1- The Unholy Deed

1235 Words
"Alpha..", Liza, the witch of Christian's pack whispered in horror. "You can not be serious. Please don't do this. I beg you" "Can you do what I asked for or not? Give me a straight answer." Christian asked angrily. "I.. I can not." She replied hesitantly. She knew Christian's anger & desperation was rising with every passing second. She wanted to save her alpha from all the pain that he was ready to go through to get the love of his life, his mate Ava back. He had lost her because of his over possessive nature, along with a conspiracy created by a member of their own family to throw Ava out of their pack because she was human, not a werewolf-like the rest of them.  So she was considered worthless and unsuitable for being Christian's mate and the position of Alpha female. The misunderstanding created by that member had brought out the worst kind of anger in Christian and he had thrown Ava out of their pack. That was the biggest mistake he had committed. Because when the truth came out, there was no one more devastated than him. They had considered her dead because the mate bond between Christian and Ava was broken.  But after six years, when two days ago Christian had seen Ava with another male in a party where all the alpha werewolves of the country were invited, he had decided to get her back. He was ready to die to have her back. (If you haven't read Christian & Ava's story yet, it's published as "Dominant Alpha" on my profile. Check it out. Its a hit here. It won't affect your pleasure of reading this story but you will definitely enjoy this story much more if you did.) Now even if he had to kill himself to get her back, he was ready to do so without even a blink. But in front of an alpha, Liza did not have strength nor position to lie or hide the truth from him. So she continued, "I am a servant of nature, Alpha. I can not a***e its powers. It will render me powerless & soulless for eternity. But one of my sisters can. The ones who are trained in that kind of magic. Who knows what they are doing with all the possibilities of danger & power." "Car is outside. Show me the way." Christian ordered. "We will be needing your private jet for that," Liza said just before Christian started storming out of the door. 2 Hours Later  In The Woods Somewhere Near Texas "Kate," Lisa called out from outside of the door of the mansion. Nowhere near the population, the mansion stood out in the middle of woods like a miracle. And to some extent it actually was. The doors opened before Lisa even finished the name. Silently they walked inside to see a gorgeous lady looking no more than twenty-three of age stood in the middle of the mansion. She walked forward slowly in her bloodred flowing gown which had a slit up to the thigh. Head held high, she came forward. Without giving even a glance towards Christian she hugged Lisa, "Sister." She whispered. Joy & pure happiness visible in her voice. Lisa returned the favor with equal enthusiasm. After pulling back her whole attention turned towards Christian. Her gaze assessing, more like scrutinizing him. "Alpha." She bowed in honor. "Its a pleasure to finally have you here." "Did you know that we were coming?" Christian asked in confusion while glancing at Lisa to confirm. "Yes. & No." Kate replied. Just as Christian opened his mouth to ask her about the witchy ways she continued, "What brings you here?" Christian hesitated a little. But he trusted Lisa and the choice of her helper. "I want you to make me immortal. Immortal to the extent that renders me unharmed to even a werewolf's death. Not from snapping my neck, nor from any sickly wound, make my death impossible." Lisa was still cowering from the fear of the upcoming ungodly deed. she did not know if her sister could do something like that or not. "I can not do that," Kate replied in her sickly sweet tone. Christian's anger rose. He had to come all this way for nothing?  He grabbed the nearest thing and threw it across the hall. The five-inch long, four hundred years old gold statue of a mermaid now laid in pieces on the ground. "However.." Kate continued as she watched the remains of the gold now scattered on the floor with utmost interest, "I can do something that would render you unharmed to a werewolf and mortal death. what I can not do is make you immortal. because that is not in our hands." Christian contemplated her words. He knew Ava was with her new mate, Van, now. The look she had given him when he had tried to touch her, to beg her to come back with him was of pure hatred. He knew she was not yet ready to forgive him. He had to go to Van's Silver Moon Pack in a few hours. The fool thought that he was going there just for a "talk". i***t. She was angry with him. He was ready to do whatever it took to get her back. Even if it meant k********g her from Van's pack. he had already ordered his pack soldiers to be ready for war. "Where does this leave me?" He asked. "Somewhere between a vampire & a werewolf. You are going to be the world's first Werewolf - Vampire Hybrid." She replied while looking straight in his eyes. Christian growled in anger. Vampires & werewolves were eternal enemies. It was impossible to even think about taking up the qualities of an enemy that you have hated your whole damn life. "Witch, have you not even considered your words before spitting them out? Do you seriously have a death wish?" Christian asked angrily. "I gave you the answer that you came here for alpha. your death can not be caused by anything else. If you complete the ritual, your death can only be caused by burning your body & scattering your ashes afterward. Now it's in your hands to choose." Kate said. "Let's get started," Christian ordered. He didn't have time to think. He knew what he wanted. "But you should know that there are consequences of doing something like that. Something this unnatural. Black magic this strong has its own price." "What's the price?" He asked. Of course, he knew that something like that was not going to take a small sacrifice. Kate paused for a second. Her gaze glided to Lisa who was plastered to the nearest wall, scared like a lamb. "You will not be an alpha anymore." A shiver of dread ran down Christian's spine. Lisa outright gasped aloud. What he did not feel was even a second of doubt about his decision. He wanted Ava with him. Even if it took all the strength and power that he had. "I'm ready." He replied immediately. Kate nodded. It was like she already knew his decision. She lifted her chin up and started walking towards the door. Just as she heard him following her, she said with her teeth clenched shut in frustration, "And you owe me a damn four centuries-old antique with my salary."
