Chapter 1 - Charles

“Don’t tell anyone about this or else, you’ll get in trouble.” I stared up into her blue eyes as my body was shaking as she started touching me, down there. “I don’t want to do this.” I said as I pushed her hand away. “Come on, just for a little bit.” She said, putting her hand on the front of my pajamas again. “And if you don’t like it, I won’t do it again.” “I already don’t like it.” I said, pushing myself up to get off my bed but she grabbed my wrist and pulled me back on the bed, getting on top of me. “Get off me!” “You’re going to like it, I know you will.” She started pulling my pants down. “Stop it!” I yelled, trying to push her off me.             But she was taller and older than me by two years, so when I pushed her away, she stood at the edge of the bed and pulled her shorts down. I quickly pulled my pants back up as I backed away. “You’re twelve years old now. And I’m going to show you how to be a man.” She said, pulling her shirt off. No, no, no. She crawled towards me as my body froze, shaking, feeling my eyes well up. “Stop it. Stop it, Stop it –”   “Stop it!” I yelled, snapping my eyes open, staring up at the gray stone ceiling. My heart was beating hard and fast against my chest, my body shaking and covered in sweat from that memory. That dirty, dirty memory. I pushed myself up, sitting up in bed, my bare back against the cool board. “Charles.” I turned my head towards that wonderful voice.             Lilith stood in the bathroom doorway in a blue tank top and black shorts, her towel in her hand. Her short hair now longer, around her shoulder blades, dripping wet onto her tank top – the Houses Wolf tattoo on her left shoulder. She quickly walked towards our bed, crawled towards me, and reached for my sweaty face. “Was it that same dream?” She softly asked as she wiped my cold face with her warm hands, I couldn’t look at her as I nodded my head, the smell of her shampoo hit my nose and I started to calm down.             I haven’t told Lilith about what happened to me when I was twelve, feeling ashamed and too dirty, and Lilith hasn’t once pushed me to talk about my dream that’s been going on for a week. Lilith moved closer to me and held me. I wrapped my arms around her warm body, laying my head on her shoulder – not realizing that my body is still shaking. Lilith held me for a while, her body warming mine as she slowly ran her fingers through my sweaty wet hair. “Better?” She asked softly, pulling away, and looked at me with her reddish-brown eyes, a small scar above her left eyebrow. I nodded my head and she gave me a small smile before pressing her lips against mine. I held her as I deepened the kiss, wanting to forget that dream. I kissed down to her jaw and neck, kissing her throat as she tilted her head to the side. I sucked on her skin before sinking my fangs into her neck – her nails digging and scratching my bareback. I groaned at the slight pain and bit her harder – causing her to dig into my back a little harder. I licked the blood away, only to have Lilith’s hand under my chin and tilt my head up to meet her lips, kissing me passionately. It took Lilith about a week, after our wedding, to comfortably make out with me – but, man, when she kissed me that first time she was suddenly so passionately aggressive we were both surprised. Especially since Lilith suddenly came into my office, walked around my desk, grabbed my shirt, and pulled me towards her, pressing my lips against hers. It wasn’t until after we stopped to breathe that I noticed her eyes were completely amber. Lilith told me she needed a little outlet for Sister Wolf, she was restless, Sister Wolf wanted to go out and run, she needed to be free – that night was a full moon. I felt Lilith’s hand slide up and down my left arm, my muscles twitching at her touch, she hummed against my lips before kissing down my neck, she pressed her nose against my neck and breathed in, humming again before I felt her tongue lick the sweat on my neck – turning me on and making it tight in my shorts – before she finally bit me, claiming me. I tightened my hold on her, keeping her against me until she finally licked my neck again and kissed my shoulder, laying her head down with her nose against my neck. “You need a shower.” She mumbled. “Do I smell that bad?” I asked, sliding my hand up her back – her back arching. “No,” she took a deep breath and felt her slowly breathed out of her nose. “You smell good, even when you’re covered in sweat, but others aren’t like me and will think you stink.” She lifted her head up and pressed her lips against mine briefly before pulling back. “Come on, take a shower.” “Will you join me?” I asked with a smile. She rolled her eyes with a smile before getting off the bed. “No, I just finished taking one.” I pouted at her. “Why didn’t you wake me up, so we can take one together?” “I’m not going to answer that.” She said before tilting her head to the side and looked towards the door. In the last six months, Lilith has started acting very wolf-like, she’ll tilt her head often, especially when she hears something, when she’s mad she’ll pulling her lips back, baring her fangs, or snap her teeth at people and a couple of times, I’ve caught her sniffing the air and stretching out on our bed – or on the couches in our office’s – like a dog would, arms and legs straight out, or downward dog. “The kids are here.” She said, smiling a little, showing her sharp canines, her eyes turning amber and small patches of fur started growing on her arm as Sister Wolf was ready to come out and play with the kids. Since Lilith has been here, Sister Wolf has demanded Lilith to spend time with the kids in the House – playing for about two hours almost every night. Everyone at first was scared and unsure about the kids being around her because they weren’t sure it’ll be safe, but the kids were curious and want to see Sister Wolf and eventually, they started letting the kids spend time with her in the nursery and backyard. And they had proven themselves that they will let nothing happen to the kids being careful when they’re playing and even a few months ago, a Cougar had ended up on the property and almost gotten one of the kids as they were playing near the trees, Lilith ended up fighting it and managed to chase it away up a tree with the help of the wolves that were around and heard Lilith. Lilith walked out of our bedroom doors to open the hallway’s door. I stood up and walked to my dresser, grabbing my clothes and listening to Lilith talk to the kids. “You guys ready?” She asked. “Yeah!” They yelled. “Alright, you guys remember what we’re doing tonight, right?” “We’re were going to find some lost kittens and puppies and bring them home!” A little girl yelled.             At least, two or three times a week Lilith, as Sister Wolf, and a few volunteered adults and teens will go into town with the kids and pick up any abandoned animal and bring them home to be checked out by our Veterinarian – who is more than happy to teach kids how to care for them – and let anyone in the House keep them or we take them back into town and have them adopted, especially since we have a couple of people here working in the local animal shelter and pet stores. “That’s right. But remember if we don’t find any that’s a good thing. Okay, now go downstairs and wait in the lobby with everyone else while I get ready.” “Okay!” They said. I can hear a couple of footsteps running away and the soft click of the door closing. Lilith came back into the room, a slight limp in her step that’s barely noticeable unless she’s walking slowly – like now, taking her time – or when she’s tired. Lilith walked into our closet and walked out with a fairly big red dog backpack, a red dog collar with a tag, and a leash, placing them on top of her dresser before pulling her drawers ope-n. I watched as Lilith pulled out black jeans, draping them over her shoulder as she closed and opened another drawer, going through her shirts before pulling out a dark gray long-sleeve thermal shirt. She closed the drawer, grabbing the backpack, collar, and leash, and walked to our bed, dropping the things on the mattress, and with her back still towards me, she pulled off her tank top – standing in her white sports bra. Even though we haven’t done anything, we’ve gotten comfortable enough to change in front of each other but no matter how many times we’ve done it, we still can’t stop staring at each other or look away in embarrassment when we’re caught looking. I stared at Lilith’s strong back, my eyes going down to her lower back that is clear of that word that was carved on her, but then my eyes glanced to her left side where I can see the pale pink end of her scar above her shorts, the reason why she has a slight limp. Lilith pulled the gray thermal on, hiding the scar, and pulled her shorts off, pulling her jeans on. She reached for the dog collar on the bed and turned around towards me, holding it out. “Put it on for me.” She said. I smiled as I walked towards her and grabbed the leather collar, looking at the silver tag as Lilith turned around, pulling her hair up. Sister Wolf If Lost Call Charles With my number on the bottom. It was Lilith’s idea to get a collar, so she can roam around at night and sometimes in the day as Sister Wolf, so people will think she’s a wolf-dog. It works, especially on nights like tonight. But one time she was shot at, luckily the hunter missed because two of the kids were with her that night, a few feet behind her, holding her leash. I wasn't there but I heard that Lilith was furious because she was nonstop snarling at him, her body in front of the crying kids. As soon as any of my people got there, along with the neighbors that heard the shot, Lilith was pacing and snarling, looking ready to attack the hunter. In his defense, he thought she was going to go through his garbage or attack any of the neighbors’ pets but luckily lifted the gun in time as he saw the kids behind her. But still didn’t see that she had a collar and a leash that one of the kids was holding. None of us were happy about it, especially me, but Lilith and Sister Wolf had a harder time with it because Sister Wolf was furious about it for a week, making Lilith irritable and a bit of a bomb, any little thing setting her off throughout that week. I fastened the clip then moved the collar a bit, so I can kiss the back of her neck. Lilith turned her head towards me, letting her hair go, as her left-hand slide behind my head. I lowered my head and pressed my lips against hers, wrapping my arm around her waist. Lilith turned her body around in my arms, wrapping her arms around my waist, her fingers grazing my skin, her touch burning my bare skin. I softly nipped at her bottom lip as she pulled away. “I got to go, you know how the kids get.” She mumbled against my lips. I growled a little, pulling her lips back against mine. She groaned a little before pulling away again and quickly placed her hand over my lips. I opened my eyes and stared sadly at her, she let a little laugh. “Don’t give me that puppy look.” She moved her hand away and briefly pressed her lips against mine, before walking out of my embrace to move to the side of the bed, pulling her steel toe boots out from under the bed, her socks in them – taking her socks out of the boots.             She put her socks and boots on then stood up and walked to her dresser, grabbing a rubber band, running her fingers through her hair a bit before tying her hair into a low ponytail. And finally grabbed her black titanium ring, placing it on her left ring finger – no matter how many times I see her putting it on or seeing her wearing her wedding ring it makes my heart beating fast in joy. When she came back towards the bed, I reached for her left hand, bringing her hand up, and kissed the ring before kissing the back of her knuckles. I looked at her as she let the back of her fingers caresses my stubble cheek. “Be careful out there.” I said. She smiled at me before leaning up and pressed her lips against mine. “Can’t promise anything.” She mumbled against my lips, before turning around and grabbed the backpack and leash. “I’ll see you in a few hours.” She gave me another peck on my lips before rushing out the doors. “Behave while I’m gone.” She yelled back, followed by the sound of the door closing. I let out a little laugh before heading to the bathroom to take a shower.
