Zack's P.O.V
"Can I ask who is my secretary?" I asked the receptionist.
She was staring at me.
"Oh Good Morning sir! uhmmm that will be Ms.Collins your Father's secretary." She said regaining her professional tone.
"Ms.Collins? Okay is she here?" I asked.
"Yes Sir, She's here, she actually signed up just before you arrived." She said checking the records.
"Well if you see her please tell her to come to my office. Thank you for your help." I said smiling.
Again she stared at me and I kept waiting for her reply.
"Y-yes sir." She answered

I went to my private elevator to get to my office. There were too many questions running through my head.I placed my things on the table and sat on my swivel chair.
Why is my mate here at the office?
Was she working here?
Why did she run away?
Was she scared?
Where did she go?
Will I ever find her?
"Ugggh!!!"I shout out due to my frustration.
"Relax you would find out mate soon!"My wolf said.
"How can you be so sure that we would?"I asked.
"Because I have my instincts something you would never understand" He replied.
"Yeah right-"I said.
There was a sudden knock on my door maybe it was my secretary.
"Come in." I said.
It was the receptionist lady earlier.
"Sir your secretary. Uhmmm she asked me to say that she will be leaving early today though she already left too." She said.
Well that's inappropriate and very unprofessional of her. I'm sure that my father already told her that I was arriving today.
"What?!? Why?" I asked.
"She said she felt bad." She said.
What am I supposed to do now? She has my father's schedules guess I'll just find some things that I could do.
"Oh...ok you can leave now." I said to her.
She was on her way out when I stopped her. She turned around.
"Can you give me her number so I can settle my schedule out with her?" I asked.

"Sure thing Sir. I'll just send it to your E-mail later." She replied smiling and went out.
Samantha's P.O.V
Oh gosh! Why was he heading in our direction looking straight at me. He looked a little off maybe he was mad at me for bumping with him....geez! I'm dead!
Was that disrespecting though? I was sure that I apologized. Did I? Well from the way he was staring, I don't think so?
"Hey Samantha." Carol greeted me.
Carol was the receptionist here.
"Mr.Fenner wanted to see you in his office." She said.
I am so dead. I'm sure I apologized plus it was a minor accident. I'm sure He isn't that shallow. Right?
"Uhmmm did he....look pissed?" I asked unsure.
"I'm not sure but he looked a little off." She said.
Oh....I'm definitely going to get fired gotta find a way out.
"Uhmm can you tell Mr.Fender I'm going home early." I said to her.
"But why?" She asked.
"I'm feeling sick?" I said unsure.
"Your feeling sick?" She asked looking at me.
"YES." I said.
"You don't look sick." She said.
"Can you do me this favor? Please Carol please." I asked.
"Okay fine." She said defeated.
"Yay!!!" I said.
"Yeah sure hahahaha!" She said.
"Thank you!" I said happily.
"You're very welcome Samantha." She said.
"Okay bye now I' m gonna go." I said.
"Bye." She waved at me.
I went down at the car park to fetch my car.
I am soooo dead tomorrow maybe I can avoid him? Who am I kidding he's the boss and I'm his secretary how can I avoid him?
I'll just accept what happens.
And I hope it's not gonna end up badly.
I drove home and ate dinner before I slept.
Zack's P.O.V
I was home now and it's 9:30 p.m.
I was at my house when I received the email from Carol. I quickly looked at it.
From: Unknown Number
"Sir this is her number ***********
you can just contact her.
~Carol"
I quickly replied.
"Thank you"
I saved Carol's number just in case.
Zack's P.O.V
I got the number and decided to call it but I forgot that I didn't get her name so I decided to call my dad to ask her name.
After a few rings he answered.
"Hello dad?" I said.
"Why son?" He asked.
"What's your secretary's name dad?"I asked.
"Samantha."He answered.
I don't know but I think I felt chills upon hearing her name.
"Oh I see...Thanks dad" I said.
"Why are you asking son? Weren't you introduced to her today?" He asked.
"She left early today I didn't settled my schedule with her,she left without me meeting her." I said.
"That's odd this is the first time she has done that maybe it was an emergency. So how was your first day at work? " My dad said.
I remembered that I met my mate!
"Dad! I forgot to tell you I met my mate at the office." I said happily.
"Really?!?!?! That's great son! What's her name?" He asked excited.
"I....I don't know dad. she left...I didn't get the chance to meet her." I said sadly.
"It's okay son I'm sure you'll meet her soon specially you said that she was in the office."He said.
"Thanks dad." I said.
"No problem son. I have to go bye." He said.
"Bye."I said and ended my call.
So I saved my secretary's number I plan to call her today. So I did.
*Calling Samantha*
After a few rings she picked up.
"Hello?" She answered.
I felt my heartbeat stop h-her voice! It felt like music to my ears it was my mate's voice!
"Hello?" She repeated.
I don't know but I can't find my voice to answer back.
"Hello is someone there?" She asked.
I think I'm enchanted by her voice. I found my mate! My heart is like gonna explode with so much joy and to add more to it she's my secretary! This day is so awesome!
"Look I'm so tired right now and I have a problem my boss might fire me tomorrow so I'm gonna end this call to rest I need all my energy for tomorrow." She said slightly sobbing.
WAIT! What?!?! Fire her? I won't do such thing!
"I won't ever do that I hate making you cry mate."my wolf whimpered.
It pains me to hear her crying and I can't do anything about it.
"Wait! NO! Don't hang up." I said.
"Who is this?" She asked.
Uhmmm what should I answer? Should I tell her my real name or a different one?
"Tell her your real name! You would look like a creep if you don't." My wolf suggested.
"I'm Zack Fenner." I said.
Samantha's P.O.V
I was literally crying on my bed I'm gonna lose my job tomorrow but then my phone rang I answered it but no one answered so I decided to tell I'm hanging up until.
"Wait! no! Don't hang up" The voice said.
I think it's a guy. Though it wasn't Alex. Who might this be.
"Who is this?" I asked.
"I'm Zack Fenner" He said.
Zack Fenner? I don't know anyone named Zack. Wait Fenner?! My new boss?
"Uhmmm are you still there?" He asked.
What should I do?
"I'm still here Sir..."I said unsure.
"Just so you know I won't fire you...and why would I ?"He said.
"I thought you were mad because I bump in with you..."I said.
There was silence.
"Hahahahahahaha!!!" His laughter was enchanting.
Wait what? What am I saying and why is he laughing? Was what I said funny?
"Uhmmm...." I said not sure what to say to him.
"Sorry...It's not enough reason to fire you Samantha." He said.
How did he know my name? I forgot he's my boss.
I felt chills as he said my name....what is happening to me?
"Anyways good night I'll just meet you at the office tommorrow okay?" He said.
"Good night" I said.
*call ended*
I put my phone to the night stand next to my bed then cuddled up to my pillow.
