Prologue

I stepped into the opening covered by vines and flowers. Breathtaking. That was the only word I could use to describe the scenery before me. A large lake shimmer and glowed as the bright full moon shone light upon it. Lilies floated above its surface, scattered and creating homes for the large purple butterflies. But what really caught my attention, was the woman levitating in the middle of the lake underneath the moonlight which highlighted all of her delicate features. She was facing my direction but her eyes were closed as she meditated in the deafening silence of the environment. I was curious as to what a woman would be doing here at this time and why she was like that. But then again look at me letting my curiosity lead me places. My four year old mind couldn't understand anything that was happening at this point. All I knew was that something drew me here and I was enjoying the view and silence. Without thinking, I silently tiptoed towards the woman, wanting to have a closer look at her beauty, but also wanting to not disturb the silence here. Up close, the woman had hair as white as snow, longer than any hair I've ever seen, with a pale complexion to go with it. Her cheeks slightly tinted. She had almost perfect eyebrows which furrowed slightly in concentration. Her closed eyelashes brushed against her cheeks casting a slight shadow over them. Her lips looked soft and pink and they were slightly parted. The wore a light blue silk dress which went all the way down to her bare feet. This woman was beautiful, no doubt. This entire scene looked like something from a fairy tale. "Adeen why are you here?" The woman suddenly spoke frightening me. Adeen? Who's Adeen?  "What brought you here Adeen?" I looked for who she was talking to but found no one else but the both of us. I decided to speak up trying my best to project my small voice. "Wh-who's Adeen?" "You are. My child." The woman said, voice smooth and velvety. At this time she opened her eyes to reveal shocking silver orbs. "But my name is not Adeen." "What do they call you?" "Tyler." "Who are your people?" She asked again. "My people?" "Yes honey. Your people. Your parents and pack." "I don't know my parents' name. I just call them mommy and daddy." The pretty woman smiled at me gently. "Sweet heart your real name is Adeen." "Why do they call me Tyler then?" "In time you will find out. But for now just try to be strong throughout your whole life and don't give up. Your destiny soon awaits you. And it will be Glorious." I didn't understand why she was even telling me this.  "I know that you might be confused now but you will understand later. Now I think you should get back home before someone realizes you're gone." That night after I went home and slept. I was void of anything that happened before that and I couldn't understand why.
