CHAPTER ONE

Sophia's Point of View:   Ding, ding, ding!   Rolling over in bed with a groan I quickly slapped my hand down on my alarm clock. I swear that thing was so annoying. I reached up and took up my phone from my bedside table I mentally cursed when I saw that it was six o'clock. I quickly climbed out of bed when I remembered that I have an interview for a new job at 9 o'clock which is just 3 hours from now. I recently moved to the area for a fresh start, its been a year since my parents died and I wanted to start all over.   For all who are wondering my name is Sophia Carter and I am 24 years old. Today I am going for an interview that I feel will change my life forever. I went to the kitchen to make myself a simple breakfast of toast and coffee. I absolutely love to cook, and I know if I started now, I would not have finished in time for me to reach for my interview. With a sigh I went to the bathroom to have a quick shower. I wrapped a towel around my body and then brushed my teeth. I rinsed my mouth before placing my toothbrush back in its original spot. I then left the bathroom to continue and get ready. I slipped on some lace undies and then moisturized my body. I slipped on a pair of thin black stockings and put on my dress.   I slipped on my heels and let my hair out in its natural waves. I picked up my clutch and I was ready, I glanced at my phone to see it was now 8 o'clock. With a smile on my face I turned on my heels and went through the door. Completely nervous. That's the only emotion I'm feeling right now. I arrived at around 8:55, at that time there was a beautiful middle-aged woman with blonde hair and hazel eyes. She had a big smile on her face that instantly eased my mind.   "Hello," she greeted with a warm smile "my name is Karen Jones and I am the current secretary for Mr. Santos"   "Hello," I replied "it's nice to meet you"   She smiled at me and then directed me to a chair in front of a door with the words Mr. Dimitri Santos CEO. I nervously sat down and waited for my interview to start. I glanced around the room, to really appreciate the decor. It was really beautiful and modern.   The walls were in different shades of grey and brown, that blended in perfectly with each other. I looked across the room to see a door open to reveal Ms. Jones. She walked over to me and gestured for me to stand.   "Follow me," she requested as she turned to walk to the door in front of me.   With a single knock on the door she opened it to reveal a well-furnished office with glass windows from one side of the room to the next. In front of the glass window is a desk and chair. Inside the chair there sat a man with dark brown hair and a very handsome face with a brooding look on his face. His eyes were narrowed and glued to his laptop.   He only looked up when I stepped into the room. I couldn't help but to keep my eyes on his as I entered the room. I hesitantly turned to see that Ms. Jones has already left the room. With a deep breath I turned around to see that he was still looking at me. I hastily made my way over to the chair in front of his desk.   "M-may I have a seat?" I asked nervously He continued to stare at me till I couldn't take it anymore. "Why are you looking at me like that?" I snapped.     I immediately clasped my hand over my mouth silently cursing for the outburst. I wasn’t even in this interview for a minute and I was already giving trouble. He didn't seem to hear me though, so I was surprised when he replied. "I'm mesmerized"
