Prologue Thomas was talking to a lady named Esther, She was a new member of the Peacemaker club here in school, and we welcomed her with open arms. Esther was new to the school. Her family just moved in to the state and, one of the reasons why she joined us, she was trying to make friends and an impression on everybody. Esther had a long brown hair, with small brown eyes. She was petite, her height must have been 5'0" or 5'1". I wasn't sure. Though her height didn't match her attitude, because as for her size, she always liked to threaten people. That's why she got accepted here on this group because of her attitude. We had a group called 'Peacemakers' and we were the one responsible on keeping peace and safety of the students of the school I was in. We had so many goals, and some of them were achieved already. Others wouldn't be hard to achieve. We just needed time. Right now, the members and I were preparing an event. This event was a dance competition, made my DTTB Club (Dance to the Beat), sponsored by people who liked to dance and as for us, we were assigned to keep peace and implement rules and of course, we wouldn't just be a lame group, we also participated on making the event interesting. We had asked them to make it more like a bar or something, with free drinks. Light drinks. So people wouldn't do shits. It's better to have light drinks than no alcohol at all. Students would be just an asshole and at least try to carry a beer on their own. DTTB agreed though. I could feel this event would be successful. Cory, who had green eyes and a blond shaggy hair, was drawing something on a piece of paper. He was busy drawing that he almost missed out everything we had said. Fortunately, Maggy had told him the summary of the plan. The dance competition would be happening tomorrow and we wanted to make sure that the event would be a blast and unforgetful. "Chad," Bobby greeted me as he passed us. He was one of the basketball players of the school and a total player. He had slept with almost every girl on the 10th Grade. He had told me that they were better and more virgin than the senion sluts. Although he was a good kid, he was still an asshole but I wasn't holding it against him. In fact, he was my friend. In school only. I gave him a nod of acknowledgement and he stopped midway. "Hi, Maggy." Anothing thing, Bobby had a thing for Maggy but Maggy didn't like him. Maggy was lesbian and had a girlfriend already. But still, Bobby kept flirting with her and he had once asked me what would it feel to f**k a lesbian. Maggy rolled her eyes at him and Bobby chuckled only. I shook my head because Bobby looked pathetic and all yet I was convinced that he was a good kid. Bobby walked away with a smile. "He really is an asshole," Maggy muttered as she went back to studying her Math assignments. We all laughed at her and she flipped us off. "Seriously, I don't know why he keeps flirting with me. He annoys me." "Give the boy a chance, Mags." Terry said to Maggy and she gave him a death glare. Terry knew that Maggy was lesbian and we all knew that he was only teasing Maggy. "He has been giving you these looks since what? A month ago? He likes you." "Yeah, Maggy. Give a guy a chance," I joined in, laughing lightly. "Oh, the French guy is joining in," Tesla spoke, grinning. I flipped him off. I had a Parisian accent, and I was born in Paris. My parents were both Parisian. My friends kept teasing me because of my accent, but somehow, I had learned to alter it a bit so they would lessen the teasing about my French accent. "Well, I don't," Maggy said and shrugged. "He can sulk on the corner and die and I wouldn't even care." We gave her a shrug and she went back on studying. Some of the members were planning what rule would be implied to the event. Of course, first thing would be no violence, and we were thinking what would be the consequences when people wouldn't oblige to the rules. Thalia groaned, making everyone look at her. Carlo snickered when he saw what Thalia was playing; Flappy Bird. Apparently, her game was over and she was on her best score, which was 9. Great. Thalia went back on playing the game. The group consisted of 11 members. Terry, Thomas, Maggy, Thalia, Carlo, Esther, George, Cory, Tesla, Kart and the leader, which was me. We all met up in 6th grade except George, because I met him when we were in 3rd grade. And the newest addition to the club was Esther. She was just 17 years old yet she had a matured mind. The founder of the group was Hailey Fastfield, amd she graduated 2 years ago, and before I became a leader, I was just a member that followed her orders. Hailey and I were best of friends and now, she was in Atlanta and in College, taking a arts related course. Must be nice. From what she told me, she hated violence and would like to stop the bullies, that's why she requested to make a club that's related to peace and stuffs. She named the club Peacemakers, which I thought, in the first place, was a lame name for a group. It sounded ridiculous to me before. I still did. "Hey, Carlo," George spoke. George had big blue eyes and a cropped jet black hair and most of the girls admired him since he had this bad boy look but he wasn't reckless. George was, according to Thalia, a definition of a hot nerd. A hot geek. His height was something along like 6'0", and he was a Volleyball player of the school. Carlo looked up at George. All of the guys here were tall except for Carlo. His height was 5'4" and we always teased him about it. He always responded about how his Dad had a short height. "Are you done with the Physics assignment? I haven't done mine yet." "Lazy bastard," Carlo muttered as he fished out his Physics notebook inside his bag and handed it to George, who took it with a grin. +++ I had been hearing his name ever since I stepped a foot inside the school's premises. Obviously, there was a new kid in school and I believed he had been into a Principal's Office on his first day here. I frowned. Why had I just heard it today? His name sounded different to me. I had heard his last name before, but I wasn't sure when. Shrugging, I walked all the way to the hallway until I reached my locker. I put the combination number to unlock my locker and grabbed some textbooks. Grinning, I snatched off the schedules that was listed on the sticky note on the wall of my locker. Looking at the handwriting, I was pretty sure Tesla wrote this. He had a poor handwriting and what a coincidence, he would like to be a Doctor in the future. Today, the dance competition would be happening and we would only have a half day in class. That's the advantage of having an event. Clubs here would always like to set up an event but it didn't get always approved by the Principal since the event they would like to happen was kind of hardcore. I smiled at Tesla's handwriting and memorized my schedules for today. At exactly 2pm, people should be gathering at the Football field, where the competition will be held. And at exactly 2pm, we would be in our positions. Tesla suggested that we should make a list of people who would attend the competition and have them agreed to the rules and if they did register their name, and they did not obey the rules, there would be a punishment. Everyone agreed. This way, there's a high chance that the rule breakers would lessen. So yesterday, started printin out forms so the students could write their name on it, indicating that they agreed on the rules that we implied. I went to my first class, which was Mathematics. I hated Mathematics. I really did. +++ Students were now starting to fall in line so they could have their turn on writing their names, ID number, and s*x. The members of the group started to roam around the place to make sure that everything was fine. I was looking at the students when I heard the name again. "The new student is hot," a girl said, her hair was tied up in a ponytail and she was beaming. I scowled. "Yeah," the other girl agreed. "He has this bad boy look. And he really is a bad boy." "Ohmigod, I cannot wait to see him here. He'll make this competition best." The girl said and I rolled my eyes at them, turning on my heels and I started to walk away since I didn't want to hear the lame conversation anymore. Now, the students were on their respective seats and at exactly 3:30pm, the music was now blasting, playing a remix version of Dessert by Dawin and the students were ready to party. The free light drinks would be given at exactly 5pm and so they settled with water instead. That's good. My eyes scanned the whole area and thought everything was fine. And it was. Until the time hit 5pm and the group started to give a free light drinks and the music kept playing, then the hosts of the program came on stage with a microphone in their hands. I recognized them. They were Perky and Tommy. They were part of the News club. Soon, they were introducing themselves and now, the people were already hyped and bouncing with the music. It was 6pm and that's when the competition started. Every dance group had been prepared for this. The winner would get a cash and a test exemption so almost every dancer in school had tried to join with the competition. One by one, the group had started to perform their dance routines and I got tired of watching it so I went back to the club office and took a seat down on one of the chairs and sighed. I must have been sleeping because I jolted out of chair and my head hurt when the door came flying open, revealing a pretty pissed George. Along with him, he brought a company and my eyes shot open wide as I thought, this was the new kid. When he caught me staring at him, he grinned and raised a beer. The new kid chuckled and George growled. "This guy's pissing me off," George gritted the words out and the new kid snickered. "Really." George rubbed his face with his hands and glared at the new kid. The new kid raised up his hands in surrender and smirked. I arched a brow at him and he smiled genuinely at me. I smiled back, and then went back to frowning. I wasn't supposed to smile back, but somehow I did. This one was a rule breaker. "So he brought a heavy drink?" I asked George and he nodded furiously. I sighed. "You must be the new kid of the school. Heard a lot about you. Not the good ones." "Yeah, I heard them, too, and I agreed with them." He said smugly. I rolled my eyes at him. Not even 5 minutes had passed and this guy was pissing me off already. I took the beer out of his hand harshly and placed it on the table near me. He looked at it and scowled. "From what I've heard, your name is Cade Thompson?" I asked him, arching a brow, waiting for his answer. He nodded happily and offered his hand to me. I eyed his hand. "And I think you're the famous Richard Neil Sky," he said, smirking. "Yes, I am."
