Part One - The Unseen Truth

1002 Words
WARNING: BOOK MAY CONTAIN A LOT OF GRAMMATICAL ERRORS, FILLED WITH SLOW UPDATES, A PINCH OF CLICHES AND A LOT OF SUPERNATURAL ENTITIES  I feel like this needs to be said before anyone starts to read… Queen Athena, isn't a regular werewolf/ supernatural story and it also has its own lore one that you would learn as you read further into the book. (also this book is still under major editing) This book will have a lot of plot twists and cliff hangers. That will lead you be frustrated and maybe a little bit irritated, but its all in the book. And for those romance readers, my protagonist will indeed take time to build their relationship, (its not really a romance nor about relationships) its all about character development and mystery or I at least try to . I want to make this book as best as my abilities could take me and I made it to a point that sure there might be clichés in my book, but I want it to be as realistic as a supernatural book can be.  Also, CREATIVE CRITICISM is always welcome, i appreciate it really, it makes me a better writer. But please refrain from putting NEGATIVE COMMENTS  or just being PLAIN OLE MEAN. Please don't devalue anyone's hard work, the world is already going through so much, we don't need to spread negativity. No one is forcing you to read this book(or anyone's), if you don't like it, that totally alright, delete it from your library and never look back. It's not everyone's cup of tea, so if you can be so kind as to remember that.  This book might be in the Werewolf genre but it also has a lot of sub-genre, mostly supernatural. You might notice a lot of creatures making their appearances in my book, ex. vampires.  to conclude this I want to thank you all for taking time out of your busy schedules to read my book, it really means a lot. Love - Belle ➳ ➳ ➳   A four-year-old naïve girl skipped along the tall field of grass. Her joyous giggles were heard as she followed a butterfly. She tried to catch the creature, hoping that she could hold it in her small hands and look at it more closely.   She wondered how such a creature exists, with delicate but beautiful wings that it could use to fly, carry itself to great distances. Like a child would, she wanted to fly one day.   It flew across the clearing with her in tow. The little girl inattentive to the dangers of the world around her.   "I'm nice butterfly, don't be afraid" her cute voice was followed by her giggles as she attempted to catch the winged creature, almost falling on her feet. Her eyes lit up every time she manages to get close to it, but she can't catch it, she was far too small.   She stopped once she realized that she was about to enter the forest. The butterfly flew straight to the thick branches of the trees, navigating itself deeper into the woods.   She sighed and watched it flew further and further away from her. But she couldn't cross the tree line, she wasn't allowed to enter the forest unaccompanied.   But that, didn't stop her from being the curious girl that she is, she always questioned what is inside the forest, why would her parents never want her to play and explore?   She sighed in sadness as she no longer sees the beautiful creature. Dismay etched on her delicate features. Her eyes that were once brown slowly turned to blue. There were not many butterflies in their pack, even the flowers planted by her mother couldn't attract them.   Only a few could be seen, but they too seem to disappear into the forest whenever she wanted to follow and catch them.   She then strolled away, and soon enough her gloomy mood brightened as so did her eyes turn to their normal color. The sun was setting, and once the moon come out, so will the stars. She ran home excitedly seeing her father seated by the front porch, looking exhausted after grueling hours of managing a pack.   Her father greeted her with a warm hug which she returned with a kiss on his cheek. She was lifted off her feet and seated on her lap.   She played with the hem of the white dress that her mother put on her. She was a definition of a very curious adventurer, with wanderlust that couldn't be contained, wanting to explore every single inch of the world, but her parents wouldn't let her.   Because the world is dangerous for a girl like her   She looked at the distance and sighed once again. Both of them watching the sun set by the horizon.   She always thought of going around the world, picturing it in her mind, how would the world outside the pack would be like? She made a promise to herself ever since she heard stories from her father about the outside world.   Soon the moon risen, her father hugging her close. " See the stars my Angel? Pick your favorite one and make a wish" as per their tradition.   She looked up and pointed to the brightest one, her father encouraged her to make a wish.   "One day I will see the world, like a butterfly and fly into the sky” she whispered closing her eyes, her hands clasped together, hoping that her wishes could come true.   She then looked at her father expectedly, he smiled at her. "Of course, you will my little flower, someday you will " he then kissed the top of her head.   The little girl then turned to the moon, smiling up, wishing that the moon goddess saw her.   Her eyes once again changed color, to a beautiful shade of yellow   She was truly a special girl   Because she was a gift.   A gift from the moon goddess herself   ➳ ➳ ➳ ©BellewithaJ
