Chapter 2

Nodding my head to the beat I write on my notepad as my producer did more stuff to the beat.

"You trying to get this part to hit harder or wait for the next part". He asked and I shook my head.

"Nah I want it to start off with the beat smooth then I want that s**t to drop". I said and he nodded doing something on the board.

"I think I got something run that back". I say blowing smoke out through my nose and placing my blunt in the ashtray.

Standing up I walk into the booth and pick up the headphones putting one on my ear and leaving the other one off.

The beat started and I bobbed my head.

"Heard you niggas mad wish I'm doing bad I just bought a Benz talking paper tags leave your girl around I bet I'm f*****g that she coming with me". I rapped before taking a breath.

"That's why you really mad get that ass into that Jeep bet all that she freaky you must be crazy ho

no money out of me she give me p***y free proud to be f*****g me I slide that rubber on just know it's going deep beat that p***y down". I rapped dancing a little bit before taking the headphones off.

Stepping out of the booth I take my previous seat.

"Aye your phone was ringing". My producer said and I nod picking it up from the table.

Unlocking it I see that Addilynn was calling me. Pressing her number it begin to ring.

"Hello". She said as soon as the call connected.

"What's up you called me". I said standing up stepping out of the studio.

"Are you busy". She asked and I looked back at the studio door.

"Uh Nah you need something". I ask leaning against the wall.

"Is that offer still available". She asked causing me to smile.

"Even though I asked you a few days ago yeah it's still available are you dressed". I ask pushing up from off of the wall.

"Yes I'm ready". She said and I could hear a bit of nervousness.

"Alright I'm about to pull up to your house in 20". I said going into the studio.

"NO, no um I'm at Clayton's park". She said causing me to frown.

"Cool that's close by where I am I'll be there". I said and we said our goodbyes.

"Aye I got to dip but email me what we already did said I can finish the first verse and start the second". I said and he nodded.

Grabbing my keys I dap him up before walking out. Getting in the car I pull off towards the park.

|15 minutes later|

Pulling into the parking lot I get out of the car and look around the park to see if I see her.

Once I spot her on the swings I make my way over to her taking a seat in the swing beside her. Since she had earphones in I tapped her shoulder and she jumped looking over at me with these big ass shades on.

"Oh hey you scared me". She said pushing her hair out of her face.

"My bad but why you got them big ass shades on". I ask reaching over to take them off and she slaps my hand away.

"Ouch what the f**k bruh". I say looking upside her head.

"I'm sorry just don't". She said and I nodded my head.

"You trying to go to the movies". I ask and she looks over smiling at me.

"Really I've never been". She said and I was shocked.

"Then today is your lucky day let's go". I said standing up and grabbing her hand making her stand up.

Walking to the car I open her door letting her get in before going around and getting in myself.

"They got this new movie out called Brahms: The Boy 2 you trying to watch it". I ask looking over at her.

"Yeah". She said smiling at me.

|2 hours later|

Pulling up outside her house she just sits there.

"You want to crash at my crib". I ask and she looks over shaking her head.

"No, I really appreciate you taking me to the movies today though". She said leaning over hugging me and she smelt good as hell.

"No problem". I said as she pulled away she started to get out but stopped halfway turning around.

"Text me when you make it home". She asked and I nodded.

"I got you". I said and she smiled before getting out.

I waited until she got inside before pulling off.

|25 minutes later|

Getting out of the car I unlock the door and walk inside making my way to my room.

Falling back into I close my eyes before I remembered that Addilynn told me to text her when I got home.

Pulling my phone out of my pocket I text her and let her know I made it.

I couldn't go to sleep anyway cause I had to finish up this song in order to get it out on time. Grabbing my laptop I go to my emails and see my producer sent over the beat and half of the first verse I did today.

Grabbing my notepad I play the beat and start writing.

Music is my escape and that's why I'm so dedicated to it...
