The Heartless Alpha ~ 1

1036 Words
Author's note: 2020 update. Hello. It is I; the author of this tragic book. To be honest I really did make this book when I was 14; and it clearly shows. It also shows that I was self-taught. I was eager to write a book that I would be proud of and this was the end result. As you can tell not very good :(. I've read many comments about the book being trash, confusing (which is very true; IDK WHAT WAS GOING ON IN MY HEAD ;)), it being a waste of someones time, someone even said they had to warn others not to read the book; which honestly hurt my heart :( (I appreciate the brutal honesty tho).  At the time, I was excited to write this, so I poured my everything into this and now four years later, my hard work (at the time) is being appreciated and hated by others, which is completely fine and normal. I will improve. And I just wanted to say, I apologise, because that was obviously not my intention. When I was scouted by dreame, I honestly didn't think much of it. I didn't expect it to get as popular as it now. I just liked creating characters and bringing their stories to life. From reading the comments on this book, I can now say there was really no back stories to the characters. It is clear that I hadn't thoroughly thought out my characters properly and the plot as well was very much all over the place.  Once again, I apologise for disappointing you guys. Maybe in the future; I will rewrite this with better grammar, plot, backstory and character development.   --------- "She's a female wolf! You're seriously going to throw her in the cells when she's your mate and she's clearly not in shape for such conditions!" Beta Clark exclaimed as angry as his Alpha, feeling pity for the Alpha's mate. They had found her on the border of their pack hardly breathing, bruises and scars tattooing her whole body. Clark eyed the pale skin, that had various protrusions of lighter scars. "And so? Is it your problem? I'm Alpha and what I say goes." The Alpha, Kohen, ridiculed his beta. Kohen's lips twitched in severe impatience. Kohen looked at the woman in his Beta's arm, what the moon goddess called mate, she was nothing to him. He closed his eyes trying to ignore the taunting voice of his mate laughing at him, no remorse shown on her face as she slaughtered his family. "Let's hope she didn't hear a word you just said-" The Beta was cut off when Kohen growled at him— was his Beta so stubborn? Kohen's deep abyss of darkness, clashed with his amber gems, exposing his Wolf. "I said put her in the f*****g cells!" Kohen snarled at him, irritation seeping through to his timber voice. "Bu-" Clark started, but Kohen cut him off standing up from his chair. He was now beyond pissed. Each footstep, reminded Clark of their power difference. "I thought it would be clear to you, that I'm talking as the Alpha," Kohen snarled, his head slightly c*****g to the side, an eyebrow arched as if to tell Clark to disobey him. The Beta grumbled a few incoherent words and shook his head, knowing that what he was saying wasn't going to change the Alpha's mind. Kohen sat back down, once he had hear the nonchalant 'okay', before cradling the bony pale girl in his arms. It was such a shame. She would have been a great Luna. Kohen was just held up about what's happened in the past. Clark thought. "If only he could let it go." Beta Clark whispered to himself. He had gotten to the cells, the stench of rogues, silver, iron and death lingered heavily in the air, The bony girl stirred, but didn't show any signs of waking up. "This is no place for a Luna." He muttered, nodding at the guards who just stared at him with an emotionless expression. He sighed walking out of the cells, heading straight to his room. He looked left and right, but his eyes caught movement to his left. His mate came out of their room. Instantly, fury settled in her eyes, when she saw her mate carrying someone, but she couldn't see the girl, as his back was angled slightly to her. "Who is that?!" She pointed a manicured finger at the girl, from the behind. Clark froze, but slowly turned around, one look at the girl and Olivia's mouth was shut, tightly. The guilt crawled up her spin and gripped her heart. It was so easy to not trust someone and get jealous as soon as she sees her mate with someone other than her. Who would do such a thing? "I mean who the f**k would this kind of thing?" Olivia uttered, the years of abuse was clear on her skin. It was like something, she had never seen before. "Can you help me do all those womanly stuff you do? I don't want to tou-" Clark stopped himself in his track. He couldn't reveal that she was the Alpha's mate. Olivia nodded, receiving a kiss on the forehead. She smiled, sheepishly and took her from Clark. She's too thin. How did she even survive this art of abuse? Dawn, Olivia's wolf stated. A sigh of anger passed through her lips, trying to will herself not to cry. I don't know, but she's strong. Olivia replied. She went to her and Clark's room. Setting the girl on the bed, she solemnly walked into the bathroom, running a bath. Once it was warm enough, she carried the girl and stripped her. She lowered the girl into the bath, softly scrubbing her body from the dirt, careful not to hurt her. Every time she saw an angry, red scab, she winced, only thinking about the amount of abuse this girl could have gone through. Later she had dressed the girl and taken her to the pack hospital. "Luckily, she's healing, but she's in a coma. It'll take a while for her to wake up, but patience is the key." The doctor explained to Olivia. She nodded, quietly, resting her head in the palm of her hands.
