Pandemonium: when all f*****g hell breaks loose       May 7th 2040 " CATCH HER! DON'T YOU DARE LET HER LEAVE THE TERRITORY" the piercing scream of my pack alpha vibrating throughout the forest demanding anyone near to submit and follow out his demands. Fear; fear is all i felt running through the woods in the early hours of the night. The sound of my own heart trying to beat its way out of my chest. The erratic thumping drowning out the angry screams of my supposed pack members. The night fog clouding my sight, making the way out almost impossible to find. If not for my new senses. Fear is a funny feeling, it reeks throughout your whole body putting you on high alert. it causes your body to work in overdrive trying to find a sense of safety in the chaos while simultaneously emitting pheromones announcing your fear to any predator near. "Dawn baby stop hiding, come back to me." his sick voice made my body shudder in fear. I could feel him getting closer to me. The tears in my eyes wouldn't stop falling, clouding my vision even more. However, the fear I had of him and what he could do only made me push my little legs harder. I Just needed to reach the river. If I made it across the river they wouldn't dare follow me outside of pack lands. not at night at least. I never thought my life would turn out this way. Nine years ago my life was perfect. I was born into a small peaceful pack in North Dakota. "The lunar eclipse pack" my father was the beta. I was supposed to be his heir. The first female Beta. My pack members were all good people led by our alpha who against stereotypical alphas was a sweet caring man but I fear that's what got him killed. The day of my 6th birthday HE came to kill our alpha. And from the moment he arrived he brought nothing but chaos and death. No longer were we the lunar eclipse but now the " blood moon pack". No longer was i the future beta but an omega that HE had a sick desire towards. And from that moment on the abuse and torture started. I had to push these thoughts to the back of my mind. And focus on the task at hand. The river! I needed to reach the river once I crossed the river. I can run to the safe place my mother told me about before she risked her own life to save me. I couldn't get caught and let her death be in vain. So with that final thought I gripped the small sheet of paper with the barely readable addresses scribbled on it in my mother's messy handwriting, tightly in my fist and pushed myself to run faster. I Ran until I no longer could hear the screams of my pack, I ran until I bypassed the river, and I kept running for four day never once stopping to take a break I wouldn't no I couldn't stop until I was sure it was safe, I let my wolf lead me in the right direction praying to the moon goddess that I was going in the right direction. On the fourth day my wolf slowed to stop in front of a small cottage house in the woods. I felt drained; all the adrenaline I once had was no longer pumping through my veins. The closer I got to the home the safer I felt. A sense of warmth and protection washed over me. The feeling frightened me however my wolf welcomed the feelings. I could feel my body shutting down from the exhaustion, my eyes grew heavy,  my head started spinning, and my eyes rolled back and all I saw was black.
