BOOK 6 OF THE APPRENTICES SERIES The whole supernatural world is preparing for a war unlike any other. Now that everything's at stake, no one is gambling with their luck anymore. Some try to hide, blindly guessing where they'll be safe. Evelyn is trying to prepare herself for the upcoming battle, but little does she know that it’s going to shake up her whole world. Will she be able to face the truth? Or will she get caught up in regret? Will she be ready to move on? Or will she risk everything she knows for a future that might not even come? STORY PREVIEW I stand on the edge of the rooftop, staring into the distance. The sun is already setting, and I have a feeling like my life is leaving right with it. I’m so hurt and powerless. I’ve never felt this desperate before. But I don’t know how to move forward. I’m stuck. Closing my eyes, I get ready to walk into my death. There’s nothing left for me here. What I could have, is gone. It’s best if I just end this. I know that the other world is waiting for me. And lots of familiar faces will be there, too. I take the first step, really carefully and with a hint of hesitation. Then, I take a second one, and a third one, until I realize that my feet have nowhere left to stand on. I brush against the edge of the rooftop, then let myself dive in. However, before I feel myself fall, someone grabs me and pulls me right back onto the firm ground. I open my eyes, feeling cheated. I can’t even die in peace! Who pulled me back this time? As I gaze upon my father’s face, I freeze. He’s trembling with rage, fear and disbelief all at once. He shakes his head at my actions, pulling me even farther away from the edge, in case I got tempted again. “You don’t have to do this, Evelyn! I know a way to help you,” he tells me, making me blink in surprise. No. He can’t really mean this. He’s only trying to find a way to talk me out of this. He’s only trying to keep me alive. But I can’t live anymore. Not like this. Not after my world just got torn apart. I shake my head in response, not believing a single word. “You’re lying. You’re trying to trick me!” I burst out, sobbing in panic. The pain inside my chest returns, flaming up so intensely, that I can barely breathe. My dad stares at me with watery eyes, almost like he can feel the pain I’m in. Finally, he puts a mask of determination on his face. “I’m not. I promise. I know the solution, but it’s going to be extremely difficult … And dangerous.”

BOOK 5 OF THE APPRENTICES SERIES The events in Portsmouth have shaken up the warrior witches. They're afraid to continue the hunt on Evelyn's mother, while Evelyn has to deal with the fear of being her target. But after complicating things with her mentor, she finds herself torn between what's right and what she wants. Will they be able to forget what happened? Or will it stand in their way? Will her mother finally be defeated? Or will she doom the entire supernatural world? STORY PREVIEW My head feels like it's about to explode. It's taking a toll on me. The spells I've been learning. They're unnatural and they're ... They're evil. I squeeze my trembling hand into a fist, knowing that I can't give in. I have to focus now, or else he'll know. I know what's going to happen to me if I fail. And I can't die without making things right with him. Cyrus. I haven't seen him since he stormed away from my room that evening. Even if he'll tell me to leave ... Seeing his face one last time will make me feel better about heading into my death. I let out a long breath before lifting my still shaking hand to knock on his door. There's silence on the other end for a few long moments. But then finally, he shouts out for me to let myself in. I'm sure he wouldn't do that, if he knew who was standing in front of his office. As I step in, I realize he's busy with something. He's scribbling something on a piece of paper, already having a whole stack of them beside his left hand. I wonder what that's all about. "Hey," I greet him before closing the door behind me. He freezes, but he keeps his eyes directed to that piece of paper. "Hey," he finally murmurs in response without lifting his gaze to meet me. Right. I don't know why I was expecting a different reaction after the way we left things. "I came to apologize," I speak up, watching the way his jaw moves as he probably tries to keep himself from bursting out at me. As he doesn't say anything, I continue. "It was wrong and selfish. I didn't have the right to do that to you and-" He suddenly stands up so abruptly, that it makes me stop talking mid-sentence. He stares at me with a furious gaze, his black eyes glistening angrily. "Where have you been, Eva? And why do I sense dark magic on you?" he wants to know, making me stiffen in surprise. How the hell was he able to sense it?

BOOK 4 OF THE APPRENTICES SERIES After Evelyn's mother escaped, the whole Seminary is left trapped behind the wards. With the exam week behind the corner she has to decide what's more important. But when she discovers a terrifying truth, her whole world gets shaken up. Will she be able to forgive? Or will she let anger lead the way? Will she be able to trust again? Or will she threaten to expose the secret that's making her lose sleep at night? STORY PREVIEW I feel myself slipping back into my body. Slowly, I become aware of my limbs, my chest, my stomach ... And the pain. The excruciating pain, that seems to be rushing at me in waves. As it overtakes me, it's so bad, that I stay numb, unable to crawl up to make myself feel a little better. Unable to release the agony. I let out a tortured breath, making a little sound along with it. I try to make my eyes flutter open, but I don't get to succeed on the first try. "Evelyn?" I hear a voice call me. A familiar voice that cuts through my bones and only adds to the pain that's already holding power over my body. Trying again, I manage to keep my eyes open this time. As my foggy vision clears up, I finally manage to focus my gaze on his face. The mask of worry that's covering it. I clench my jaw, then wince in a failed attempt to lift myself into a sitting position. "No, don't overstrain yourself. You were ... We almost lost you," he tries to hold me back, his voice cracking. I glare at him angrily, unable to forget who he truly is. "You lied to me," I finally speak up, my voice sounding hoarse. I swear I can still taste the blood in my mouth, the metallic taste making me sick. But I forget about all of that as another wave of pain shoots through me, this time even more intense. I try to breathe in, but I can't. It knocks all the air out of my lungs and in that moment, I feel like I'm going to die. Suddenly, there's a hand on my forehead and I want to push it away so badly, but I can't move. No matter how hard I try, I can't move a single muscle, because my whole body is in an excruciating spasm from the pain. "I'll make it go away," Cyrus whispers, before another sharp pain cuts through me.

BOOK 3 OF THE APPRENTICES SERIES Evelyn feels more confused than ever. She found out the terrible truth about her magic and she just can’t make peace with it. With her father pressuring her into taking his offer and her mother on the run, she feels more and more like a failure. But with Jake’s upcoming birthday, life has a big surprise for her in store. Will she make the choice she might regret forever? Or will she risk her life for love? Will she find herself along the way? Or will she let darkness overtake her? STORY PREVIEW “Good evening,” I hear myself having the nerve to say. He steps aside with his jaw clenched, his black eyes glued on my face. Well, it’s safe to say that this doesn’t look good at all. As I stride inside, the door slams close, making me stiffen in surprise. It seems to me, that I’m fucked. In the next moment, angry footsteps brush past me, stopping in front of the desk. “Sit,” he orders, and for change, I don’t dare say a word. I sit down like a good girl, making me want to barf. But I know I’m in big trouble, so I try to forget the fact that I never obey anyone. The silence that follows is maddening. I don’t even dare to look at his face. I can feel the daggers shooting out of his eyes without even doing so. I wait for him to sit down, like he usually does, but he doesn’t. Instead, he speaks up again, this time even more sharply. “Look at me,” he demands. I grit my teeth together. Is this humiliation truly necessary? “Look at me!” he raises his voice, making my gaze shoot up with my eyes narrowed. “Yes?” I hiss at him, not even bothering to hide the frustration in my voice. But his eyes clash with mine with such intensity, that I can barely stand my ground. “Why would you do that to yourself?” he wants to know, his tone a bit calmer. He still sounds pissed off as hell, though. I already mean to play dumb, but I know it won’t get me anywhere. I don’t know this guy for a long time.

BOOK 2 OF THE APPRENTICES SERIES Join Evelyn as she tries to pick herself up from the events in Cincinnati and figure out a way to control her dangerous magic. She's ready to take the next step in her relationship with Jake, throwing herself all in. But when things take a dramatic turn and leave her in doubt of everything she ever knew, she runs away. And in the human world, things aren't as easy as she thought they would be. Will she let herself love unconditionally? Or will differences be too great to overcome? Will she surrender to her powers? Or will she fight them until her last breath? STORY PREVIEW “Stand back, apprentice!” a wizard yells at me from beside my mother, holding her in a tight grip, while trying to stop me with a bombard of spells. But they all bounce right off my shield, until I suddenly realize there’s no protection around me. The magic they send at me, bounces right off my skin. Pushing the distracting thoughts away, I run towards my still smirking mother with a murderous expression on my face, my hands reached out towards her. I think of the image of her, an image that she burned the moment she stepped foot into that restaurant. I think of how she tried to trick me into becoming her minion and I think of the brutal massacre she caused with her powers. The den of bodies. I let it all bottle up inside me to the point of madness, before giving out an enraged roar and letting all the anger burst out of me, just the way it did the first time. I scream as the magic burns out of me, rushing straight towards her, to avenge all the victims of her crimes. But before the magic reaches her, the warrior wizard who told me to stand back, jumps in front of her. In that moment, it feels like time stops. I watch in horror, trying to stop the spell, but it’s already too late. All it takes is that small second and the magic hits him right in the chest, making him collapse to the ground. His eyes widen as his body starts twitching, wrapped in a seizure he can’t seem to control. I try to help, I rush to his side, but my powers are still burning inside me, threatening to spill over the edge the moment I touch him. “What have you done?!” a witch screams at me, as I watch blood starting to pour out of the poor man’s nose, then mouth and eyes. Oh, no. Not again. Not this again, he wasn’t the target! My hands start trembling and I let out a panicked yelp as I realize it’s trying to come out again. In that moment, I feel familiar hands grab mine, and I look up to meet Kir’s panicked gaze. “Evelyn, pour the magic into me. Quickly. We have no time to spare,” he instructs me as calmly as he can, but his voice is shaking. I breathe heavily, trying to focus, but all I do is make a wave of magic burst out of me again, making the man yell out in pain. Oh, no, what am I doing?! I can’t keep my hands steady as I look at the wizard, trembling violently because I don’t know how to take control back. I’m losing it. I’m truly losing it.

BOOK 1 OF THE APPRENTICES SERIES Evelyn is a young witch, attending a secret school for supernaturals. At the Elite, Lycans and Strigons Joined Seminary, she finds herself navigating between mantaining her popularity and learning to fight the lurking danger that awaits outside the wards. Will she develop unwanted feelings for her werewolf boyfriend? Or will she protect herself from heartbreak? Will she solve the mystery of the mass murder of warrior witches? Or will she become the next victim? STORY PREVIEW I take the dagger in my hand, taking deep breaths as I prepare myself for the journey ahead. Kir watches me curiously, probably thinking that I’ll chicken out in the last minute. I try to remember all the instructions that he gave me, knowing that I’ll only have myself to rely on in the other world.   Drawing in another shaky breath, I pull my sleeve up, drawing a long line down my forearm. I barely feel the sharp tip cut through my skin, realizing that it doesn’t hurt as much as I thought it would. I put the dagger back on the desk, watching as my blood travels down the vertical crevice on the blade.   Once it reaches the handle, it seems to run into it, making me furrow my eyebrows in confusion. Why am I not there yet? What is going on? Suddenly, the symbol of the drop lights up, and I feel my head being thrown back as my soul shoots out of my body.   I can see myself right on that armchair before I get pulled somewhere outside. Out of the Seminary, out of Ohio. I’m flying across the sky, until I reach the darkness. Then, a tiny light appears somewhere in the distance. A light that makes me realize that there are thousands of lights all around me. They look like stars, but not exactly like them.   Before I’m able to concentrate on trying to figure out where they’re coming from, one of them already starts flying towards me. I try to dodge it, but it travels towards me with the speed of the light. As I instinctively try to cover my face to protect myself, it already engulfs me, soaking me in a strange cold feeling.   In the next moment, I find myself in a place unlike any other. I seem to be watching the strange stars from the bottom of a canyon, but the rocks aren’t the right color. They’re something between blue, grey and violet. The area closer to the ground is covered in moss. There are strange trees and flowers growing out of the stone.   The weirdest thing I find about those plants is that they’re not reaching towards the light, like I’m used to see. They’re growing downwards, towards the moss. So, this must be it. The other world.   I draw my gaze in front of me, realizing that it all feels surreal. Like I’m in a dream. Suddenly, floating images appear in front of my eyes. They are like people, but too transparent to be real. Ghosts. Are these … Souls of deceased people?

FREE UNTIL JUNE 1ST 2022! "I am not ... I am not who you think I am. So, please, do yourself a favour and stay away from me," he retorts, his voice shaking with rage. I flinch in hurt, unable to understand his hostility towards me. My lips want to tremble, but I do not let them. There is no way I will shed a tear in front of him. I was raised better than that. I press my lips into a thin line, narrowing my eyes as I stare at him. "Perhaps you are right. Perhaps I should finally listen to you and save myself all this pain. Because nothing hurts worse, than living through your rejection, over and over again!" I don't realize that I am shouting at him, until I am already out of words. He watches me as if I just opened a whole new world to him. But I finally have enough. I turn around and walk away from his shaken stature. My body is aching, it feels as if I am being torn apart from the inside. It hurts. More than anything I have ever experienced. All I wish is for him to come running after me and lift me into his embrace. But no matter how badly I want that, I don't look back. He already took my heart and crushed it into pieces. I am not letting him do the same with my pride.

Book 4 It's there. His touch on my shoulder. Never failing me. Standing by my side even when death seems to be inevitable. "Until my last breath," he whispers into my ear, and I close my eyes for a moment, refusing to watch the sea of people in front of us. People, who are willing to die to destroy the evil forces that are threatening us. I place my hand on his, focusing only on his skin below mine. I can feel his hot breath on the back of my neck, trying to enjoy our last moment of peace before the world crumbles. I open my eyes, taking a deep breath as I try my best to be brave. The rising sun is just drawing a red line onto the sky. They're coming.

Betrayed (The Secret World Of Atlantis 3)
Updated at Sep 10, 2021, 11:42
Book 3 No matter how hard I try to stay awake, I keep falling in and out of consciousness. My head feels heavy every time I'm back, so I can't even try to look up. However, I can feel that I'm being dragged across the floor, my feet hitting against the cracks of the paved sidewalks. I have no idea, where I'm being taken. And I'm not sure I want to find out. I can tell that we're right in the middle of the city, because I can hear the crowd of people walking and talking all around us. Why isn't anybody finding it suspicious, that a young girl is being dragged around the streets by multiple men? Before I'm able to answer that question for myself, I black out again. As I finally begin coming back to my senses, I realize I have a sour feeling in my mouth. And there's this unusual smell in the air, like the one you can usually sense inside old cellars. In that moment, I figure out, that my arms are chained. I struggle to open my eyes, my heavy eyelids making the task much more difficult, than it should have been. But as I finally manage, I have to blink a few times, to clear up my vision. When the image in front of me gets clear, I find myself gasping for air. I stare at the person in front of me in awe. He's here. He's truly here. I open my mouth, to let out a longing whisper. "Eros."

Lost (The Secret World Of Atlantis)
Updated at Aug 2, 2021, 12:24
Book 1 The sky suddenly darkens. I shudder as a cold wind blows through the village. This is the first time, that the weather is so chilly in Atlantis. I quicken my step, trying to get to my house as soon as possible. There is only so much warmth, that the thin fabric of the school uniform can provide. It seems odd, that I'm almost all alone outside. Other students are usually very active on a Thursday afternoon. The ones, that I meet are either running towards the school or to their houses. But I don't think too much about it, my main goal is to get inside. Before I even get to my street, it starts to rain. It's just a sprinkle at first, but soon it is downright pouring at me, forcing me to make a run for it. My clothes start sticking to my body soon after, my hair probably looking like a wet sheep. I am more than relieved when I finally reach my house, cursing as I accidentally drop my key to the floor. As I bend down to pick it up, I see movement from the side of my eye, but when I turn around, no one's there. It's been a long day, my mind must be playing tricks on me. I finally put the key into my door, but before I can unlock it, a familiar voice stops me. "Well, well. If it isn't the Princess herself," I hear Eros say coldly. I freeze instantly, shuddering because of the damp clothes, sticking to my body. This doesn't sound like him. I slowly turn my head to see him lurking in the shadows of the nearby house. He takes a step towards me and I drop the bag in horror. It can't be.

Book 2 In that moment it feels like everything is happening in slow motion. My vision jumps from blurry to almost too sharp, but one thing is always the same. The horrified expression on Eros's face. His hands are pressuring on the wound on my stomach, but I don't feel any pain. Not really. It's like my body isn't connected to my mind. "Talk to me. Don't close your eyes," he panics, almost making me cr*ck a smile. But I'm too weak to move any muscle. I'm only able to let out a silent grunt. His eyes dart to my stomach. I can feel the warm liquid gushing out between his fingers, the pressure not really helping to stop the bleeding. Then his tongue slowly slips over his lower lip. Is he going to drink my blood? He jumps back suddenly, letting out a desperate cry, his voice full of hurt. My eyes begin closing down. I don't think I'll be able to hold myself awake for much longer. It's so hard to focus. "No!" I can hear Eros yelling out suddenly. I can barely see anything, but I can feel him by my side once again. He takes in a shaky breath, before pressing his hands onto my stomach once again. "I won't let you die," he whispers in a broken voice.
