Surya's pov        Evening came slowly and we headed to the hall for reception. I searched for my mom as soon as I entered, she called me in the noon and said she have a good news to share with me once she sees me. I found her talking to an unknown women of her age. At the same time she also noticed me and gestured me to come near her. She gave me one of her warm smile as I reached her. I looked the other person as I went there. Her face looked somewhat familiar to me mainly her eyes.        "Vasunthara this is my son Surya" I came out of my thoughts as my mom said this to her "And Surya this is Vasunthara, Riya's aunt" my mom introduced her. I nodded my head at her as she gave me a smile. Now I know why she looked familiar, I should have seen her at engagement or in the temple. "He is looking exactly like what you said anni, I wish they would like each other" with that Vasunthara aunty moved.        Whattt? I was so confused. I wanted to ask my mom. "mom wha.." "Have you informed him" my father asked as he reached us. "No, you came at the right time, say it to him by yourself"  my mom said looking at him with her pleading eyes. "Say it yourself, Your son will listen to you than me" my father said immediately. "He is your son too, and its you who is gonna inform him" my mom said.      By the way they talked and with those look they exchanged  I am sure that whatever they are going to say is not going to please me. My father took a deep breath, turned to me and said calmly       "You are our only son na?" "yes"           "Soon you are gonna turn 28 na?"  " yessss"         "Son, We are also getting old" I know where it is coming. "So what dad? Stop beating the bush and come to the point"       "We have seen a girl for you and you are gonna meet her now" he said in a single breath.     What? How could they? I can feel the rage burning inside me  "But dad I have said you already my decision. I am not going to get married" I said him with my last bit of patience.        "How long you are planning to stay single? We are getting old and like other parents we too wish to see you getting married, having children and living happily with your family" It was my mother.     "But mom I am already living my life to the fullest. I have you and dad, I have my friends and I have my farm and business. What more can make me happy than these?" I said. Seriously? I have everything that makes me happy. I am already living happily then why should I marry and let some girl spoil my happiness?      "See your friends will get busy once they get their own family. As for me and your father, we are getting old and we cannot stay with you forever. And your farm...for how many days you think you can spend your life by looking at those trees? If it is not for you then atleast for the sake of our happiness meet that girl If you don't like her we can stop this for now" my mom pleaded with tears in her eyes.      "Ok, I will meet her, but if I not like her then you should not persuade me about this matter" I accepted to her request as I can't watch hear being sad. My mom's face beamed with happiness as I said these words. "I am sure you will like the girl we selected" My father said as he patted my shoulders. "Yes, she is very beautiful like a goddess, You can't move your eyes from her face once you see her. Now come I will show her to you" my mom said as she started walking towards another corner.      I don't know why, but, my mind drifted to that riverside angel once mom mentioned the word beautiful. Lets see whether my mom's goddess be able to beat my angel. With this thought I followed my mom.     "There she is."  my mom said. When I looked at the direction I saw two girls sitting there with their back facing us."It is the one wearing that red saree" my mom said.  "Ok mom, I will take it from here" I said as I moved towards them.
