Rosalie Bridgestone is a 21-year-old virgin intended for the auctions by her parents who need the money to raise her four younger brothers. She was never allowed to date or have friends of the opposite s*x to insure she stay intact. Rosalie was very well cared for and pampered in hopes she would fetch a high price. The only distraction from her impending fate was her best friend Misty Freeman who was only a few months older than she was. They have been friends since diapers and her family treated her with the same determination of fetching a high price as Rosalie's did. Sadly, they shared the same fate. They were promised paychecks and their parents hoped for reimbursement for the years of pampering. They were both fated for the Auctions, where wealthy vampires came to find brides or to find a play toy.

He had plenty of friends but only one was who he considered to be of any importance, Cameron Alcott was the man whom Colter who take the stake for, they were both turned around the same time from the same women 2,000 years ago when they were at the soft age of 24, both being born in 1025 AC only a few months apart made them close, but them being turned so close together gave them the unbreakable bond, the kind of bond other vampires could only dream of having.
