Zack's P.O.V
I was sitting down at the couch in my office reading the terms of the contract prepared for the meeting today when I heard a male's voice talking to Sam. I listened to it my wolf was getting angry that a different guy was talking to her.
"Mmmm this is great can I hire you as my secretary then?" He asked.
What the? No way! You've crossed the line brother.
"NO"I firmly said.
They both look at me surprised. Sam went to my side.
"Zack, Tony is here for your meeting."Sam she said introducing the guy that she was talking to.
I just kept on glaring at the guy. Testing him.
"Sweetheart why don't you get me some coffee." I said as I grabbed her by the waist.
I saw her cheeks turn red.
"Awww so adorable" My wolf commented.
"Mr.Scott, nice to meet you. If I may, let's talk in my office."I said.
"Pleasure to meet you too, Mr.Fenner." He said.
We went in to my office and we both sat down. There was an awkward silence.
"Are you and Samantha together?" He asked.
"Y-" I was about to answer but Samantha interrupted me.
"-No! of course not he's my boss Tony." She said.
My wolf whimpered at her statement. I felt a twinge of pain in my chest.
"Oh I see...so I still have a chance then?" He smiled then winked at Sam.
My wolf was ready to rip this man in front of me apart. I didn't realize I was growling.
"Zack are you alright?" She said then rushed to my side.
She touched my chest and then my forehead.
"I think you were growling?" She said unsure.
"I'm fine sweetheart. Don't worry." I said smiling at her.
"Again with the pet name Zack" She said.
"Hahahaha...What pet name sweetheart?"I asked.
"Ugghhh...you'll regret it if I found you a pet name Zack" She said.
Oh I will surely wait for that to happen. I'm sure I'd like it anyways.
"Ehem!"Tony interrupted our moment.
"Oh sorry didn't notice you there"I said smirking.
"So about the plan of is being partners. What do you say?" He asked.
"Sweetheart can you give me the files I asked you for?"I asked.
"Again with the sweetheart...here"she said handing over the files.
"I can see that your company has been very successful this past few years although your company has a few flaws itself like the leakage of info last year and the loans were high on the bank. I might have to think about this deal longer. We might need to reschedule this contract signing" I said.
"What? why?" He asked.
"As I said your company is unstable and we want a partner that can withstand and expand through the years and I don't think your company can handle it at the moment." I said.
"I see. Thank you for your time though." He said as he stood up brushed up his suit and straightened his tie.
We shook hands and he looked at Samantha.
"Bye Samantha call me." He said then walked off.
I growled at the thought of my Sam calling him. I know...I know I'm possessive and I'm proud of it. I just know when to protect what is mine when I feel threatened by thieving guys like him.
"Sam."I said calling her attention.
"Your not gonna call him are you?"I asked.
"I don't know" She answered.
"What do you mean you don't know?" I asked.
"Well you might need me to ask for a meeting again so I might?" She answered.
"Have you eaten lunch?" I asked.
"Nope. Not yet are you hungry I can but you food just tell me what you want." She said.
"You." My wolf purred.
"Behave." I told my wolf.
"I think I want to eat out for lunch." I said.
"Oh ok, just call me when your about to go back." She said.
"No your coming with me sweetheart and no buts." I said
"What?"she said.
"Let's go"I said pulling her.
Samantha's P.O.V
It was lunch time and Zack decided to pull me along with him in a restaurant.There was an old waitress that approached us.
"Hi I like to get a table for 2 please." Zack said.
"Sure thing follow me." She said and lead us to our table near the window.
"There you go so here's the menu I'll come back later for your orders." She said as she handed us the menu and smiled at us.
"Hmmm I've never tried eating here before so I have no idea what to get what do you recommend I should get?" I said to Zack.
"Uhmm the steak here is absolutely delicious I swear." He said.
"Steak it is then." I said smiling at him
After a few minutes the waitress came back with a small notepad on her hand.
"So can I know what you two lovebirds are getting?" She asked smiling at us andI saw Zack smiled after her comment.
"We would like 2 steaks please." He said.
"How do you like your steak done?" She asked.
"For me I like medium rare and for the lady?" He said looking at me.
"Medium well done please." I said.
"Would that be all?" She asked.
"And a bottle of your finest wine please." He added.
"Okay. It'll be served after a few minutes." The waitress said then left
"Sooo...tell me about yourself" He said
"Well my name is Samantha Collins. I'm 20 years old. I work at Fenner Corp.,I graduated at Harvard c*m laude and I uhmm...I kinda...I live alone...My Parents died just last year...at a car accident and I live alone at our house." I said.
"I'm sorry to hear that" He said.
"Uhmm it's okay you didn't know"I said.
"How bout' you?" I asked him.
"Well my name is Zachary Fenner. I am 22 years old. I graduated at Harvard Magna c*m Laude.I also work at Fenner Corp.,My parents are still both alive and I live at a condo alone. Although I visit My dad and mom as often as I could." He said.
"Oh so you are older than me." I said surprised.
I thought he was only the same age as me.
"Yes...hahaha my looks can be deceiving. I may look a bit younger than my age." He said.
"HAHAHA true that." I agreed.
"I'm really sorry about what happened to your parents." He said holding my hand and gave it a slight squeeze.
"It's okay really the one that was at fault is already in jail."I said.
"So what are your hobbies?"I asked him.
"Well I like sports I play basketball and badminton. I jog in the morning when I'm free and I also cook and bake things when I have some spare time at home." He said.
"Really? You know how to cook, that's awesome." I asked surprised.
"I know right...shocking told you my looks can be deceiving but don't let it deceive you." He said.
"That's awesome, I find it really attractive if a guy knows how to cook well." I said to him.
He smiled at me.
"Thank you. I would love to cook for you some time, maybe I can invite you over to have dinner at my place that would be great." He said.
"Let's see but for sure I'd love to taste your meals." I replied
"Well how about you then, What do you do for fun?" He asked.
"Well I also do sports I go to the gym and I also play badminton and jog, then I cook or bake and read."I said.
"Oooh both nerdy and sporty..."he said laughing.
"Yeah...yeah I know."I said laughing with him.
"So do you have a boyfriend?" He asked.
"Nope." I answered.
"How about you do you have a girlfriend?"I asked.
"None but I'm ready to have one." He said.
After a few minutes our order came.
"Hmmm this is delicious. "I said.
"I told you so." He said smiling.
We enjoyed our lunch having small talks about ourselves.
