Blurb

Monica backed away into the wall, her heart pounding in her chest as he walked towards her. He caged her with his arms, trapping her, as he proceeded to punch the wall. Monica flinched and shut her eyes, sucking in a breath. "I told you to stay away from me!" Tyson yelled, his voice inhumane. "Calm do-" He let out a growl, grabbing hold of her chin. "Not a word, or I'll do something I'll regret later." Tears blurred her vision, and she pushed his hand away from her face, the sparks erupting in their skins not soothing either of them. She looked away immediately, not wanting him to see her cry. "You know this isn't my fault," she muttered, after taking in a deep breath. "I'm as helpless in this situation as you are, Tyson. And I wasn't trying to seduce-" "Lies!" He snapped, making her flinch again. "If you were really such a pure and innocent girl, you would not be carrying someone else's baby in your womb." A wave of regret washed over him as soon as the words left his mouth, but it was too late now. The damage was done. Monica looked up to meet his gaze with wide, shocked eyes, and a tear slid down her cheek. Tyson's expression softened almost instantly, as he realized what he had done, but before he had the chance to fix anything, her hand met with his cheek. A slap echoed through the room as his head whipped to the side from the impact. He blinked, looking at the ground, eyes changing color, as he balled his fists. "How dare you?" She questioned, anger and hurt evident in her tone, as a second tear left her eye. She pushed him away from herself by his chest, making him take a step back. "You know nothing about me, or what I've been through. So you have no right to make any comments on my past, my life, or my choices. And if you think I'm such a slut, and that I'm too dirty for you, you can go and f**k yourself, Tyson. I'm not dying to play your girlfriend, or share a room with you. Especially not at the expense of my self-respect," she stated, pushing him further away. "I'm leaving." She tried to walk towards the door, but Tyson quickly caught hold of her wrist. "Wait, Monica-" he tried, as guilt tugged at his heart. "Let go of me," she snapped, interrupting him, as she pulled her hand out of his grip. She tried to walk away again, but he blocked her way. "Tyso-" "Shh," he cut her off, covering her mouth with his hand as he pushed her back again, gently pinning her against the wall. Monica struggled to get free from his hold, but he caught hold of her wrists and pinned them above her head, stepping closer to her in the process. "What are you doing?" She asked, her breath hitching, as her heart started to race. "I'm not letting you leave," he stated with determination. "I am leaving, Tyson. How long do you think you can you stop me? I'm done with your rude, egoistical behavior, your selfishness, and your repulsive accusations," she replied, glaring at him. "No, you're not leaving," Tyson replied through gritted teeth, before leaning in closer to her. "And even if you manage to, I will not hesitate to throw you over my shoulder and drag you back here. Do you understand?" He growled, his eyes flashing purple. Monica felt her heart race, and she blinked at him, gulping. "Why?" She asked softly. "Because you don't want to lose your rank?" She scoffed. "No," Tyson shook his head, shifting his gaze to the floor for a moment, before he looked her in the eye again. His eyes were back to a beautiful forest green now, and they contained an emotion she hardly ever saw in his eyes. "Because..." He tongue flicked over his lips in uncertainty, before his teeth dug into his lower lip. "Because I'm starting to get used to your presence, and-and I don't know what I'll do without you anymore." - - - - - -
