My Big City Love

Chapter One

Let me interduce myself I am Ashlee Janes I just finished my business administration degree at Johnson College. I am 24 years old. I am from a small town in the south and I currently on my way to New York I landed a job as the Personal assistant to Eric Lowe. I am so excited and nervous to start my new life and new job.

I have never been to a big city before, my I did manage to get a nice apartment 5 blocks away for my job. Which is good since I don’t know the city that well, so I am on my way now to my new apartment with my best friend who is moving in with me, Lily got a job at magazine there. So at least I will be not moving to the big city all by myself. Lily and I have been best friend since 5th grade when her family move to the area. We have had our up and downs but with are stick to each other though thick and thin. We are currently getting our bags and waiting for taxi to pick us up to take us to our apartment the landlord mail me the key to the apartment last week and lucking for Lily and I the apartment came full furnished. Lily pinched my side bring me back to present.

“What are you thinking about Ash?”

“Nothing really, just nervous I start my new job in 2 days and I know nothing of my boss. I really hope I can make it here and not fall on my face.”

“Ash you are a smart talented girl you are going to do amazing and you are going to rock this job. Who is your boss going to be again?”

“Mr Lowe I can’t remember his first name hold on let me check my email.”

I had my interview video chart with the HR and I got a call two days later saying I got the job which I was happy about since lily and I already got the apartment cause she got her job quick. Lily is from New York and she has always wanted to work for Gossip the magazine company as a writer. So even if I didn’t get this job Lily told me that I was moving with her regardless. Her parents are the one that gave of the money to get the apartment the paid it in full for 5 years. So even if I didn’t get this job at lease, I had a place to stay. I just not the type of person to live off someone even if that is Lily. I know that she won’t mind I just couldn’t do that to her.

“His name is Eric Lowe Lily just found the email”

“HOLY s**t Are being serious right now?”

“Yes Why?”

She pulls out a magazine out of her bag opens it open and shows me the sexiest man I have ever since. He has blonde hair deep blue eyes and wow those muscles damn he has a six pack, so the picture of him is shirt less at the beach coming out of the water.  Title reads New York’s Most Eligible Bachelor Day at the beach.

“Are you Kidding me that is who I have to work with everyday Lily?”

“Yes and you are so lucky girl, I want to be in your shoes now. How come you get to be so lucky girl?’”

“I don’t think I am lucky Lil, just image the number of women I am going to have to put up with drooling all over him? Drama, do not forget the drama that come with him being hot!”

Lily just rolls her eyes at me as the cab driving lets us know that we have arrived at our building. We pay and think him. We hop out and get our bags from the truck and the door man greets us and ask us for help with our bags to our floor. As we get in the elevator, just as the door is about to close a hand stops it and a Sexy man get on, he is about 6’4 very fit body and short brown hair and bright green eyes. Perfect white teeth. Lilly is squeezing the hell out of my hand as she is trying to get my attention of the man in front of us and I look at her to she is totally having the hots for this man. The doorman name Herb decide to speak up since we’ve entered the elevator and greets the hot stranger 

“Good Afternoon Mr. Lowe”
