Wolf?

*Ellie POV*

"We meet again Princess" ???

I tilted my head to the boy and in a small whisper "A-again?" To say I was confused was an understatement. I was about to ask who he is until the wave of pain came back and had me ball up in pain. Tears streaming down my face from this unknown source of pain. I did my best to muffle my screams in a pillow. 

The bed dipped and I was wrapped in the boy's arms. "shh you'll be okay. The pain will end once you have shifted." He then handed me some pain killers and that made the pain manageable enough to walk. I gave him a look of confusion after he said shifted. Then pushed myself away from him.

He understood what I meant and let go of me but still sat on the bed. "My name is Jay King and I am the wolf that saved you when you were 7." He said as he rubbed the back of his neck with a nervous smile. It took me a minute to process what he said before I started laughing. 

"haha.. the wolf ha, yeah totally. And I'm the Easter Bunny!" I soon regret laughing when he stood up quick and his eyes where glowing a fire red?! "Ahh, y-your eyes are g-glowing!" I stuttered as I scooted towards the headboard of the bed and covered my eyes in fear.

"You don't believe me so I'll just show you" Jay said which got me curious. So I uncovered my eyes and standing there where was the black wolf with the silver paw. He started to come towards me and I got frightened so he stopped. He put his ears down and tried to make himself smaller to show he meant no harm. Making his way towards me and nudging my hand with his snout. He was a very beautiful wolf.

The wolf hopped on the bed and nuzzled into my neck. "Hehe, s-stop that ticklesss" I said but then the wolf started to lick me making me laugh more and have a weird tingling sensation. When the wolf stop he sat on the bed and turned back to Jay?! "Y-you weren't lying" I questioned with a look of amazement.

"Not at all princess" Jay smiled seeing I wasn't scared. "And before you ask, yes I know your name Ellie Dream." I gave a shook look but he explained that he knew me since I was little. His parents were close friends with mine. 

"Thank you for saving me back then" I looked in my lap as I whispered. I felt a hand under my chin which made me look at him. He smiled at me and kiss my forehead.

"I will always protect you my little mate" Jay said with a promising smile on his face. mate? I thought to myself. He must've noticed my confusion because he explained things about a Moon Goddess creating all werewolves other half. He said they are meant to be together forever. "Also the pain you are feeling is because you have come of age to shift and meet your wolf spirit."

"M-me a wolf? But I am a normal human. My parents were normal humans as well." I said with a look of disbelief. My parents would've told or I would've noticed them being wolves. Right?

"Yes, you are a wolf. You are the daughter of Luna Queen Athena and Alpha King Stephen"
