Kiss, Kiss

Lucy's POV. "That Bastard!" I slammed my shot glass on the bar table and grabbed the bartender for another one. My guess is that it was around two in the morning. The bar was dark, a few neon lights hanging from the ceiling for decorative use. There was barely any females in sight which explained why I felt the eyes of the men around me, boring onto my back. I glanced to my left to see a friend with a curvy body as her identification. On my right I see a nearly passed out man; the one in question had the same colored hair as my friend, Natsu. I assumed I was tripping due to the amount of alcohol I had consumed in the time I had been at the pub. I grunted as I chugged the last glass down, Letting out a sigh of relief from the feeling the drink left in its absence. I grabbed onto the lime on the plate in front of me and bit into it before shivering at the sourness. My head was buzzing, my eyes blurry. I definitely had drunk too much. I laughed to myself as I turned to the bartender named Honoru for the night, "Hey, psst.....2 more." I snorted out, "L-Lucy, I think that's enough." He stuttered, I vigorously shook my head in disagreement, "No. I need more," I pointed towards the gin bottle at the shelf behind him stubbornly. "Can I get that, Please?" I hiccupped, "Lucy, your brother will kill me if he finds out that you're here." Honoru threw a rag over his shoulder as he took my shot glasses away. "Listen here-" I got up from the bar stool, only to feel a pair of hands on my shoulders, sitting me back down. "Man, she drinks more than me. Hey, sit down." smirking, I turned to see Cana, finishing her drink and putting her cup down, "When did you get here?" I ask, I giggled as I swayed back and forth, "The moment we arrived." She ruffled my hair, "Oh god. I feel sick." The pink-haired man groaned beside me, "When did you get here?" I questioned him, "Lucy. I was the one that kept you from taking off your shirt." He held his head. Oh. I oh-ed out in realisation that it was the reason behind why people kept staring at me, I laughed at the thought and patted him on the head, "Thanks Natsu. I appreciate it. You're a great friend." I slurred, Before I could say anything else, the bar door slammed open. Still hungover, I turned towards the door, a familiar blue-haired girl, hunched towards the floor in breath deprivation, her hands resting on her knees as she caught her breath. Natsu and Cana looked up towards her, "Wendy?" They both questioned simultaneously, "Natsu!" She ran through the bar, avoiding the tables and crisscrossing towards us, she bent over, her hands resting on her knees as she tried to catch her breath, "N-Natsu...Lisanna's in the hospital." She cried, tears brimming in her eyes, "What!" Natsu immediately snapped out of his drunken state and pushed his bar stool back. I grabbed for his glass and took a small sip. I questioned to myself of why I was drowning my misery in alcohol while one of my best friend's was in the hospital, "She got in a fight with these girls at a party, They're in the hospital too. Elfman had to call the police before Mirajane killed everyone in the area!" I choked on my drink as I felt it go up my nose, "Ugh!" I moaned, I quickly pinched my nose. Damn it! Mirajane is the scariest woman I have ever met in my life and those girls messed with her sister. It's no wonder they were in the hospital. "Luce, I gotta go. Cana, get her home before her brother finds out that she's here." Natsu grabbed his coat off the table, grabbed my head, giving me a quick forehead kiss before grabbing Wendy's hand and dashed out of the bar. I waved as they disappeared and looked over to Cana who was tearing up with a bottle to her lips, "She's such an innocent child." She cried. I patted her on the back as I pulled the bottle out of her hand and downing it, "T-There, there." I comforted, slurring at my words, "Lucy!" a familiar yet annoying voice boomed in the bar. My eyes widened in fear. In realisation of knowing that voice, I quickly grabbed a few bottles off of Cana who tried to get them back, slapped her hand away, spotted the exit sign to the back door, slipping off the bar stool and tip-toed past the man, hoping that he wouldn't see me. Hands reaching for the back door, I felt a large hand clamp down on my shoulder, my eyes widened in horror as I gulped and turned to face an unhappy and pissed off orange head, "Ahaha. L-Loke....what are you doing here?" I sweat dropped as I faked my innocence, "What am I doing here? That's funny I was gonna ask you the same thing." He grinned but behind that grin was a fuming demonic spawn! "I just... wanted to get drinks for-" For who? Quickly thinking of someone who'd be my culprit, I settled for Levy, "For Levy-" "Levy doesn't drink." He replied, raising an eyebrow and smirking, Shit. "Ok fine. I was just hanging with some friends." I pouted raising a glass bottle to my lips only to find the drink being pulled away from me, "Hey! Hey!" I felt his hands grab my waist and haul me over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes. My head spun as blood rushed to my head and my stomach churned, "Oh hell no! Loke, put me down!" I beat my fists on his back, but he only shrugged it off. "Cana, You better finish up. Bacchus is waiting for you outside. Please pay Lucy's bill too, I'll pay you back later." Loke said and started walking to the exit. "Sure. Night, Luce!" Cana laughed, Traitor. "If you don't put me down, I'm gonna vomit on your back.... everywhere." I lazily threatened. "Don't you dare you little s**t! I just got this new jacket and it cost me a fortune." he growled, "Come on let me go! Ugh!" I cried, I heard him pull out his keys as he walked to his car, "No-can-do, little Sis. I'm taking you home, Jellal found out that you're here and he's pretty pissed." He said, I heard his car unlocking, "Omg, No! Please, anyone but him" I cried, fearing my brothers' cold stares. ------------ --------------- ------------ "Lucy, go to sleep." Loke sighed as he pinched the bridge of his nose in frustration at the childish behavior I was putting up, "Never!" I pushed him out the door next to him and locked it, I shuffled my butt to the car window and pulled it down, "Hehe!" I laughed evilly, I watched as he walked away tutting and saying something about walking home to get Jellal. Once Loke was out of sight, I got out of the car, locked it and walked towards the the steps that led to the roof of the bar that was for the use of builders for the future. As I got up on the edge of the roof, I looked down at the snow-covered ground. It looks so beautiful! I should jump. Yes. Let me just. Realization hit me and my eyes widened "Oh hell no!" I turned to walk back towards the steps, still on the edge, only to step on a tile covered with solid ice. "Oh s**t!" I screamed as I fell off. I waited for my back to hit the hard ground which never came, my eyes slightly squinted open, checking if I was alive. I regretted opening them. "I asked God for a woman and he gave me you. You'll do." A playful voice teased, "Fullbuster, Put me down!" I snarled "Ooh your breath!" He winced, letting go of me like I asked, "No, wait-" My butt hit the snow covered ground, "Freezing!" I shivered. Getting up and dusting the snow off me, my arms crossed over my chest seeking warmth for my freezing hands. "I...m-meant on m-my feet" I gritted, Gray just rolled his eyes as he shoved his hands in his long coat, "Whatever. Is Erza home?" he asked, "Yeah, she is. The last I heard was that Erza and Onee-san were watching TV in the living room, but I know that they're making out now." I shivered as I tucked a strand of my blonde hair back. He didn't say anything. I looked up and he clenched his jaws nodding, "Oh. Ok." Erza and Gray have been best friends since they were kids, throughout the years he had developed feelings for her. Of course, he didn't tell me but I didn't need to be told, you can just see how he treats her—And how he looks at her. Feeling a bit sorry for my 'dear' nemesis, I pat him on the shoulder, "Gray it's ok. One day. One day!" I repeated comfortingly but it sounded more like I was mocking him. Before I could finish, he brushed my hand off. I bit my lip and looked out, realising that it was almost 3 in the morning now. I questioned myself what the hell he was doing there. "Hey? It's like 3 in the morning, what the hell are you doing here?" I asked, he didn't answer. I tried to help, but I gave up, I wasn't going to freeze my ass out there waiting for his answer and I certainly didn't want to, "Goodnight Gray." I yawned stretching, "Oh, it's morning." I realized and giggled. I waved to him as I walked up to the stairs, I didn't realize I stepped on a slab of ice until I flew back once again, "f**k!" "Whoa!" I turned mid-air to see Gray at the bottom of the stairs ready to catch me, I really wished he didn't at that point because what happened next, is something I would never imagine I would ever do in my life. It seemed that Gray was way more surprised than me, our lips were against each other and it was if my cheeks couldn't get any hotter. It was like I had just pressed my face against a volcano—yeah, maybe not. "Hey, maybe we should try that Jellal. I heard making out on top of snow is a trend these days." I quickly got up and turned to see a beautiful Scarlett-haired woman smiling at us and an angry looking dark-blue-head glaring at me, "I-I uh...G-Good morning?" I stuttered as I shrugged my shoulders. I looked over to Gray, his face red and he looked dazed, I bit my bottom lip and groaned. Why did it have to be here of all places? Edited by-clobo1500
