Prologue

Faelme is the most beautiful Island in the world but only few humans had ever known about it's existence. Infact, they were more like suspicions since no one knew for sure. The inhabitants of this world are other beings, beings with magical powers. The kind you read about in books and could never prove that they exist. Faelme, since it's amalgamation, comprises three kingdoms. The sky kingdom inhabited by Fairies, The Land Kingdom inhabited by Elves and The Sea kingdom populated by Merfolks. From the outside world, Faelme is just a normal deserted earth Island but only it's magical inhabitants know that the Island contains the portal that leads to the heart of Faelme.... Until now! Blade, a sinister looking man with short cropped hair, sunken dull blue eyes with bags under them - a result of obsessive studying and countless sleepless nights, and a week's worth growth of beard on his chin, stared at the mess of papers scattered on the table in front of him. Some of those papers were published news articles, others were print outs from several search engines and other sources, the rest were his personal notes. After nearly five years of studying the subject of unexplained disappearances from around the world,he had come upon an Island which looked beautiful and calm enough but was a point where about a dozen people had mysteriously disappeared from over the past century and the survivors had at times claimed to have noticed strange things. No one had been able to prove anything though. Different people had called it by different names; A news agency that carried the report of a shipwreck called it the beautiful gate as somehow, all the victims of the wreck woke up with all their injuries gone. A French reporter had named it the Island of madness twenty-five years later when a dying woman claimed to have seen and spoken to small humanoid creatures who she claimed had abducted her, she had died before they could reach civilization. Blade's personal favorite name was " A beautiful Island with amazing wonder" said by a Caribbean Pirate captain who claimed to have seen an angel on the Island. His crew had pronounced him mad and said the Island was nothing but a disaster. Every effort to explore the Island always ended with disappointment. Since all the claims were spread out over different countries and were far between as much as several years, no one had been able to make the connection and Blade wouldn't have too if he hadn't been fortunate to get his hand on a certain pirate captain's journal. Blade stretched a bit from his sitting position as it all began to make sense to him. He was sure that Faelme had something he wanted and he was going to get it. He picked up the book with a dirty brown leather cover on the table and smiled at it. It was his greatest treasure and without it, he would not have made the discovery he had made. He made his way to his makeshift bed thinking as he went. He would need to employ skillful men to undertake his expenditure, He decided. It would cost him a lot of money to get them and provide them with arms but if they managed to catch even a few of those Strange Creatures in the book, Blade would be a very rich man. A very rich man indeed. A/N: Please read! Before you begin please note that readers interaction helps the book get promoted.
