Lucia POV When I woke Bane was gone, my heart spike. "Bane?!" "I'm here. Don't worry I'm fine." "Yeah, Fine my Ass, Where are you?" "I went out with Cain, I still need to show I can move." He joked. I sighed, I guess he was right. The others would notice if he stayed away. I slipped out of bed and into one of my dresses. As I slipped the strap up my shoulder I felt a brush of wind against my neck. "My love..." I jumped at hearing the disembodied voice. I looked around the room but no one was there. My heart quickened, as I saw my own breath. The room grew cold. I could feel the goosebumps snaking up my skin. "Come to me..." Air blew my hair away from my neck. I froze feeling a presence in the room. I swallowed hard looking into the darkest part of the room. I swear it was growing... A form of a man with bat-like wings came out of it. I backed away and tripped falling backwards. As he came closer to me. His skin was pale compared to his jet black wings. His eyes felt like exposed me. "W-Who are you?" My voice was shaky. He came so close to me I could feel the heat of his breath, telling me this was real...I wasn't dreaming. He caressed my cheek without saying a word. My body seemed to respond to his touch, something about him was familiar to my soul...but how? A knock came to the door. The man pressed his finger to his lips then vanished. As if I had been holding my breath, I gasped.  "Lucia? Have you seen my pup?!" Ferrah's panicked voice brought me back to the real world. I quickly got up and opened the door. Ferrah's eyes were wide with fear. She was biting her nail. "Don't worry Ferrah I left Quinn with Cain's mate." Ferrah sighed with relief. "Okay, okay I'm going to go get Quinn. Hey why is it so cold in here?" I turned around, what just happened felt like it didn't even happened at all but...It did happen. He touched me, I felt his cold hands against my skin. Was I losing my mind? "Uh-I actually don't know, I actually need to get going. I have herbs to get today." I had found a couple herbs that reversed the affects of Wolfs Bane. Hopefully it would help with Bane's condition. Ferrah went to find Quinn and I got my basket to gather herbs in. It was a far walk beyond the castle walls but it was worth it. I found what I was looking for, Blue Wolfs Bane. Oddly Regular Wolf's Bane was a poison, but this one had healing properties and I was hoping it would work on Bane. I picked more than I needed, just in case I needed a few more doses. I headed back to the castle and started to kettle. I grounded up the leaves, then placed then in the kettle to seep. The door opened and Bane was leaning against the door panting. I quickly pull him in and shut the door. "What in the world did you guys do?!" "We...Ran..." "You-Bane you can't run like that, not like this." I helped him sit on the bed. "I have something for you to try." "Lucia..." "Please, just try this one it might work." I pleaded. He sighed heavily. "Alright." I poured the tea into a cup and gave it to Bane. He smelled it and scrunched up his face. "Ugh." "Yeah I know. Your just going to have to hold your nose." He gave me an uncertain glance then gulped the tea.  "Oh god that's foul." He said making a funny face I could help but laugh. "What are you laughing at?"  "You! Your such a child!" I chuckled, he grabbed my wrist, pulling me on top of him. I placed my hands on his chest. "Do you feel anything?" "I don't know."  "Do you want to try?" I asked as my hands side lower on his torso. A sneaky smile snaked across my face. I linked with my wolf first, hoping it would help him link with his. He closed his eyes, when he opened his eyes they were glowing. It was the same feeling though...barely there. A whimper escaped my lips, I wanted to feel him again so bad.  "Lucia I'm-" I put my hand over his mouth. "No, don't you dare say your sorry. This wasn't your fault." My voice cracked, I didn't know how much this could hurt until now. I felt a lump in my throat. Bane caressed my cheek I tried so hard to stay strong about this but it was killing me. Feeling him slip away everyday was torture. I thought it would work, It should of worked. As I slide my hands down Bane's abdomen I saw the Raven mark. I placed my hand on it on instinct then flashes of images came to me, specifically the moment I marked Burnard as my Familiar... I gasped, as the images reseeded.  "Lucia, What's wrong? You dazed out for a second." I smiled, Burnard was still trying to help even from the other side...my sweet boy. A lone tear slide down my cheek. "I know how fix you...but you have to become my familiar." "Like Burnard? How would that help." "I'm not affected by Wolf's Bane. Familiars are linked to their owners power, so you wouldn't be affected by it anymore." Bane looked unsettled as his brows pulled together. "So what your saying, is I'd be your mate and also your familiar?" "Yes. If your okay with it." Bane grab my hand and kissed the top of it. "Do it." I placed my palm out on Burnards Mark. Then chanted the words under my breath, the light that came out of my palm burned Bane's skin. He gritted his teeth, then the light faded as I removed my palm. Under neath Burnard's Mark was a mark of my own, claiming Bane as my familiar and soon Burnard's mark faded. As soon as it did I was instantly connected with Bane's soul.  Bane's eyes started to blaze and I could feel his wolf again. "Oh my god, it worked..." Bane crushed my lips with a passionate kiss. I feel his wolf again, mine happy came out to link to him. Heat shivered throughout my body as he kissed me. As Bane's lips parted mine, he smiled. "You know, I've come to realize that Burnard has actually saved our asses more than once or twice." I chuckled. "Yeah, looks like you have quite a role to fill." I teased. Bane's eyes turned heavy with lust.  "Oh I won't have problem filling it..."
