Prologue

 Kylie Montego grew up In the Luna Moon Pack, She was the daughter of an Alpha, But her mother was the most famous Luna of all, Her mother was the granddaughter of the Moon Goddess herself. Kylie’s parents died not long after Kylie was born, leaving her to be taken care of by her Grandmother and the Beta of the pack. The beta of the pack took over as Alpha. Beta Benjamin Williams. He also brought Kylie up as his own. Benjamin and his wife Aurora had Two boys destined to be Alphas. Kane and Asher. Benjamin and Aurora were best friends with Kylie’s parents and loved her just as much as they would love their own. Growing up Kylie and Asher were inseparable. Kane on the other hand was a playboy but was a strong warrior, He was as ruthless as they could come. He paid no attention to Kylie and Disliked her a lot. At the age of 15 though, Kane disappeared one day, leaving a note stating that He wouldn’t be in competition with his brother for the title of Alpha, That he was leaving to start his own pack. He had taken followers with him, and he had surrendered the title to Asher because he would never feel right killing his brother for it. When the time came there would be a standoff to see who was the strongest for the pack, and because Kane had power and strength, it was a sure thing that he would kill his brother for the title. Years later, Kylie and Asher came of age but found that they were not mates. As disappointing as it was for them, they still stayed in a relationship. Loved each other as if they were mates, and Asher was Alpha. Life seemed perfect. That’s exactly what Kylie felt, She was content with the fact that they loved each other, although she could never be Luna, everyone treated her as one. She was their rightful Luna. It was just fate that Her Great grandmother did not pick Asher as her mate. When she turned 18, she fell pregnant with Asher’s Son, Kai. It was not common for a wolf to fall pregnant with a wolf that is not their mate's baby but She had a grandmother that was the moon goddess and she possessed the power to do so. After all, the moon goddess was the mother of all the wolves. Her perfect life with her perfect family was put to a stop once Asher found his true and rightful mate. Kylie acts as a Luna. She has an Aura to her that gives her that authority. She has Power, She commands Like an Alpha, and can act as an Alpha (Like her father), But she is as powerful as a Luna, and is respected by everyone she meets (Like her mother).  Even though Kylie was the Moon Goddess’s Great-granddaughter, She kept herself away from understanding what a mate bond truly was. She understood what a mate was, but she had no idea the effect a mate bond could have on a person until she finally felt it herself. Some people say you fear most what you do not know.
