Just Because It Happened

Synopsis:

Four years ago, Vander Zachary Davids, a well-known lawyer, lost his wife and his daughter in an accident. If it's not for his mother, he would definitely kill himself. But even he continued living, it feels like he wasn't alive anymore. He lost interest in life, he stopped being the lively and cheerful lawyer that everyone knows. Later, he decided to give up being a lawyer and continued his life as a prosecutor.

He then meets his co-prosecutor, Mara Antonette Cruz. She saw how lonely Vander is. So she didn't give up on cheering him up every day. She does everything she can do just to make Vander happy. Throughout their journey as a prosecutor, they will eventually investigate a crime that they both didn’t foresee to happen. They will soon find out that this crime has something to do with Vander’s wife and daughter. They will both attached to each other because of their mission. And then, as the days passed, feelings started to grow through Antonette's heart. She wants to tell Vander about her feelings, but she knows that Vander is married and is not yet over his feelings for his deceased wife. Before she confessed, things became complicated. They had s*x and Antonette got pregnant. Vander wants to take the obligation and wants to marry her but she refused. She doesn’t want to, because she knows it was just for their child. Little did she know, Vander’s feelings were starting to build upon his heart.
