The Unwanted Mate

Chapter One

A girl can be seen running into the school just as the bell rang. ''s**t, I'm late again for my first period class. Ms. Johnson is going to be pissed! She don't like knowone to come in her class after the bell rings. When the girl enters Ms. Johnson's AP English class nonchalantly everyone attention went to her giving her a surprised look.  "Good Morning everyone,'' she said, as she walks in and took her seat. Ms. Johnson gave the girl a stoned face cold stare look from the door to her cold hard seat. She let the girl get comfortable in her seat then said, " Young lady you're late again! This is your fourth time this month so since your are late today, you have a week of detention! I  can't believe you, said Ms. Johnson! Ms. Johnson, it's not my fault, the girl tried to reason! ''Coming in here, interrupting my lesson because you want to come class late" said Ms. Johnson.

        The girl name was Winter Summer Sony. She's  5' 4'',  with brown hair and hazel eyes.Her family and friends call her ''Snow''. The youngest out of her siblings. Her other sibling names were Jackson, 23 and his mate name was Emily, 20, Divine, 20 and her mate name is Elijah, 22,  Aaron, 18 and then Snow who was 16 years-old. Her and Aaron haven't found their mates yet.  Snow was the child of parents who were the Betas of the Diamond Jewel Pack, Peter and Jill Sony. Snow has yet to acquire her attribute and ability to shift into wolf form but she's very anxious with anticipation. 

         The bell rang, class was over and Ms. Johnson dismissed everyone except for Snow. Ms. Johnson said, "Winter so you'll know, detention starts right after last period in my class until 5:30...Be...On...Time". 'Yes Ms. Johnson, I'll be on time," she said with somber. From Ms. Johnson, Winter went to her locker to get her books out for next period. Her friends Zoey, Frank, Blake and Abigail came up. "Hey Snow, we didn't see you this morning before school. Where were you,'' asked Zoey"? "I overslept this morning and now I got detention for Ms. Johnson class. I'll swear that women don't like me," said Winter.

         The bell rang and they all went there separate ways. Snow went to her AP World History class with Mr. Data. She liked Mr. Data. She respected him because she thought he was a cool guy. She walked in class to see that the only seats that were available was is in the front so she took her seat. Mr. Data walked in as the bell rang. "Good Morning class...lets begin everyone. Okay lets open our text books to page 225. I want yall to read to page 230. We'll read for half of the class and for the other half  you'll answer questions about what you've read,'' he said. Snow and her classmates all opened their textbooks and started to read. The book they were reading was Dr. Frances Cress Welsing's,...0 "The Isis Papers: The Keys to the Colors".  The class finished there reading and answered the questions in the lessons just in time before it was time to go. The bell rang and everyone exited Mr. Data's class. 

School went by so fast that before Snow knew it, it was time for last period. Then after school she had detention until 5:30. When last period was over she started running to Ms. Johnson class  and made it before she closed the door. As she entered the class there were about twelve other students sitting down in the their seats, quiet and doing there homework. She took her seat and started doing her homework as well. After a while she looked up at the clock and thought to herself, ''it's only 4:00, damn, 5:30 is going to take forever''. She opened her notebook and starts her AP Math homework. When she started her math homework time went by fast. When Snow looked up again at the clock it was 5: 23. Ms. Johnson told them, ''Okay students...yall can put your things away and have a pleasant rest of your day and see you tomorrow.

     Winter("Snow") left school and when she came out of the door she saw Jackson in the parking lot waiting for her in his 2021 brown Pathfinder Exclusive edition Jeep. Jackson whistled and raised his arms and Winter walked over to the jeep. "Hey J, what are you doing here" she asked? "Ma told me to pick you up, so here I am yo because she didn't want you walking home or taking the bus this time of night. It gets dark early so that why I came. Get inside... lets get home" said Jackson. Thanks J for picking me up," said Winter. "By the way,why are you so late getting out of school today" asked Jackson? She took a deep breath and said, "I was late for Ms. Johnson class this morning so she gave me detention".  He said, ''Damn she gave you detention for being late one time"? ''Well...no I been late like four times to her class this month,'' she said. ''Starting tomorrow I will be waking you up for school, plus taking you and picking you up from school,'' said Jackson.

      The ride home from school  was fun for Jackson and Winter. They was singing songs and playing the car color game on the way home like they always used to do. When they got at the house Jackson parked the truck in the garage. They went  into the pack house and Winter went straight into the kitchen. She washed her hands, went in the refrigerator to get a snack before dinner and grabbed a bottle of water, a bag of chips then left the kitchen to off to her room.

     Winter left the kitchen and bumped into Alpha Raymond and Luna Cynthia . "Good Evening, how are you all this evening, asked Winter? "Good Evening Winter, we're fine,'' they said. "Well I'll see you both at dinner," said Winter and she excused herself then headed for her bedroom.  Winter entered her room, took her clothes off and went to the bathroom to take a shower. After getting out of the shower she dried her hair off, put it up in a messy bun, got dressed in her pj's and left the bathroom. She went to her bedroom, sat on her bed and started to finish the  homework she didn't at detention. It took her about two hours and thirty minutes to finish and while she waited for dinner she ate the rest of her snack.

        After she finished her snack she started getting her clothes together for school tomorrow. "Snow...dinner is ready" yelled her sister Divine''! ''Ok Divine I'm coming" Winter yelled back! She left out of her room and went downstairs to go into the kitchen. She sat by her brother Aaron and beside Jackson's mate Emily. They were waiting for Alpha Raymond and Luna Cynthia to come to the table then they would be able to eat. About 20 minutes later emerged Alpha Raymond and Luna Cynthia. As they entered the dinner hall they both apologized, "sorry everyone we are late we were on the phone with our sons". Peter asked, "How are they doing"?  "Nice of you to ask Peter, they're fine, they'll be home for good in two days. We can't wait...we haven't seen them in six years," said Luna Cynthia . "They're done their Alpha training and they can come home for good now so I can teach them how to run the pack,'' said Alpha Raymond. "That's great because we miss them too,'' said Jackson. "Jackson this means you will start your Beta training as well" said Alpha Raymond. "Yes Alpha and I'm ready" said Jackson.

     "Do you think they found their mate yet" ask Jill?  "No, not that we know of," said Luna Cynthia. "When they get here I guess we'll find out," said Aaron . "Alpha, why  do you both keep saying that the boys found there mate, don't you mean mates" asked Winter? "No they're twins. They will share a mate. That's how the Moon Goddess made the universe with the realm of wolfdom. If you're twins they will share one mate only if they're same s*x" said Alpha Raymond. "Wow, with all do respect that's some freaky deaky stuff that the Moon Goddess did," said Winter. Everyone laughed  and Luna Cynthia said, "Let's eat, we have a lot do". 

     After dinner Winter helped clear the table. Luna said, ''Jill, Divine, Winter and Emily can you  meet me in the Luna office". In unison they all said, "yes Luna''! Once they finished cleaning the dinner hall they all went to the Luna office. Jill knocks on the door and the Luna said, ''Come in ladies. Take a seat everyone. Thank you today for attending this meeting. With the boys arriving Monday I wanted to know if you all would mind in helping your Luna in preparing a welcoming home party for them''? They all obliged with marvelous conviction and glee for the Luna and the boys. The Luna said, ''Well we all know what our jobs are so lets get to it ladies," said Luna Cynthia. They all got up to leave and as they were leaving Luna told Jill to stay behind. She needed to talk to her. 

      "Cynthia, what's wrong, why did you need me to stay behind? Is everything, ok with the boys,'' asked Jill? "Jill, I'm afraid my boys aren't  the same way as when they left. I mean, we talked on the phone but it's going to be different seeing them everyday. I miss them so much. Well we'll see them Monday. It'll be grand if they've found their mate while away and she's  good to them. Jill I wish that Winter could be their mate. If I were the Moon Goddess that's what Alpha Raymond and I would want. Please never tell anyone I said this. Being a Luna, one must never approach matedom from an emotional perspective for it's beyond my ability but through the will of the Moon Goddess I must do what is best for the pack...understand,'' said Cynthia

.            Jill said, ''Yes Luna, I follow you totally because Peter and I wished that too''. Luna Cynthia said, ''but Winter doesn't have her wolf yet so she won't know, but your sons will since they are older than her so that doesn't mean that they can't be mates and the boys are older so they should be able to smell her without her having her wolf essence''. ''It's all thru the will of the Moon Goddess, so we'll see but you're right plus that would be nice us being ''in- laws," said Jill. They both laughed. Luna Cynthia said, "Well Thanks for your time and building with a sister. We'll talk tomorrow. Get yourself some good rest. They exchanged a sisterly embrace said their goodbyes then  Beta Jill departed. 

     Jill retreated to her bedroom while Luna Cynthia stayed in her office to resume to complete some unfinished work. Winter allowed about ten minutes to go by before she knocked on the door of her parents room to tell them goodnight but before retreating to her room she asked her mother, ''Ma, what was that all about''? ''Huh,'' said her mother? Winter said, ''You know, the meeting...what was you and the Luna talking about''? ''Ummm...nonion'' she said. ''What's that Ma, is that a new business marketing consultant group we've established or something,'' asked Winter? Her mother with a smile on her face said, ''No that means "None of your Damn Business'' what we was talkin' bout now goodnight. Get your rest so you won't be late tomorrow''. She said, ''good night'' and gave her parents a kiss and left the room. Back in her room, she set her alarm, got in the bed, laid down and allowed her subconscious to take over the conscious mind...sleep.
