Chapter One - The sexy, rude Irish stranger

1122 Words
Freya’s P.O.V “What can I get you, Sir?” I asked the guy that was sitting at the bar where I worked. He looked up at me, and I swear I went weak to my knees when I saw him.  He was the sexiest/beautiful man that I have ever seen. He had the thickest, gorgeous dark hair; the sexiest come to bed eyes, blue to be exact. His face sculpted to perfection, and he has the most luscious full lips that made we want to grab him by the collar of his top, pull him into me and kiss him. What was happening to me right now? I don’t act like this around men…ever. I had no time or patience for men, but this man whoa! Though he never looked as pleased to see me, he looked a little broken and dark; he had trouble written all over him. “Scotch on rocks, keep them coming.” He said in a thick Irish accent with no emotion to his tone. That would explain the sexy eyes, the sexy Irish eyes as I like to call them. “OK, Sir,” I said, smiling at him before making his drink up for him. I passed it to him and he never even looked up at me. He never also had the decency to say thank you, how rude. Though I should not expect anything less from him, they are all the same that come in here, rich fuckers that think they can treat the workers like s**t. You see I work in the Cosmo Red hotel in New York, one of the fanciest hotels that cost over $2000 a night to stay in so we get many million/ billionaires coming through, thinking they can treat us how they please. I went serving my other customers, and as I did, I could feel someone’s eyes on me, it felt like a very intense stare. It took time, but when I realised who it was I was surprised, it was the sexy Irish man. He was watching my every move, running his finger around the rim of his glass and the look was intense, so intense I felt like he was undressing me with his eyes, those very sexy eyes. I tried to ignore him but was finding it very hard; he was very distracting, very appealing. “Another!” He said, signalling me over to him like I was his maid. I rolled my eyes before putting a fake smile and making my way over to him, making him another drink. “You don’t exactly look the part to work in somewhere like this.” He said emotionless. “Excuse me?” I asked, pissed. How dare he say that to me? Who does he think he is? “Well for starters you have your hair like that, your outfit doesn’t match everyone else’s and let’s face it you don’t exactly have the most proper tone like the others.” He said. Seriously who is this asshole? “For starters, I can wear my hair how I like, and my manager doesn’t mind. Secondly, I am not one for wearing skirts up to my ass, and lastly, I am Scottish, I don’t do proper. Here is a little tip for you…learn some manners jackass.” I said, shaking my head and walking away from him. I am sure I heard him chuckle once I said that to him. I tried to busy myself, trying to keep my distance from him, only going over when he needed his drink refreshing. Every time I went to him, I could feel his eyes eyeing my full body, checking on my ass every time I stretched or bent over. “Can you please stop looking at my ass? I have not got the time or patience for men, especially men like you.” I said, finally having enough of him. “Men like me?” He said, c*****g his brow at me. “Yes, rich f***s who think they can get who and what they want,” I said. “I may be rich as f**k, but I don’t always get what I want because if I did, I would have had you, in my hotel room hours ago.” He said smirking. “Well isn’t that just a shame. I wouldn’t have s*x with you even if you paid me.” I said sarcastically. He chuckled loudly, reaching his hand over the bar, placing it over mine and looking me straight in the eyes. Once he did that his full expression changed and he soon pulled away. I was baffled right now, what made him change that quickly. “Who would have guessed you were still innocent and pure Freya.” He said, looking at my name badge, “Freya meaning Goddess of love.” He added, and he was right, that was the meaning. Wait? What? How did he even know that just by looking at me? I went to pull away, a little embarrassed, which is unusual for me because I never usually cared about that because that was my choice. I was only Twenty-one; I had plenty of time for s*x and relationships. Right now, my main focus was my studies because I worked my ass to get to where I was. I worked from when I was thirteen, working two jobs to help save money along with the money of parents gave me to make sure I had enough money to come to NYC and go to my choice of university.  I never got a chance to pull away because he grabbed my arm, stopping me from walking away. I turned back around to face him, and he was smiling at me, a softer smile this time around. “Don’t be embarrassed Freya. That is such a beautiful name,” He said, smiling at me. “Thank You,” I replied, blushing a little, making him laugh a little. “I am sorry about saying they things to do; it was rude and wrong of me. I am going to go because I am still getting filthy thoughts about you right now and that is very wrong.” He said. “You don’t have to go,” I said, smiling at him. He reached in, running his hand over my cheek and looking up at me. As soon as he touched me, my full body shook. It was like my skin was burning under his touch. “I do Freya, I am trouble for you, and you don’t deserve trouble. Thank you for my drinks. I may see you again; I may not. Enjoy the rest of your night beautiful.” He said sweetly. I went to say something, but before I could, he walked away. I stood there, not knowing how to react to all that just happened. I tried to get back to work, but my mind was somewhere else. It was on him…whoever he was. I never even knew his name. I wanted my shift to end to get away from here and try to get him out of my mind.
