New girl

Chapter 1

"Honey, come and help me carry this box, my hands are full" my mom screamed from downstairs.

 Ugh I rolled my eyes in annoyance. Is it my fault that dad cheated on mom with his office secretary?

 SO CLICHE I thought. Come on dad, did you really have to do that? Wasn't the woman you've been married to for 17 years and your 15 year old daughter enough?

 Tear pricked my eyes. I no longer thought about that because it would make me cry. 

I didn't even have time to think about it though, I was moving to a new state (California) in 2 weeks and I will be going to a new school which is SUPER stressful thinking about.

 "I'm coming mom" I shouted as I went down the stairs. "Sweetheart, I know that this is a tough time for you and I'm sorry that this had to happen, but your father is lying and a cheating piece of scum and I can't bear seeing him going around town with that rubbish of a woman, Karen." she choked out. My mom is very emotional and I don't like seeing her cry

"Don't worry mom, don't cry. Everything happens for a reason" I told her sweetly.

I felt like like a hypocrite because I  also felt like crying.
