Chapter One

Isaac's POV "I HAD to send her away." He yells. "She is our daughter. You just snuck out with her. We were supposed to talk about this more. Where is she? I'm going to get her." He sighs. "Isobel you can't. You won't find her. Besides I don't know where she was taken." Isobel has a confused look on her face. " Wh...what do you mean you don't know? HOW do you not know?" She yelled at her mate. Her husband. The Alpha. "I did leave with her, but I gave her to someone so they could find a safe place for her. We cannot keep her safe. I can barely keep you and this pack safe anymore. Angel please we have talked about this." He sighed defeated having to admit he can no longer keep his pack safe and family safe. "Get them to bring her back NOW." Isobel has tears streaming down her face. Her baby girl is gone. She knows her mate is right. It was the safest thing for her. It still hurts. "Angel." The Alpha goes to his mate and hugs her. "Isobel I'm so sorry. I did what is best for her and this pack. If she isn't here there will be no reason for me to be challenged and the pack attacked." He pinched the bridge of his nose. "As far as anyone will know she's dead. We cannot have contact, but she will be watched and guarded her entire life until she feels the need to search." "It won't be hard, because we have lost her. How will you know how she's doing?" The heartbreak evident in my Luna's voice. "I won't be notified of anything unless something has happened where I need to intervene." "I miss her already. Our special girl. Our future Alpha female. She deserves the best life and we cannot do that for her." Isobel sobs. "It's late we should go to our room and mourn the loss of our Celeste." This was the conversation I heard. I was shoved into the closet when Luna Isobel knocked and entered the Alphas office. He made it seem like he was pacing the room. My name is Isaac Brown and I am 17. I am the one the Alpha trusted to find a safe place to hide the future Alpha female. The Luna was busy and had left her baby with the nanny. The Alpha mind-linked me and told me now was the time. We have had many mind-linked discussions about this plan. It was now or never. The Alpha brought his baby girl to me and I left. The safest place is in the human world. They won't know she has a scent. I have brought her to a city that amazingly has no werewolves. I am always around the area so I know. It is also the same city where the Alpha and Luna met. I have a few choices that I had to consider. I could have dropped her at the hospital, she wasn't born there so there wouldn't be any records of her. But I would have to have brought her in and then questions would be asked. The police station, they have cameras. The fire station. I checked it out before my mission. It is the safest. There are no cameras and the firefighters usually sleep at night unless they get a call. Which they will for right outside their door. I drive around until it gets dark enough and late enough to drop her off. I have made sure she has been changed and fed before I placed her at the doorstep. I was talking to her, telling her I will be watching over her. She will always have anything she needs. I will be there when she has her first shift at sixteen. When she is old enough I will be strategically placed in her life so she will already know me. As I leave her all she has is her date of birth December 25, 2003 with supplies in her diaper bag and a teddy bear that I bought for her when she was born. On the tag I wrote her name Celeste Heaven. The prophecy baby of Alpha Clark and Luna Isobel. I know they wouldn't approve, but she should have something from her family. I belong to the pack, but I once was a rogue. I just happened to see an unfair fight against the Alpha. He and his men were ambushed. The Alpha's men seriously wounded no matter how fast they could heal. The Alpha was next. There were ten that I counted. Being a rogue didn't stop me from doing what was right. Just because I was born one didn't mean I had to act like one. Which is why my parents even threw me away. I wasn't wanted in a pack (Goddess knows I've tried) and I wasn't wanted as a rogue. I knew I couldn't take them all, but I had been turned away from another pack. All I want is to belong somewhere, possibly find my mate and just be happy and content. "F**k It." I said out loud. I ran and shifted mid-air grabbing the closest rogue by the neck and ripping his throat out. I spun to see everyone startled by this giant black and white wolf. I was pretty big, bigger than my parents considering I came from rogues. "So you think we can take them?" My wolf Bandit asks. "Well, we have one down nine to go. Lets just hope that the Alpha sees us as a friend and not a foe when we are finished." I am not too worried though. I know Bandit isn't ready to die, but me right now I need to let some anger out. "Isaac lets f**k up some faces." Bandit says as he's snarling and showing his teeth. Two rogues come at me while the others are surrounding the Alpha and his men. They both lunge at me and I ducked. Dumbasses. I spun with quickness and grabbed one by his leg. Biting down and tasting his blood and hearing his bones shattering. He howled out in pain. The other comes at me before I let go. He tackles me and we roll a few times. I get up I am pissed now and he runs at me again. I side step and use my claws and rip his side apart. He goes down and is not getting back up. The other is trying to get up, but he can't walk on three legs. So I walk over to him as he tries to get up again. I narrow my eyes at him. I know him, he's pleading with his eyes. But I'm a rogue, so I might as well act like one, right? He does manage to get up, but I show no mercy and rip his throat out with my claws. He's gone. I turn to see the seven that are left. They pay no attention to me. Then a scent hit me that I didn't notice before a she-wolf. None of these werewolves look female. Then I sniff again I think she's with child. While the rogues aren't looking at me I glance around, but keeping my eyes on them too. I spot her behind the tree. The Alpha and his men are trying to protect her. "Bandit you smell that right?" I ask. "Yes. A she-wolf with child. You know that was Brian we just killed. Right?" "Yes. He said he changed, that he no longer did this. He lied and I hate liars. Bandit, I wonder if we have other friends here. Let's introduce ourselves shall we?" I let out an evil laugh to myself. "Yes, lets." Bandit lets out this loud growl to get the attention of everyone. He knows we might die, but we cannot allow a she-wolf to be hurt and a pregnant one at that. Again everyone is caught off guard. I just started running. I was then caught off guard when something slammed into my side. I landed on my paws and look. Well what do you know another liar. I growled again and lunged ripping out another's throat. I didn't stop there I just kept running, lunging, biting, scratching. I looked up and the Alpha is pinned by the last three. "We took out another four?" I said surprised. "Yes. Were you not paying attention?" Bandit says sarcastically. "I don't know. Let's save these wolves and hope we aren't next." I was still pissed. More pissed because these are people I know. Knew? Doesn't matter. They claimed they didn't like being rogues, but they obviously had no problem acting like them. I went for the guy closest to me. I slashed his side. I was trying to keep at least one alive so I could possibly find out what and why. The next guy was sniffing the air. "He's looking for the pregnant she-wolf." I tell Bandit. "He's not going to find her." Before I could say anything Bandit took full control and ripped that wolf apart. I looked and the Alpha was fighting with the last rogue. This rogue was a little bigger and stronger, the Alpha was taking a beating I could tell he was just tired and his men were of no help right now. I didn't think I just reacted. I snapped both his back legs. He shifted back to his human form instantly. Lenny. Son of a b*tch. I notice the Alphas men getting up and snarling at me. Sh*t, they are coming for me now. I just fought all these rogues I do not want to risk it so I chose the sensible option. I shift back and bowed. I do not care about being naked. That can wait. I do take a glance at Lenny though wanting to snap his neck. I hear someone clear their throat, but I do not look up. The Alpha also shifted. "You smell like a rogue. But I don't sense you are one. You helped us. Why? Weren't you part of this?" The Alpha spoke with the authority only a true Alpha can possess. "No Alpha. I am not part of this pack of rogues. Although, I did know a few. Like Lenny there. I didn't killed him thinking you may want to speak with one of them if possible. I was also born a rogue, but because I didn't act like a rogue I was cast out of my pack by my own parents." I tell him still bowing my head. The Alpha speaks again. "Why did you help us?" "I was pissed and just happened to walk upon this scene. After I took out the first two I smelled a she-wolf. A pregnant she-wolf. I figured you were trying to protect her. I do not approve of hurting women or children. Honestly, Alpha I was hoping to die here and now." "If you really wanted to die you would not have shifted and bowed down to me after my men started after you. What is your name son?" Son? No one has called me that not even my own father. "Isaac. Isaac Brown, Alpha." "Look at me please, Isaac Brown." I lifted my head to look at the Alpha. One of his men threw me a pair of shorts and with my reflexes I grabbed them and put them on. He just looks at me trying to figure me out. "Thank you, Isaac. I owe you. You were right we were protecting a pregnant she-wolf. Isobel." He calls out. I looked behind the Alpha and out walks a very pregnant she-wolf. She was pretty with auburn hair, green eyes and stood about 5'7. "This is your Luna I presume?" I questioned and without waiting for an answer I say " Luna. A pleasure to meet you. I only wish it were under better circumstances." Luna Isobel smiles at me and then turns her head to the side. "You are not a rogue." She says. "Yes, Luna I am. I was born a rogue. I was cast out by my own family for not wanting to be a rogue." She smiles at me. "I seen your wolf. He is very beautiful. Although, I have never seen a black and white wolf before. He is also very large. A little bigger than my mates wolf. What is his name?" "His name is Bandit, Luna. He also does not approve of hurting women and children. When we caught your scent we could not stand for anything bad to happen." "I...We." She says as she looks around. "We thank you for risking your life to help us. Although I sense more from you. I can't quite put my nose on it. I will though." Smiling as she says this. I have no clue what she senses but I am a rogue born and raised. Maybe it just her hormones. I just shrug it off. "You're welcome Luna, Alpha and warriors." "Isaac will you come to our pack? My warriors are going to bring this man to the dungeon for questioning. I'm sure you could use some food and a comfortable place to sleep tonight." The Alpha asks. "Please, Isaac." The Luna asks with an excited look on her face. I still don't know what she senses and to be honest she makes me uncomfortable. "Yes, Alpha and Luna. I would love to accompany you to your pack. Uh...Where is your pack?" I really should have asked before I accepted. There are quite a few ruthless packs around here. "We are from the Full Moon Pack." Oh, SH*T! The name may not sound so threatening, but they are ruthless and they are a huge pack. I look over the pack members and they all c****d their heads. Sh*t. They are waiting for me to say something.  As I go to speak the Luna speaks up. "We are a ruthless pack, but we are fair Isaac. We have done things only to protect our pack. Please, come with us." All I can do is smile and say, "Yes, Luna. I will. Forgive my hesitation."
