were shutting, exhausted from the long trip.          "I need you to stay awake." He told her.         "I'm sorry." She told him. "Im just so tired."                  She gripped him as tight as she could and rested her head on his shoulder.          "Are we going to your home?" She asked him.         "Yes."                 She exhaled deeply and glanced at Sigurd and Destin, who was flying right behind them.        "You'll like it there." Sigurd said. "Its different compared to that blizzard you called home."         Eira chuckled and pressed her cold nose into Brynjar's neck.          "Our sister, Eydis, is excited to see you." Destin said.          "Hopefully your people like me." Eira whispered to Brynjar.         "There's no likes or dislikes once it comes to our brother's wife." Sigurd told Eira. "But, you won't be welcomed. So, heed this warning."         "Hold on." Brynjar told Eira.         Eira held on to him as he dove from the sky down to the ground. Just feeling that dip caused Eira's stomach to turn.          "We're here." Brynjar told her.        She looked down as he descended. She saw the green grass and she felt the summer breeze, even though it was the middle of January. Brynjar and his brothers slammed down onto the ground. He placed Eira down and she looked around the area.       "Welcome to Drangar." Brynjar told her. "Follow me to the gates."        She placed her hand in his and they walked to the gates together. The gates looked like ancient dragon artifacts. There was statues of the dragons everywhere around the city. The gates only had one dragon in the middle and a horn hanging underneath the dragon's feet.         Brynjar released Eria's hand once he got close to the gate. He pressed his index finger against his lips, taking a deep breath in.         "Back up." Sigurd told Eria.         As soon as she stepped back, Brynjar released huge burst of flames from his mouth. The flames went into the horn on the gate, causing the dragon's eyes to light up.         "Everybody does this?" Eira asked.        "Not everybody." Brynjar stated.                 The gate opened up, revealing the town behind it. Brynjar walked in with his brothers' on his side. Eira stayed back, enjoying the view of the gated town.          "Come on!" Destin shouted.         Eira walked through the gates and she was already getting looked at by many females. Brynjar loved the envy from both genders. Men wanted her and women envied her.         "We'll give you the tour later." Sigurd told her. "Or would you like to be with your husband?"         Eira glanced up, catching Brynjar staring at her. She gave him a small smile and nodded her head. She wanted to spend time with the man she was going to call husband soon.          "First, our parents would like to meet with you." Brynjar told her.          He walked off and Eira followed, checking out the town that was mostly made of stone walls. The town was already in defense mode. The way that it was built was clear that they were prepared for anything. Nothing was going to be able to destroy that town.           "Has anybody tried to raid you guys?" Eira asked Sigurd and Destin as they proceeded on through town.          "Tried and failed, my lady." Destin said. "Majority of us are dragonborn and the most who tried to invade us was-."          "Mortals." Eira finished his sentence.          "Correct. Only mortals try to take what we have and never succeed."          Women and children were gathered around in a huge circle, laughing and playing like a huge family. Brynjar stopped next to them and whistled, gaining their attention in a quickness. The women bowed their head to Brynjar.          "Jarl Brynjar, welcome back." They said in unison.          Their eyes turned to Eira, who stood next to him and Eira felt the heated tension in the air. Sigurd whistled as him and Destin felt the tension as well.           "Man, I feel the heat." Destin laughed.                        The door behind the women opened and a redhead female rushed out of the house with a huge smile on her face that revealed the dimples in her cheeks. She jumped on Sigurd and shared a romantic embrace.              "You're back." She said with excitement. "I missed my husband, dearly."             "I missed you as well, my love." Sigurd said as he pressed his forehead against hers.            The woman hopped down off of Sigurd and punched Destin in the arm before she turned her attention to Eira. The two stared at each other for the longest time.             "Who is this?" The redhead asked Brynjar.           "This is the lady who is marrying your Jarl tonight." Destin explained. "Eira, this is my wife, Alva."          "She's not from our clan." Alva said. "Why'd you choose an foreigner? What, the women in this clan are not good enough for you?"               Brynjar noticed Eira tense up at Alva's remark. He walked over to her and placed his hand in hers while glaring at Alva.          "She shouldn't be here." Another woman said in the crowd of women. "You are breaking tradition and that's wrong."         Eira hated the pressure she was feeling. She had a feeling the women were not going to be happy about him marrying a new girl. However, the hate was stronger than what she had imagined. Destin placed his hand on her shoulder and she glanced up at him.        "Don't listen to them." He whispered to her. "They're jealous that they weren't chosen as the Jarl's wife."       "Let them bicker." Brynjar said. "They just envy you."       Brynjar turned his attention to Sigurd. He needed to control his wife because she was being disrespectful. Sigurd grabbed his wife by the arm and pulled her away.         "My brother is back, I can see." Brynjar's sister, Eydis said as she joined the crowd.          Eydis was very gorgeous in Eira's eyes. Her golden brown curls that sat above her shoulders. Her blueish-green eyes that sparkled when she talked. Her body build was amazing. She had muscles but not as much as the men. She had big breast that sat up on her chest. Her legs were toned and she had a lot on her backside.         "Mom and dad are waiting for you." Eydis told Brynjar, then she glanced at Eira. "You could come to."        "She was going as well." Brynjar said with confidence.           With Eira's hand in his, Brynjar guided her to the dining hall, where is parents awaited for him. As they proceeded to the hall, Eira noticed more eyes were on her. She closed the gap between her and Brynjar. Brynjar wrapped his arms around her and the security that she longed for began to form. She knew then that he would never let anyone hurt her.         "I never thought they would be that jealous of her." Eydis told Brynjar. "You picked a golden bride, this time. Now, we need to get through our parents' wrath."         "So, they're mad?" Brynjar asked his sister.         "Very."         They all walked into the dining hall and went to stand where Jarl Gunbrand sat with his four wives.          "Damn, everyone is involved?" Brynjar asked his father as they got closer to the stand.          His father sighed as he stared at his youngest son with disappointment.                   "You seem to like disobeying my orders, Brynjar." Gunbrand told his son.         Eydis grabbed Eira's hand and she led her to one of the tables within the building. Eira took a seat next to Eydis and turned to Brynjar. He glanced at her before he turned back to his father.        "You were supposed to take that trip with me." Gunbrand reminded Brynjar. "Sometimes, I question myself on whether I made the right decision on making you the Jarl of Dragons."        "Because I went to go get the lady I'm supposed to marry?" Brynjar asked in frustration.         "Because you left without me!" Gunbrand's voice boomed in the hall.            Brynjar rolled his eyes and placed his hands into his pockets as he waited for his father to finish. He was not in the mood to talk to him when he had company. Plus, the wedding was that night. He needed to make sure everything was prepared.         "Is the wedding tonight?" Brynjar's mother, Ceidra, asked her only son. "Is everything prepared?"        "I don't know." Brynjar answered. "I would love to go and see."         "It is." Eydis chimed in. "I made my way over to the kitchen to check if the food was prepared. Everything will be done by tonight as planned."        "Can we see your bride now?" Sigurd's mother, Alvida asked.         Eira got up from the table and walked to Brynjar's side. The five of them stared at her and Jarl Gunbrand licked his lips before he directed his attention back to Brynjar.        "This is the one you're supposed to marry?" Gunbrand asked his son. "You couldn't pick someone from the clan?"        "That's like me asking you if you could've stuck with one woman instead of f*****g on three more."        Brynjar's mother, Ceidra, chuckled from her son's remark. Gunbrand snapped his head in her direction and Ceidra ceased the laughter.         "You seem to like pissing me off." Gunbrand told Brynjar. "Don't get embarrassed in front of your future bride."               Brynjar took a step closer to the stage. Ceidra whistled and shook her head at her daring son. Respecting his mother's silent tip, Brynjar backed up. His mother turned her attention to Eira, who stood there staring at Brynjar.         "What do they call you, child?" Ceidra asked her.        "Eira." Eira introduced herself.        "You do know that my son's clan will not accept you at first?"         "Yes, ma'am. I got a firsthand look at that when I arrived."        "What are you?" Gunbrand asked Eira.        "The horns that sit on your head let's me know you are a seeress." Destin's mother, Gull, chimed in.        Everyone in the room turned Eira's way, except Brynjar.         "Well?" Gull asked. "Are you a witch?         "Enough!" Brynjar snapped. "I will not have you pestering her in my presence!"        "Answer the question." Gunbrand demanded. "Do you practice black magic?"        "No." Eira said.        "What's with the horns?" Gull asked.        "Why do you care?" Brynjar asked her.        Eira was feeling the same way she felt with the group of women that jumped on her when she was just entering the town. Brynjar walked over to Eira and grabbed her hand. That calmed Eira down, quickly.        "I'm a Wiccan and Dragonborn mixed." Eira told them.         Gunbrand stared at the young lady for a minute. She reminded him of someone he knew in the past.        "Who are your parents?" Gunbrand asked her.             Eira announced her parents and Gunbrand stood up in a heartbeat. He could not believe that his old friend fathered a rare child.        "Ralph?" Ciedra asked. "Wasn't he your old friend who left the town many years ago to raise a family?"      "Yes."      Gunbrand sighed and rubbed his long golden beard as he studied the girl in front of him.      "Father, we need to cut this conversation short." Eydis said. "She needs to prepare for her wedding."      "Of course." Ceidra said. "Dear, can they be excused?"             The three other wives stood there, staring at Eira in silence. They were trying to study the girl, but could not find anything on her.        "You're going to get a lot of hate for this." Gunbrand told Brynjar. "Doesn't that bother you?"       "Never." Brynjar told his father.        "You can go, my child." Ceidra said.        Brynjar bowed to his mother, then he walked off with Eira and his siblings. Once they exited the hall, Destin turned to his younger brother.       "Ignore him." Destin told him. "We don't care who you marry. As long as she's on your side and she loves you."       "I'm still intrigued to know about your magic, Eira." Eydis said, placing a hand under her chin.        "I don't do black magic." Eira told them. "My magic has always had positive effects."                The door behind them opened up and Ceidra came out. She glanced at the group and sighed.        "Still lounging around?" She asked them.       "Eira and I were heading to the quarters." Eydis said. "I wanted to show her around."       "Introduce her to the ladies as well." Ceidra told her. Like the others, you will have jobs to do. Everybody here works if they want to have food on the table and warm water to wash their ass in. Just because you are to marry the Jarl, doesn't mean you are limited to working."              Eira already knew she was going to have to work. Things did not come for free in the world. You had to work for it.         "I'll show her the things she'll do." Eydis told Ceidra.         "Your father wants you boys in the war room." Ceidra said to Sigurd, Brynjar and Destin.         "We'll be there." Brynjar told his mother.       Even though Brynjar did not listen to his father, he always respected his mother. Ceidra walked to her son and hugged him before she departed back into the hall where the other wives were.        "We'll see you guys later." Eydis told her brothers. "Follow me, Eira."              Eira released Brynjar's hand as she followed behind Eydis. Brynjar watched Eira leave his side before he turned to his brothers.       "Let's go." He told them and they left in the other direction.
