HER BIRTH Clear water trickled down against velvety skin of luxuriant leaf and dropped on her face. Those innocent, emerald green eyes fluttered, as that single drop tickled her face and slipped down her forehead and halted on the huge green leaf beneath her little body. Such a small act of cool drop made that little infant baby to giggle with exultation. Her gorgeous face bloomed with laugh of pleasure, as she enjoyed the little game of nature. Her name was Ray -- appropriate to her delighted face. In between the bundle of flowers and in middle of enchanting odour, Ray, was enjoying every bit of her life. Why wouldn't she? After all she was the princess of flowers. "Are you okay, my little princess?" Kenna, the current queen of flowers, cooed with kindness in her watery eyes. Queen Kenna, mother of Ray, was as beautiful as Ray. Her hazel eyes, full lips, long and slick golden hair, she was epitome of gorgeousness. She was on top of the world that day. The reason was beautiful. She had given a birth to a beautiful, little Angel. The sweet feeling of being mother had enraptured Queen Kenna. Her eyes were not letting her to look at somewhere else rather than her baby. Under the cave of leaves and flowers, happiness was dancing with great pleasure. Everything was welcoming...but happiness had not come alone. It had brought some dust of sadness with it. "Almighty Louis has come." Elvis, the king of flowers and father of Ray, informed in a hesitant tone. His olive green eyes were filled with fear. As Queen Kenna heard King Elvis's voice, she couldn't stop her stinging tears to flow down from her eyes. She knew that something bad was about to come. "Are you okay, dear?" Elvis squeezed Kenna's slumped shoulder. Controlling her crystalline tears, she cleared her throat, which was blocked in deep emotions. "What is he going to do with our baby?" Her voice cracked and body shivered with an awful imagination of the future. King Elvis emanated a sigh, heart beating in unusual way. Fear and insecurity had not even left him. "He's come here to protect our baby, dear." he uttered, beholding his lovely daughter's innocent face. Anger dominated Queen's body. Her hands clenched, her hazel eyes narrowed. "He has come to protect her?" she spat, "No. He can't. He was the one, who had forced me to,” -- she caressed top of her daughter's head, -- "kill her." "Yes, I had." Glorious voice of almighty Louis resounded in the cave. King Elvis startled, but Queen Kenna's anger rose a bit 'cause her little precious jewel, her daughter, began crying. Green tears had started flowing down from her eyes. It enraged Queen Kenna, and she decided to ignore the almighty Louis's presence. "Queen Kenna," Louis's voice rose, his eyebrows furrowed. When Queen Kenna didn't respond, his ire upraised. But he didn't show it. He just ran his hand over his white long beard. With white long gown and glittering stick, almighty Louis was the synonyms of glory. He was powerful and had magical powers, which he had always used for the betterment of nature and empire of flowers. "I can understand your hatred towards me, Queen Kenna," he walked forward, stamping his magical stick on wet floor. "But I had suggested it for the safety of your empire." Queen preferred silent over it. She knew, what dangers were before her and her empire, but still...she had given birth to her baby. She couldn't kill her last hope. "You can't ignore the harsh reality, Queen Kenna," Louis bellowed, getting impatient. His stick glittered. "Existence of my daughter is not a harsh reality, Almighty Louis. She is the beautiful truth," Queen uttered each word with such a force that veins in her temples began throbbing. "She is," Louis's voice rose again, his jaw clenched, his grip on his stick tightened. "She is the beautiful truth, even though she is_" "Don't we have any other option to protect our empire...," King Elvis interrupted Louis. "And even our daughter?" Silence spread in the cave. Queen Kenna waited impatiently with batted breath for Almighty Louis' answer. She was hoping for a positive response. "There is my majesty." It was a positive response from Almighty Louis. Immediately, Queen Kenna stood up on her feet. "What is it, Almighty Louis?" Her eyes filled with a last hope. "There is only one option with you, Queen Kenna," Louis said, stamping his stick on the floor, "You have to enter in human world with her." "We'll do it," Queen Kenna agreed instantaneously, without pondering over the thing. Almighty Louis was taken aback by it. "But it is quiet risky," he glanced at baby, and couldn't stop himself from smiling. She was too innocent, too pure. "Especially for her." Slowly he wended towards the baby, a kind smile not living his lips. When he reached closer to her, Queen Kenna stood aside, looking back and forth between her giggling child and Almighty Louis. Louis gingerly stroked baby's cheek with his finger, and revolved a stick on top of her as blessing. Dust of stars sprinkled and innocent angel laughed in pleasure. "What is that risk, Almighty Louis?" King Elvis asked worriedly. Louis heaved a sigh, and again stroked his finger on baby's cheek. "King Elvis, you have to protect her...from him."
