Four Years Ago Aria's P.O.V I was late for the party. My mom was going to kill me and my dad was going to give me hell. I'm screwed. I walked in quickly and hoped for the best. As I walked in, I tripped a little and I knew I was going to hit the floor hard. Instead, a pair of arms grabbed me in time and helped me up. "Thank you so much for saving me right there," I said. "No problem. You would've had a hard fall," I heard a man say. I looked up and saw a pair of blue eyes stare into mine. We stared at each other for a bit before I was the one to break our silence. "Aria Harrison," I smiled offering a handshake. "Beck. Beck Edwards," He said. His name sounded familiar but I couldn't figure it out. He took my hand and placed a kiss on the top. My heart fluttered making me blush a little. "Are you here for the party?" I asked. "Yup. I sense you are too." "Yeah. My parents are friends with the host so they kinda forced me to come here," I said. "Really?" "Yeah. What about you?" I asked. "Charles happens to be an old partner of mine," He said. "Partner? Wait, you're Beck Edwards. The millionaire who runs Edwards company and owns one of the hotels in Vegas?" I asked. "That's me." "Wow. I thought you'd be busy and not be here at a little party," I said. "I get that a lot. Would you like to grab a drink?" Beck asked. "I'd love to," I smiled. We walked into the fancy party and we grabbed two glasses of champagne. "Aria," I heard. I saw my parents walk over and I gave a fake smile. I knew they were pissed on how late I was. "Hi mom. Dad," I said. "Where were you? We were worried," My mother said. "Well-" "I'm sorry. She and I were talking outside for a while. Guess we both lost track in time and we came inside for the party," Beck said coming in to save me. I looked at him and he smiled at us. "Y-Yeah. What he said," I said going along with the story. "Really?" My father asked. "Yes. Sorry about that. Aria here almost tripped but luckily I saved her," Beck said telling them what happened not too long ago. "Yup." "And I was hoping she would dance with me right now," Beck said. "Oh, well, go ahead you two," my mother said. I was a bit in shock and Beck lead me to the dance floor. He wrapped one arm around my waist and held one of my hands up. I placed mine on his shoulder and we started to move to the music. "You just got me out of being yelled at from my parents and from falling on my face. How can I ever repay you?" I asked. "Let me take you on a date Friday night," Beck told me. "Deal," I smiled.
