Prelude There is a beauty in emotion called love, And this beauty is eternal. Prologue Her dad said it was good to help people, angels are always watching us. She never took it to heart but now that he was gone, helping people was last of his legacy she had to carry. His dead took toll on her. She seldom smiled, she suffered from nightmares and she had a weak nerves. “Freya Moresnon, here is your map for the school. Make sure you report back today and sign in for classes you want to opt finally.” A middle aged lady gave her a paper from the admission help counter. Westridge High was the school for rich , high class students. Her mother sent her here because this place had the literature staff and she always wanted to be a writer. Besides that Westridge was the town suggested by her doctor, Isabella. She had a house here so they don’t have to buy a complete new house and all the money was invested in this private school. She looked through her schedule and looked at the first class, Maths. Sighing and feeling lonelier than ever she walked through the bustling corridors. It was kind of great that she was average looking and people avoided her. She was not the nerdy kind with neither was she a hot cheerleader. She was just plain Freya. Sighing out of tiredness already, she stuffed her locker with the books and only took out the necessary stuff. Suddenly her phone buzzed and her mood lightened on seeing Brenna’s name on her screen. “How is school? Hazel is asking are there any hot guys?” She asked. “Hello to you to Bree.” She said chuckling over the phone. Squeezing books under one arm, she adjusted her mobile over her left ear. “I have spent mere ten minutes in school Bree, I don’t know if there are any hot guys and also my first class is Maths.” She informed her friends, feeling slightly better. “We are school gates and Hazel is busy with her touch up.” That bit of information made her chuckle. The bell rang and she hurriedly hung up not intending to be tardy on her first day. As she adjusted the phone and books in her hand averting eyes from the path, she collided into someone making her wince. Her books fell on the ground with a thud and so did her phone. She gasped in despair to see her precious phone and looked up at the person with whom she collided. Her phone was her baby now that she was away from her only friends. “Are you blind?” A dangerous voice growled at her. And she stood face to face with an angel, or atleast he looked like one. Or maybe he was sinfully delicious demon. He was a sight for sore eyes, beautiful, sexy and strong. It took her a moment to remember how to speak. “I am sorry.” She said sweetly as it was in her nature. “You are sorry. Look Josh, she is sorry.” He said stepping forward. Now she noticed whole crowd in the corridor was silent and was audience to her embarrassment. “Look what you have done, you destroyed my favourite shirt.” He said in a menacing tone. She actually did that, the ink from her pen had somehow splattered on to his snug fit grey tee. “I am really sorry. I can pay for it if you want.” She said genuinely feeling sorry now though she was still worried about her phone. The gorgeous boy laughed at her offer and gripped her wrist harshly. This is going to bruise, she thought as the grip hurt her. “I don’t need your money.” He yelled. She gulped in nervousness; this was not supposed to happen on first day of school. Boy looked at her with anger and some unsaid emotions, his lips pressed together in a thin line. She inhaled sharply and asked, “Then what do you want me to do?” As if her voice worked like a click of finger, he moved away and took off his shirt. Girls around gasped and giggled while she was flabbergasted at what just happened. He threw it on her face roughly and she caught it in her hands. “Wash it clean and if you don’t get that damn ink out, you will be given a new surprise in school every day, understood.” He snapped. Fighting back the tears, she gulped and nodded. She was angry but she didn’t want to make enemies. Her father didn’t taught her that. And then the handsome devil started walking away only in wife beater. “Newbie, what’s your name?” He suddenly called out and she could feel all the stares on her. Burning in shame she turned and looked at him. “None of your business, highness.” She answered with a fake sweet voice and a smile. He dare ask her , her name after insulting her. She had no idea where the sass came from. Boy almost growled in anger at her sudden show of attitude. His friend Josh, gripped his shoulder stopping him from doing something rash. “Alexander, let it go.” He muttered to a very angry boy. “Welcome to hell, newbie.” He sneered at Freya and she flinched at the way his violet eyes spelled troubles. Damn violet eyes, They were just breathtaking, Some insane part of her mind thought.
