CHAPTER ONE

HUDSON "You are kidding me, right?" I glare at him.  He's talking some jargons that I don't understand.  "No Sir, that's what was written in their will" he answers. I think my parents have gone insane.  They are dead and they are still creating problems in my life. "How do you expect me to just take a complete stranger into my house, I mean, this is not acceptable" I shout, almost banging at his table. "Please Mr Hudson, you have to understand that the girl has nowhere to stay but with you" Mr Amonte, my father's attorney explains. He has been my father's loyal friend and attorney for as long as I can remember.  How did he let my parents make this irrational decision before they passed away?.  I know they mean well but what were they thinking?.  They wrote in their will that they want who ever is taking custody of their little son, Benjamin, who happens to be my little brother, will have to take him along with his nanny. I mean who does that.  I can find him another nanny, so why should I bring the old one. "Son, just try and understand, the boy needs her" he says. "Oh really?" I ask sarcastically. He keeps quite for a while, making me feel guilty for talking to him like that. But I'm too angry to care right now. "This is what your parents want, you can at least honour their last wish, right?" he asks calmly. So he thinks that I f*****g care about their wishes, well, I don't.  I never did and I won't now. I get up from my seat furiously. "I came here to talk about the business and you're telling me about some bizarre will of my parents, so it seems to me that you don't have any important thing to talk about with me" I kinda shout at him before storming out of the office. I can hear him calling out my name but I didn't even bother to look back at him.  I have other important business to finish with my parents right now. My driver opens the car for me as soon as walk out of the building.  I hop into the car and he closes the door. "Where to, Sir?" he asks, looking at me through the front mirror. "To the cemetery" I answer. He hesitates for a while before saying "Ok Sir". My phone vibrates and when I check, it's Mr Amonte's message, so I just ignored it and switch off my phone as well.  I will talk to him when he finally has something reasonable to discuss with me.  But now, I want to go and deal with those dead people.
