3 more days until my birthday. then a month tell the full blue moon when ill be come Alpha.

this what goes through my mind as i peel myself out of bed, and get ready for the last couple weeks of school. I can't believe I'm a senior about to graduate from our high school. all this is going through my head as i pick out clothes from my walk in. 

"ugh damn these boobs.'' I tell myself, adjusting. I'm a D cup so shirts can be tricky sometimes. I comb my long brown hair which sits just above my butt and fix my makeup so it makes my silver eyes pop.

I finally landed on a light blue flowy shirt that hugs my t**s without exposing them and a pair of jeans that show off my ass just right. I grab a pair of blue sneakers to match, and put them on. grab my books and bag and head down stairs to the pack kitchen. 

"hey everyone!" i say as i sit down at the table to the right of my mom. 

"Hi Kiri" my mom says, planting a kiss on my cheek.

 "are you excited for your birthday this weekend?" she says as i start scarfing down my chocolate chip pancakes. 

"uh kinda?" I say with a mouthful. "ohh these are so damn good!!" I said to her. 

"Don't change the subject on me." she says, giving me a sideways glance, i roll my eyes. 

"are you nervous about the party or finding out that your mate might not be who you want it to be?" she asks as she looks down the table to Mitch my soon-to-be Beta.

"MOM!'' I whisper almost choking on my last pancake. 

"OK, FINE'' I say in a huff "yes i am a little nervous about finding out who my mate will be since I've never been with anyone."

"Its ok honey" my mom says patting my arm and leaning close to me 

"i was nervous too on my 18th birthday, but that's also how i met your father, i didn't know at the time that he was the alpha from another pack, but he looked right at me after i turned 18 on the dot and said 'MINE''' she said with a dreamy look in her eyes.

 "that was the best day of my life. it's too bad he died so soon after our ceremony when those rouges attacked." I could see the tear in her eye but as Alpha she never lets anyone see her cry. 

"Alpha Luna, we have some business to attend to." her beta Walt says from the corner of the kitchen walking toward us, he's tall with dirty blonde hair and brown eyes, just like Mitch. he leans down to her ear and whispers something to her I can't hear. She gives a curt nod and stands up. 

"Why don't you guys mind-link?" I ask her before she walks away.

"because sometimes things need to be heard in person." she says mysteriously. 

"Well, Kiri, I have some things to get done. I love you and have a good day at school." she says to me walking away from the table. I stand up to get my bag ready and grab the car keys. 

I see that Mitch is talking to the pack slut Kora. She's short with blonde curly hair and blue eyes, she loves to drive the unmated males crazy since she still hasn't found hers last year when she turned 18. Hopefully she might find one at my party since over half the nation's packs are coming.

 as i put my backpack on i see my mom pop around the corner "oh! Kiri I have something for you!" she says with a  big smile on her face, tossing me a set of car keys.

"mom I have the key already to the pack truck." I say , holding up the keys she just threw at me. they look different then the ones in my other hand.

"i know but you might want to go to the garage and click the unlock button on those ones, oh and happy early birthday!" she says with a wink and goes back to work. 

I set the truck keys on the kitchen island and told one of the omega to go put them up. "yes miss Kiri" he says, grabbing the keys and walking away. I see Mitch is still talking to Kora, so I decided it was time to get to school even though we still had 45 minutes and the schools only 15 minutes away.

I walk quickly up to them and grab Mitch by the hand, feeling small sparks when I do. 

"Time to go to school Beta!" i say, leading him to the door. Kora looks pissed as I open the door and shut it before she can say anything. 

‘take that bitch.’ I think to myself letting go of Mitch's hand and walking to the pack garage.

"why did you do that?" Mitch asked me as we walked into the garage. 

"because i'm the future Alpha and she needs to know her place." i say as i click the button on the keys. a green Chevy Camaro beeps in response.

"Oh my Goddess!!'' I squeal as I run up to the car. 

"Do you see this Mitch??'' I ask him as he walks over and opens the passenger door.

 "Damn" is all he says as we sit in the front seats and soak it all in. It has a convertible top and all the bells and whistles with a brand new sound system. I put the key in and listen to it roar to life. 

I moan a little listening to purr. Mitch give a indescribable look as i do 

"what?'' I ask him as he looks out the window.

he ignores my question and clicks the open button for the top and says "well let take out time getting to school, shall we?" he says wiggling his eyebrows.

 I laugh as we pull out of the pack garage blasting the radio, I see Kora standing in the doorway of her house glaring at me as we pull out to the driveway towards the road. i laugh and stick my tongue out at her, i know it's childish but i don't care. 

as we drive down the road to school i turn up the radio and it's my favorite song , old town road. I start dancing and singing at the top of my lungs as I drive, getting really into the song. as it ends i look over at Mitch and he's just staring at me with a blank look.

 "you ok?'' I ask him as we pull into the school parking lot. 

he shakes his head like he was in a trance and just whispers "yeah totally fine." as I park. He unbuckles his belt and grabs his bag from the floor and gets out before I can even grab my bag.

‘ well that was weird.’ i think to myself as i jog up behind him as we walk into the school. There's no one here yet but teachers getting ready for the day we're 30 minutes early. I follow him to our lockers cause they are right next to each other.

he opens his and i open mine to put our backpack in them since we both have PE first. he closes his locker and i do the same. he pauses a moment and looks me right in the eyes and says seriously "i can't wait till Saturday" 

"yeah i know me too, it's going to be so much fun turning 18 together even though im 10 minutes older" i say with a giggle.

"That's not what I meant , Kiri." he says closing the short distance between us. His breath is hot on my neck as he leans over and inhales deeply.

 " Why must you always smell so good?" he says with a husky voice. He looks up into my eyes and leans in close as if to kiss me. I feel his breath on my lips and my eyes flutter close. 

OMG i can't believe this is happening.

"Miss Sliverstone, Mr. McHenry.'' I hear Mrs. Pitch call us in a questioning tone. Mitch pulls away quickly picking up his gym clothes that must have fallen. 

my panties are soaked and as he bends over he sniffs and growls loudly enough for just me to hear him.

 "What are you two doing here so early?" she asks, walking up to us. 

"we have a report for history to finish and need to use the library." Mitch says not missing a beat. 

"oh very well then. you two should make your way to the library then, yes?" she says hold out her hand motioning to the library.

 We walk past her on our way to the library and I am so flustered my face feels bright red and all I can think about is the fact that Mitch wants to kiss me.
